It makes me look very good to my superiors on a daily basis! Pros Fast learning curve with application development experience and onboarding support. The speed at which I can now deploy new apps is often hours instead of weeks. Cons A couple small bugs when using javascript a few years ago when we adopted the service. We use Caspio to power a lot of applications that help our organization run very effectively. The support teams is great and the value for the money is right on point. Pros The flexibility and ease of customization. The software can easily be used to create a simple application in 1o minutes, or can incorporate very custom features that can be used to create a more complex application. Support is always available to help, and I can launch new features, test and deploy within minutes. Cons Could have more choices on export formats like exporting text files for an easier integration with other softwares. People think I am the hero of the day when I use Caspio to solve various logistical issues that come up in day to day activities. Most of the applications I create are internal, for staff to use to organize data. Pros I like how easy it is to use and how I can do mostly everything I want to do. There is a lot of flexibility to the product and it works very well. Over the years I've taken advantage of the free courses and one-on-ones which is really nice to pick up new ideas to add to my apps. To have a developer create these application would have cost me 10's of thousands for a developer, but for a fraction of the price I can make applications that I can edit and change very easily. Cons The one thing I dislike the most about the software is that Caspio changed to a new version that offers triggers, more space and bandwidth, my account doesn't have them activated since I'm grandfathered into an old plan, to get the new features it's literally twice the price. I am being charged for overage on bandwidth and don't have access to the new features, but spending twice the money for these new features is still not worth the price. Review Source SQ Shauna Q. The fact I can do it using their free version is also the largest reason in which my small organization has decided to use/continue to use this software. Pros I use the free version and it does everything that I need it to! Customer support is quick and helpful. I have emailed them, chatted with them, and spoken on the phone with them. There are a ton of training videos and documentation to walk you through using the software. I also love how changes are seamless and take place in real time. No waiting needed! Cons There is a bit of a learning curve if you are unfamiliar with database software. In the beginning I had trouble integrating it into my WordPress website and making it mobile compatible. The team assigned to manage our transition was caring, courteous and totally focused on a successful implementation of our project. A special thank you to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] for their commitment and professionalism as we worked to understand and implement the data necessary to manage our database and website. Pros This software made it possible to organize and structure data that was in an excel spreadsheet that had been managed by one person for almost 25 years. As a small organization with limited resources we realized that a tool like the Caspio Bridge would make it possible for us to manage our community of aviation Master Educators in a way that is fiscally responsible and allowed us to efficiently and effectively manage our community with one full time administrator and a select group of volunteers. Cons We had very limited technical expertise with any of the skills required to develop and integrate a product like Caspio with our simple requirements. I was contacted by technical team and they offer to help you build your custom app. I prefer to be more hands on and enjoyed going through the various tutorial videos to learn how to use it and get more ideas for our custom application. I have some experience with databases and love that it had similarities to design features & concepts similar to Access and using SQL statements. Its amazing how much of your app you can configure with just a data page. At first I was really impressed with price per data page but as I learn in different video tutorials, a real robust application will take you to the mid/highest price tier. Pros Love the video tutorials and there are so many great and powerful features in the design side Cons Not sure about integrating with other systems yet (accounting) and using on mobile devices Alternatives considered [Quickbase](https://www.capterra.com/p/157262/QuickBase/)[kintone](https://www.capterra.com/p/143607/kintone/) Reason for choosing Caspio Kintone has some different features but overall seems very similar. I can't think of anything I've ever wanted to do that we couldn't find a way to run quickly online with it. Pros If you can turn an idea into a spreadsheet, you can turn it into an embeddable interactive graphic. It's easy and incredibly powerful to use. Cons There are times where the flexibility of the software can overwhelm you, and graphing data can be complicated. Reason for choosing Caspio Comfort, ease to launch new projects. However, I abandoned the project after not making enough progress on the free version. Pros The concept is great. Caspio should enable you to create custom software without having to need to code. Cons For a no-code environment it's actually not very user friendly. To build something meaningful you would need expert assistance and you would need to purchase a plan before you can reach that stage. They always point us in the right direction or most times walk us through fixing it ourselfs. Pros The ability to easily learn/develope a function website based on a basic understanding of tables and fields Cons The abilty of the "Views" concept is nice. We have been happy with the massive potential that it can bring to our business as we strive to automate our processes and convert our operations to a mostly digital model. Pros Caspio is like a decked out tool-belt. A huge pro is the variety of features and abilities that the software gives the developer. Similarly, the customer support and library of helpful resources is not lacking whatsoever. Cons I was under the impression that Caspio is a "no-code" software solution, however I must have misunderstood because I have learned that it is most likely a "low-code" solution for a vast majority of use cases. Basic functions are certainly no-code, but most companies are not using Caspio for the basic functions, I imagine. Because of this, there has been a semi-steep learning curve for me personally. I would consider myself technologically adept, but I do not have even a ground level knowledge base of Java script or html language. Alternatives considered [kintone](https://www.capterra.com/p/143607/kintone/) Reason for choosing Caspio Caspio seemed to allow a level of personalization/flexibility that we were not sure Kintone would allow. Very happy with the product and associated support. Pros Caspio is remarkably easy to deploy. I was able to get online within a few hours. The data definition part of creating tables was very easy to use, and backing up and restoring tables is very easy. The overall user interface is intuitive. Customer support is responsive with great availability. Cons The only feature I wish was more robust is the download options from the Data Pages. Cons They lock you into a year contract and you must send written notice to cancel 30 days before your contract expires or they lock you into another 1 year contract without your consent. I know other customers have experience this so I will be looking into creating a class action lawsuit. Caspio Bridge allowed us to build and deliver a solution within 7 weeks from the time of purchasing our subscription.
