I use it as often as I can. I am limited by the UI of a particular site that I am building as to whether I can integrate the Typeform forms in or not. Pros It's built for the end user and makes it easy for them to complete the surveys. As well as it makes it easy for the marketer (etc.) to create. Cons The limitations of the free version, which is fair enough. You have to display the Typeform link at the end of your survey if you're not paying for the software. With the competing freeware options available, it'd be cool to see them change it and have another strategy for upgrading to the paid options. Reason for choosing Typeform The User Experience. Web forms reinvented. Pros The most beautifully designed online cross platform forms which will increase engagement and response rates because quite simply, they don't suck to use! Web forms are frustrating to use, especially on mobile devices, Typeforms are not. There are excellent features to survey people in a more innovative and direct questioning way rather than monotonous and monolithic forms. People respond better to Typeforms based on our survey results. Payment integrations and conditional fields make this great for selling complex products, such as in our case medical consultations which benefit from some data gathering before the event. Cons Very expensive for a SAAS product. Bearing in mind that you usually integrate it with some other SAAS product as either a data store or action / charge mechanism it adds up fast. Really limited free tier in both scale (responses) and feature set. The reporting features could be better for the price and are a bit too dependent on exporting as a spreadsheet. April 4, 2018 5.0 Pros I love about it that it is dynamic, easy to use and let's users submit responses to surveys or application forms just by typing, without using the mouse. It allows you to put pictures instead of text answers, or even animations and icons. I did one travel habits survey and got over 250 answers, compared to the same survey applied through Google Forms with around 60 answers, so far more attractiveness. Cons It can be limiting sometimes in the way you form the questions and possible answers. Also, it can be a struggle to fully integrate it on some websites, even though on mine worked quite fine. Since switching to Typeform we have seen nearly a 3 times increase in individuals filling out the forms and surveys. For us, taking that time to add style to the forms has increased our traffic and customer input. Pros Everyone hates filling our forms, but love filling out these. The approach to entering data into the form is very intuitive and flows very easily for the user. A lot of style can be added to the form to make it plesant and even entertaining. Pros You don't have to be an specialist in anything to use Typeform. Anyone can easily set up a poll, survey or form that people will actually answer since it looks simple and minimalistic, plus, each survey/form will have a beautiful and intuitive interface. Cons I haven't found much that i don't like, except for the pricing plans. It would be great if you could pay to create a single form/survey, since not everyone needs to use Typeform continuously but they may need to use it for one really important data research. It's easy to use, it actually tells the person filing it out what it wants and if they missed something it tells them that they did. It's a great program, one of the best if not the best one out there. Pros Typeform is a wonderful app. It's easy for the person dining it out to use and that's important. You put what you want from them Name, address, etc. and they fill it out. If they miss something it tells them that they missed it. It's a great program . I don't think any of the other ones compare to this one . Cons I have not found one thing wrong with it. I guess you could make it more Colorful, but you can. The conversion rate of completed forms is much higher than with other types of forms. Pros Filling out forms with Typeform can be fun. They are dynamic and with many different configurations. As a form manager I also have to say that it's very easy to set them up and program them to receive the answers. Cons The API is not very advanced, made of less certain important functionalities for my business. Also the designs are very nice but sometimes they do not fit correctly to the mobile. Pros It is really mobile first, totally focused in the users who will fill the forms. It has a modern layout with good interactions, that makes it very enjoyable to use. Moreover, it has several customizations and diverse integrations. Every change made to the template can be observed in real time. The page design to observe the information collected is worthy. It has never been easier to visualize collected informations! Cons It does not favor an image search, has no customizable display options. The images — in a form — are all displayed in small size and next to each other. Plans are not that affordable. I've used it to gather survey data from a large amount of our employees and the response rate has been amazing, much higher than in the past. I would lend that high response rate to the easy to use UI, the easy question formats and the overall pleasant aesthetic the product delivers. I will continue to use Typeform as my preferred method of surveying! Pros The usability. A lot of our survey respondents, especially internally have some serious survey fatigue. Typeform makes asking quick questions easy with its friendly UI and mobile responsive design. It also offers some pretty interesting ways of answering questions (i.e. rating by selecting how many stars). Cons Limited question options. Since TypeForm is still relatively new, there aren't as many options for questions as the competition. That being said, the basic styles remain and offer a great method of entry for those respondents who are tired of the pages upon pages of surveys. Review Source Jay D. This software is fantastic. The ability to create wonderfully custom and unique forms tailored to your industry/purpose is incredible. Going even deeper, each aspect of your form can rely on answers given in previous questions. I don't believe there is any other form builder that allows you to do this. Cons It's quite a large learning curve. The interface can take some time getting used to as there are a lot of bells and whistles. Pros Instead of focusing on the people building the form, TypeForm is designed around the person who will fill the form. Even if you face some additional steps when making your form, your audience will be more engaged when filling up, which means more filled-out responses. I love its conditional actions based on customer feedback. In turn, it eliminates unnecessary responses significantly. Surveys are also very immersive with Typeform, which competitors like Survey-monkey now pick up. Cons Type form is still very costly for small businesses, which might need to use a single survey for a larger audience. It will have been more meaningful for small or medium organizations if there is a package for buying like one or two surveys instead of an annual or monthly package. It is very easy to customize the templates and add your own questions and paths. It is very easy for users to respond. Cons I really like how easy it is to use. I have not encountered any issues.
