Time saving, cost savings and ability to develop managers and Team leaders in relation to Rota management

Pros

Ease of use, ability to request other features, and the fact that there is a development team listening and always looking to improve , the live chat icon to send of questions when using it, the customer service. Integration with other software that we use.

Cons

There are some features that it doesn't have that we would like, but we have put requests in for these and some of them are already in development stage.

We have recently opened a new office and RotaCloud has helped us easily manage where our people need to be to cover all our needs.

Pros

RotaCloud is so easy to use, good layout and easy for staff to use too. Most of our staff use the App to keep on top of where they need to be.

Cons

I'd like to be able to only show Mon-Fri on the rota.

Rotacloud is the best solution I have found in a long time. I have a staff of between 5 and 10 and I was spending hours creating a rota on excel, I can't even imagine how bigger businesses cope. Rotacloud is simple to use and has loads of features and functions to choose from at the click of a button. You can even download an app for your phone which makes it easy to manage on the move. I highly recommend this software because when it comes to doing the rota I am not filled with dread anymore - 10 mins max each week is all it takes now and it is worth every penny!

Cons

again all features are easy to use and it was easy to integrate existing rotas

we looked at alternative rota apps but found Rotacloud easy to use and value for money

Pros

Easy to use. Lots of features. The app on the phone is so intuitive for staff to use. The ability for staff to pick up shifts at a click of the button is a heaven sent.

Cons

I think it would be nice to have an archive button for staff . Deleting staff if some permeant with no option to recover. With an archive option you can remove them from the rota, but there details are still recoverable. Good to use in seasonal job for returning staff. You staff on long term leave.

Pros

The system enables us to see our daily/weekly spend clearly . The staff can easily see their shift. The interaction/communications with the rotacloud team is excellent and they are very quick to respond.

Cons

We would like to see it link into holiday accrual. Not sure if it does this, haven' asked yet, but after the system has been locked for payday, I am not sure how to make amendments to shifts so that we can track the changes.

I think the main benefit is that the staff always know what shift they are doing.

Pros

I like that members of my team can have the app on their phone and if I need to make changes to the rota it sends them an update. Also when doing the rotas it's great that it adds the weekly hours up. This helps me to stay within budget.

Cons

I haven't found anything that I don't like. I have found it easy to use and the fact that it is a reasonable price is a bonus.

Pros

Notifications are sent to employees RE rota changes. Employees have the ability to request leave and shifts.

Cons

Sometimes I want a month view that I can see shifts on and edit from that screen.

It’s been absolutely amazing, and has given me less of a headache to try to figure out positions and scheduling.

Pros

RotaCloud is so simple to create rotas that your staff will easily understand. We use this program weekly to make sure our staff knows what their tasks are for the days they are scheduled. I like to switch things up and this makes it easier.

Cons

I wish I could use all of the features, but I find most to be a bit laggy. I use this in conjunction with a few other programs (for payroll, clocking in, etc).

We've been using RotaCloud for roughly 1 year; it's easy to use, the text and email shift reminders are great, the reporting is useful for sending to payroll and above all it's actually good value. I've marked it down 1 star for features and functionality as I believe there should be an easier way for setting recurring rota days, to avoid the need to copy and paste weeks into other weeks in order to populate future events

Pros

Ease of use, clear breakdown of hours, salary predictions and hours. Managing four separate rotas across two branches has become much easier!

Cons

All staff must be willing to use the software to maximise its usefulness, adding temporary cover to roots is a bit of a cumbersome manoeuvre which could be more streamlined.

Pros

RotaCloud makes planning rotas and managing budgets really easy. I particularly love the way that you can freely drag and drop shifts on a rota, letting you shuffle round a tricky shift or staff shortfall in a matter of seconds.

The set up is great, it has an easy copy and paste option to rota in advance. It collates stats and info effectively and sharing the rota's with staff is so easy.

I have nothing to like least about RotaCloud, I am happy with the product, the support and service .

Little hard to track the holidays used in a single snapshot and some of the terminology confuse employees but soon get to grips!

Pros

Fantastic ease of use! Excellent user experience! Brilliant accessibility! With just a few clicks you can generate great reports that are very beneficial for our organisation to manage expenditure and align this to our budgets. Across all users whether that is admin, manager or employee - the system is very responsive. The customer service team is great - helped us throughout the implementation and are very quick to providing information.

Rotacloud has replaced our old clocking in system & combined our leave management at same time. It's much easier to keep track of attendance & saves a fair amount of time. The cost is really reasonable for a small company like ours.

Pros

The clocking in and time keeping aspect.

Cons

That you have to publish shifts in order for staff to clock in on a desktop (it's ok if on app)

RotaCloud has cut my rota planning down from 3 days a month to about two hours. It's a wonderful interactive format and keeps staff notified saving me so much time emailing and chasing. I can copy forward next months rota easily, it works on phones. I can leave notes for staff. In short it is extremely useful.

Use this with a small team so was looking for good value for money - and it is just that. Support was excellent in set up and then ongoing. I'd like to see carry over functionality for holidays in there however that is a minor thing and I'll continuing to use the software as my business grows.
