The process of answering is engaging, fun and pleasant. The data collection and view of overall results is also incredible! Pros The layout of questions on Typeform is incredible! It is certainly the most aesthetically appealing survey I have ever created. I have used the free version only! Cons It takes a bit of playing around and time to familiarise yourself with the question tools; this is not a major issue and is outweighed by the beauty of the end product. It looks great and is super easy to set up. Cons I sometimes feel limited by the interface, as it forces you into a specific style of form, but it’s not a huge bother. However, it may be quite expensive to some users. Pros Compared to other form builders, I prefer Typeform since it has a very appealing user interface for me and my responders. Rather than a static survey page, a user interface like Typeform will increase my users' engagement. Cons I don't particularly like Typeform's pricing as it seems pretty expensive compared to the extra features I get. Notably, the amount of responses cannot be deleted if it is just a test run. Pros Typeform is super easy to use, with predefined question types, and a nod to whimsy by allowing more than the standard checkmark/start ratings. On a scale of 0-10 cats, how likely are you to recommend our product? It's a little shake-up to the boring norm. Also very easy to export data to manipulate and dice it up to be truly informative. Cons No cons - using the free version currently and it meets our needs from an internal staffing survey standpoint, as well as sending out post-event surveys to our clients after an event. I would be happy to pay for the PRO pricing, but you don't get the feature of sending a completed form visitor to a thank you page unless you pay PRO++ pricing which is too expensive. It's quick to setup and generally always looks good. If you want to create larger and complex surveys, this is probably not the right tool. Pros Typeform is really easy to use. The form builder is intuïtive and being able to visually build the logic is a big plus! It's nearly impossible to create an ugly survey and I feel that my users also enjoy filling in the forms. Cons Typeform does have some limited capabilities and combined with the high costs it's nog value for money. Also applying your own branding and styling is limited but could be solved by Typeform by adding custom CSS. Overall I would highly recommend Typeform and I always go back to it when needed. Pros It's simple to set-up as a user but more importantly when you send out a survey of any kind, it is a seamless experience for the responders and it is also beautiful whether you add your custom branding or use one of their designs. Cons I don't have any dislikes to mention. I've used them many times at my regular job as well as my volunteer work and was never disappointed. Student Verifier Higher Education Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Great for Market Research" December 16, 2017 5.0 Pros I am a college student involved in entrepreneurship endeavors with groups and have used Typeform to create surveys to collect research for some of our target groups. I find it very intuitive to use and love the choices when it comes to how I am able to ask the question (i.e. multiple choice, select many, short answer). I also really enjoy being able to see the metrics and analyze the responses we have received on the surveys. Being able to download the results data as an Excel spreadsheet is one of my favorite features! The reports feature is also really nice as I can use that to visually present information/results of the survey. Being able to share the surveys I create is also very easy! Cons As a student and not a constant user, I wish there were different packages available to fit my needs. I cannot justify upgrading for more features such as being able to add other people to your workspace, when I am able to get the survey done myself and report back the findings. I would be nice if instead of maybe adding people to the workspace that would be able to make edits and create surveys, that they could just view the results. It would save me some time and help my teams collaborate better. Overall, I really enjoy the basic plan, but would consider upgrading if there was a package that fit my needs better! Can't live without it. Pros I absolutely love Typeform. In my opinion, it's got the best User Experience overall. Its forms are customisable, but the best thing about it is the one-question-per-time structure. Specially great for long answers, although all kinds of answers work well. Also for when you, for some reason, don't want the person to peek into the other questions, or have some sort of "surprise" promo or something on one of the next questions. Also, the way the responses are shown makes it easy to find specific information. It's also got integration with Zapier to save you time, and offers many ready to use gorgeous templates. Cons Only 10 (ten) questions on free mode. Getting only 100 responses is already bad enough. Come on, if you at least offered a plan between free and Pro, more people would get it (specially in countries w/ less 'powerful' exchange rates). " August 16, 2022 4.0 Pros We have been using Typeform for more than a year now and the team is happy about it. You can actually build some good survey or create some automation with it. It can be used in an email, in a communication tool like Slack. You can actually get a lot from a lot of different type of user like employees, customers, one time user, leads etc. Cons The suggested design are not the best. Pros The aesthetic presented by Typeform are one of the best in the market. You can customize your forms to look professional from the start. The dashboard is clean and the ease of use is there. Cons The payment integration of Stripe feels like an unfinished product. We tried to use it for and even translating the payment area strings is not possible. There is a lack of more payment methods so if your customers or clients only have credit cards you'll be fine. I got almost 80% solved ratio of email recipients. That is huge and I never had that high percent and I regularly send surveys to our customers. Pros Typeform allows me to create online surveys or forms which looks more natural and are designed by people for people. There are no fancy overkill features which some other survey tools have because they are often hard to use and perform far worse than a simple yet beautiful survey or form. Every form looks just beautiful and calls for recipients to answer more and more because I think it is more friendly than other survey tools. Forms or surveys are solved in the top to down approach and there is a nice graphical slide which tells you at which percent you are at the current survey. I especially liked connectivity with MailChimp. It worked very well. Cons I liked every part of Typeform except their pricing. For our budget, it is a way too high but if you try their free version you will see that it is more like trial limited version and it still performs very good. Also, I encountered some strange bug that bothered me for a long time. When I was using MailChimp connection some data weren't transferred correctly to this service. I tried to contact their support but it wasn't the speediest one and the answers I got weren't on a level as their tool. Review Source CB Chris B. Pros I like the most that with just a few clicks, I can use their pre-existing templates, and create a very effective and beautiful form for surveys, or market research. I was also able to create some interactive quizzes and the experience was excellent.I feel Typeform is one of the leading software in this area and provides value for the money spent on them.The forms can be embedded into a website or can be sent via mail, or I can just share a public link with anyone. It is super easy to use and implement. Cons I did not face any major cons, but their customer support service takes a lot of time to reply. Live chat for minor issues would be useful.
