Pros Having an organized report of the answers of any form is the best thing about Typeform, having email notifications and being able to integrate alerts easily on Slack. Cons You have to use Zapier in order to export the data to places like Slack. The process is not complicated through Zapier but it would be great if it could be done directly through Typeform itself. Pros Typeform is a great way to perform surveys and collect information. You can present your survey in a professional manner in which people actually want to participate in your survey. If Typeform wish to offer surveys they really need to think about how a survey is deployed and what is required. The UI is glitchy and the pricing structure is shocking. Pros We have traditionally used Survey Monkey but decided to give Typeform a go this time around for a large consumer survey that we use. What an absolute disaster. To be able to secure the 250 responses that we wanted we had to jump through hoops on what is an extremely complicated pricing structure. Customer support was extremely lacking and after back and forth over a week (AFTER the survey had been deployed to our database and subsequently locked by Typeform), we gave up, redid the survey through Survey Monkey and reissued to our database. We will never use this software again. Cons Its extremely glitchy. Testing was a challenge with the survey working sometimes on mobile device and others not (particularly on IOS). The pricing structure however is completely and utterly impractical for organisations looking to conduct a sizeable survey. Customer service was appalling. Review Source Alexandre B. Once passed the learning curve (onboarding could be a lot better), the tool is great and give you the ability to create rich, complex and animated forms in no time, and embed them where you are. I like that Typeform doesn't try to do it all, helping to keep pricing at an acceptable level. Great tool already, but with some tweaks can be amazing! It's great how it also allows for users to upload files, making the form more powerful and useful when we needed a user to submit a file. Pros It's easy to navigate and create forms that are easy and intuitive for users to use. It's easy to customize the design of your forms, especially when it's for a campaign. You can connect your results to Google Sheets and share those results with other team members without having to log in to Typeform itself. Cons A few glitches from my experience with characters that are imported. A few users emailed us to say they their submission was unable to go through. A few lost entries as a result of glitches. It has synced the data in one place for a quick reference. Pros 1\. Simple interface is very intuitive. 2. Drag and drop feasibility with easy to use customisable templates. 3. Integration of 3rd party softwares(e.g - Hubspot) Cons 1\. Multi-lingual option doesn't provide appropriate translation. 2. Can't customise the text(font),imagery. 3. Mobile view is not responsive. February 24, 2019 5.0 I have been using it for some time - and it is incomparably better to other solutions. For example, once I used Google Forms for answering scale 1 - 7. Then I realised that some people used smartphones with terrible narrow screen and answered only on scale 1 - 3 or even 1 - 2 (they were lazy to move the scale to the right...). However, this cannot happen with Typeform. Pros Almost everything! It is easy to use — both for a creator of the questionnaire and respondents. Respondents can quickly fill it both on laptops and smartphones. You can adjust many things - use logic jumps, create a template, use hidden fields and many other. It has been a revenue booster for us. Pros It has been of great use as one can do loads of customizations to make a survey worthy. The interface provided to design forms is really user friendly and simple. Typeform gives automation features to assist in making professional forms and surveys. Cons Pricing can be better as compared to its competitors. Testing of forms is sometimes an issue, especially when one gets unexpected glitches. Otherwise, it is a great tool at disposal. Producer Music Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Very Elegant Forms That My Customers Love, Some Rough Edges on the Backend" February 11, 2021 4.0 Typeform helps me get the information I need from my potential clients when I need it, and it makes the process enjoyable and elegant for everyone. It seems like there are some growing pains on the backend and I would like to see their data export made a bit more convenient for owner/operator type businesses, but overall I am happy. Pros The best feature are the easy to implement forms with lots of convenient ways to get the right kind of data in the right kind of way. Clients love using them, and I love making them! I find that I get a much better response than when I've used more basic form types from Typeform's competitors. Cons The way that it exports user data from the forms could be a little more helpful. When I have used this feature, it formatted the data in a fairly barebones way which would be acceptable if I was managing a large database and had a system in place for it. As someone who uses a few of these forms a month, it meant that I needed to do extra work. Also, it seems like they are still ironing out a few features in the dashboard as once in a while I will notice something in my UI \[not the customer's UI, it should be noted\] not working properly. These occurrences have been fewer over the last year so perhaps they've been improving it. Review Source WK Winnie K. Manager Design Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Engaging and easy survey tool" February 9, 2026 4.0 Pros Typeform provides a refreshing experience for users and makes it very easy to answer as it shows one question at a time, and also has clear instructions for users to answer the survey with their keyboard. The ability to use variables to make the survey a little more personable is also great for engaging users. Cons As Typeform only shows one answer at a time, I find it hard to carry out more complex surveys where you might want user to refer to a previous answer. They have also changed their plans over the years, leaving the lower-tier ones quite restrictive. I like the roadmap view to be able to check out any conditional logic. Pros It's modern and device friendly. It offers a variety of integration options. It's easy to get your data out. Cons Internal reporting tools are limited. The jump between pro and premium was a little hard to swallow and there is no options for any ala cart features. You shouldn't need to pay nearly twice as much just to redirect on completion, the only feature from premium I wanted. Pros It's easy to build beautifully designed and powerful forms and survey with integrated photos and videos and even allowing uploads. The forms are addictive and fun to use and have proven to consistently increase lead acquisitions. Cons Expensive for the pro version which you will need after you're done trying the software out. The free tier is for tinkering only. No WordPress integration which baffles me. LastForm is a WordPress plugin that piggybacks on Gravity Forms but it's no replacement for LastForm. If you've fallen in love with what Typeform can do you have no serious alternatives especially considering that the dev of Lastform has stopped supporting the plugin. Review Source GM George M.
