March 13, 2020 4.0 I use this to assess new candidates that want to work in our company. Pros 1\. Easy to make and edit the questions. 2. Great customisation (pictures, drop down, choice, colour) options for the survey. Cons 1\. Errors. The only think I don't like about typeform is the integration to another 3rd party website. It's not every day but sometimes Typeform wouldn't import the result of their survey to my company's website. Thus I need to check it manually. It's by far the most fun type of form to send out, and looks professional to boot. The reporting element is great as well - as we often do surveys - so being able to provide a spreadsheet OR a report URL is awesome. Pros Love how personal, fun, and enjoyable Typeforms are to build and use. So much more whimsy than google forms (which are highly functional and get the job done, just nothing to look at). Love Sharing Typeforms instead of Google forms. Zapier integration makes it even easier to use them across many different areas. Cons The reporting feature is a bit lacking. Typeform really improved our completion rate. Pros Typeform feels exclusive, like your form is really from another world. Compared to other form solutions, typeform shines with it's stylish design. Cons The free plan got downgraded a lot, but the overall quality of the paid plans is really good. I have to use a better designed form. - Great integrations. Typeform can be integrated with Zapier, which basically means that Typeform can be integrated with every other hip technology out there. Want a slack message when a new form is filled out? Done! Want your Trello boards to update with form information? Alright! Cons Though the free version does a lot, the paid version does add a bit more. The paid version is great, but can be hard to justify unless you are getting a ton of responses. As someone who uses forms to do customer intake, my business is not at the point where I can validate a /month form. I opted for Ninja Forms for my customer side instead, but still prefer Typeform for all business side form information. Review Source SR Simone R. It wasn't, since Typeform is a very well built applications, with tons of options and support for developers. Pros Typeform is a form builder with a lot of options. Creating branches is very easy, through their visual tool. As a developer, I really appreciate the possibility to create and easily test webhooks in order to manipulate the data coming from the users, and interact with other third parties. Cons The submission limit for the basic plan (300 submissions per month) is very low, and not all companies can afford more expensive plans. March 5, 2019 5.0 Pros The seamless design and look of the forms are amazing. Beautifully designed. Also the Image selection option it provides is a unique feature that is nice to have. You get 10 free entries which is also great if you are on a budget and need a simple form. Cons When upgrading to a paid software, the cost is a little steep compared to competitors. While there are many unique features Typeform provides, I don't think it justifies the cost. This tool is even compatible with some of the firewalls and standards from the financial industry which Google's equivalent for instance is not. Pros Typeform has a great free version to make surveys. It is intuitive and you can quickly setup surveys and also change the order afterwards. Great UX. Cons Not much negative to say. Great company, great product. Pros I absolutely love typeform. Super straightforward and easy to use for both the creator and the user. Cons The only con is how many restrictions there are for the free version, but the 1st tier paid version isn't too much money. I definitely recommend getting the paid version. It is the best software to collect data for surveys etc. Pros It is super easy to use. I absolutely love the interface. We can toggle between the questions up and down without having to answer them chronologically. The best part is we can save the responses as draft and come back and continue without losing the progress. Cons I think the software is perfect. I haven\`t come across any issues. You can have different branches depending on a customer's answers to make the experience feel more customized. We're able to capture sentiment in a format that's easy for our customers to use. Cons It's not easy to format the text display on a page - you have to get a little creative to adjust the placement of text, etc. (e.g. centering the text). Some of the question flows can get really complex and it's challenging to verify the routing is accurate. There are some limitations with adding address verification as well. Review Source PP Paul P. My team, who isn't deeply technically inclined, is nonetheless easily able to use this software to build critical customer surveys and forms. Cons Really my only nitpick would be that it can be a bit difficult to visualize the "if this then that" branches depending on how a user fills out the form. For more complex automations of instructions my employees use as they work on customer support issues, it can be a bit hard to reconfigure our forms. Review Source Oliver L. Thank you. Pros I used to like the design and simplicity of Typeform and relatively unique approach to forms in general. But the positive experience we had is gone after the latest incident. Cons We have used Typeform for years but suddenly they changed their freemium model without any notifications, no emails, no announcement and all our forms stopped working. This was very unprofessional and caused us a lot of trouble. Another thing we started to dislike is this movable form - no way to turn that off and just have whole form in one single page when we want to. In general, we find Typeform not suitable for professional surveys. Reason for choosing Typeform Actually we have decided to get rid of Typeform after this incident. Apart from that, it's easy to use and provides quick ways of testing complex logic flows. Cons It falls short on more advanced options, such as advanced logic and advanced calculations. Everyone who has to make a survey has a hard time to engage the survey participants long enough to fill a long survey. Typeform's form design is just powerful enough to solve those worries. It's one of my favorite softwares to use based on the ease, interface, design and possibilities. Pros Typeform is very easy to work in. The dashboard is clean and sleek which I'm sure the users feel as well. We use it to capture sales leads. The form is customized and enables the user to share what they are looking for in a no pressure setting. This gives your sales members the information they need to make first contact. It's such a smooth tool for the user that it creates little friction for the consumer. Cons An issue we see with Typeform is fake or typo email addresses. There is no way to capture those contacts unless they did provide a working phone number. We have received positive feedback from those that have completed the forms and also benefited from a single response location with the feed to Google. Pros Most online forms are generic and essentially the same. Typeform changes that with a cool, interactive design that creates a better response from the end user. I have since old all my partner venues about Typeform and presented to areas about its benefits. Pros Without doubt the best form builder out there.
