It allows us to maintain our database and help us to communicate and reach them when needed. Pros Caspio is a decent database system that our department use for keeping all our patients records. I like that it is very secure and provides us with all the fields directory that we need. The platform is easy to use and provide us with good insights and summary charts that help our research work. There is a good amount of online resources that can help define each application component and improved the quality of your app and data. Cons The software had some limited functionality when dealing with selection forms and would not easily allow to choose between prior data points or predetermined selection lists. " June 15, 2012 5.0 We were astounded at the possibilities and potential of what we could do with Caspio. We needed a lot of support at the beginning (being non-developers) and we got it every step of the way! Caspio has not only fabulous support, but tremendous patience :) We were able to create all the fillable forms and databases we needed to flesh out the intangible (idea) to the tangible (website). Pros Once we got familiar with HTML and some programming, it all became so much easier - instant in fact! And so gratifying! Caspio made creating databases easy. It was exciting and quick to see our creations come to life before our eyes. Cons Early on, being non-developers, sometimes it was difficult to imagine what we could do, having little exposure. " February 21, 2022 1.0 They will make up policy to get you to sign, get on a zoom call to “help” set up but it’s really just there to push you into a subscription and misrepresent the contract. Tell you there’s a cancellation fee but really they just disable your account and charge you for the year upfront with repeated threats of collection.. all within the trial period. Soon as they “lock you in” they begin increasing price as well. Pros The promise of ease of use - lie. Promise of small cancellation fee- Lie. Account manager to help. It is pretty easy to generate reports and it could be done by anyone on the team as it has almost no learning curve. The experience was easy enough that I will be back for future projects for my website. Pros Product is easy to use. Lots of options to choose from. I used this to set up a very simple database, not knowing anything at all about databases and was able to accomplish what I needed after about 6 hours of watching videos and clicking around. Cons Having so many features can feel very overwhelming when you first log in. I wasn't sure where to start and put down the app for a month or so before I picked it up to learn it. It is so easy to upload any number of spreadsheets and create a database tool. Great for smaller data sets that are currently managed in an excel format. We were researching tools to migrate it online and came across Caspio. Their user interface is clean and pretty easy to navigate. Customer support is THE BEST: the staff I worked with were all fast in response and very knowledgeable about the product. Helps me out every time!
