Pros: Easy booking, and has improved over the years
Backend booking/rebooking is quick
Lots of customization with system settings
Little downtime, but recently some issues with payments and texts (MindBody taking over?)
Easy scheduling of employees
Integrates well with hireFrederick.com

Cons: Owned by MindBody. I ran from MindBody years ago, and now they bought Booker...
New pricing tiers available on July 1st, 2018, but currently secret?
Cost for API access is extremely high, must be on the top tier.
MailChimp limited on API which forces use with HireFrederick

Comments: Would highly recommend!

Pros: Easy to figure out, and if I can't, I am in quick contact with support. Has all the functions that I thought I would need for a salon.

Cons: I wish I could change the colors to my specific "pink" where clients book appointments. Other than that, it's been great.

Pros: the system has amazing features and reports that make running your business very easy because you have inmiate access to your information and database.

Cons: It's a little bit hard to get the reports and see the customers previous payments and visits, but once you get the software it is easy.

Overall: The sofware helped our business in a great way, it has helped us expand our business that are great for small studios.

Pros: I like that the software makes scheduling very easy. Since it is online, everything is stored in one location.

Cons: It can take time to learn the program. There is a learning curve to the process and it can be frustrating.

Pros: Booker was a good software for the first few months but has been nothing short of a nightmare for the past 2 years. Promise after promise to improve the platform and engineering reasonable redundancy and diversity have all been unfulfilled. If you decide to use Booker, I promise you will experience long outages (sometimes over 2 hours). If you visit the Booker Status Page the day after an outage, it will be as if it never happened. Poof!

Cons: Booker has not changed or improved since the acquisition by MindBody. My guess is that it will take them months/years to undo the mess created. I feel for the Booker Customer Support team having to make their best efforts to support clients when they often have no clue what the root cause of an outage or system issues is.

Pros: It has the basic functionality of online booking, sending clients text and email reminders and tracking employee time.

Cons: The thing i like least about this software is that it is very unstable. It is often "down". We decided not to go long term with this software for this reason.

Pros: Easy to use, easy to set up, keeps stylist organized and keeps a salon running smoothly and efficiently.

Cons: No cons at all. Its truly worth the investment and the time it takes to set it up. As an owner, it is exactly what you need for organization and growth.

Booker does cover many bases and does so at a reasonable price.

Pros: I can accomplish a solid amount of marketing tasks from directly within Booker. Overall, I appreciated these easy email blast features.

Cons: Unexpected performance issues, requiring a communication with company. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good.

Pros: Easy to understand and use. I would say that it is very user friendly. If you don't know something, it's not hard to figure out.

Cons: The system does seem to go down pretty frequently. It also will run very slow from time to time and that can be frustrating.

Pros: The simplicity.
I wasn't formally trained, because I prefer to learn hands on & watch the training videos etc. I was fully trained in all aspects in less than 2 months. This includes scheduling & product ordering.

Cons: I cannot process spa finder gift cards, nor can I input 2 separate names when booking a couples massage. Two very crucial aspects of booking for a spa.

Overall: Ease of booking.

Pros: Booker is a great website for booking clients, and the ease of use is welcome as less time is spent booking which frees up more time to pursue more clients and to attend to current clients needs.

Cons: There have been some ups and downs with the software, though they do try to implement fixes as soon as they can. As with any software, or anything else, really, when one fix is applied other issues tend to crop up as things progress. Constant room for improvement.

Pros: This software is great for any business selling packages (such as a spa) and who has multiple employees.

Cons: The price is a bit too high for me personally, I am a one person shop and I don't need all that it had to offer-yet!

Pros: My clients used Booker for their appointments and it was so easy to set up and navigate and their clients loved it as well.

Cons: Nothing I can think of. Very functional, easy to use, great customer service and the price was negotiable and right!

Pros: I like that the basics of the software are easy to use. Training a new employee on how to create appointments, check a guest out or confirm appointments is fairly simple.

Cons: The reporting functionality has been an issue for us. Sometimes you need to run 3 reports just to get the basic information that you are looking for.

Pros: The software is pretty strait forward, but this company not disclosing that they are now MINDBODY is unforgivable.

Cons: Mindbody clients beware of working with Booker. They have been acquired by them. I was working with Booker to switch from MINDBODY, our currently company, which is THE WORST! They were aware that we were unhappy MINDBODY clients and chose to say nothing about having been acquired by MINDBODY. SUPER SHADY!

Pros: You can create an account, review prior appointments and rebook quickly. Allows selecting type of services (and shows costs), select your stylist, preferred date/time and see about availability. Easy to use and our salon has integrated text reminders about the appointment booking. There are various tabs for information about the salon, specials running, the descriptions of services, and booking screen. Very intuitive and straightforward for the end user.

Cons: I have not found anything I dislike about this software in the few times I have used it for my husband's appointments.

Book allows to seamlessly book appointments for customers anytime, anywhere.

Pros: Easy to use interface anywhere, anytime, & be on top of your business with great insights.

Its booking & scheduling along with notifications makes life easy for anyone from a small scale to large business. You don't need to worry about taking appointments sitting at office, & can attract business pretty much from any where.

Cons: Their downtime affects business directly as it is part of active business and they need to improve on their customer support.

I only wish they would update reports less often.

Pros: Support and ease of use makes this the best booking and cash program I have ever used. I also like the payment option to be directly taken from my checking account.

Cons: I wish quickbooks could be included in the rental price.
I wish for help with PCI compliance. One stop shopping.
I would like the gift card sales and redemption to be simpler.

Comments: I am going to be switching over to something more reliable. I have had it! To many glitches, to many crashes, no one live to speak with!

Pros: It is user friendly. Easy to learn and teach to others. The scheduling is a no brainer. The customers love the text message reminders. they also love the email reminders.

Cons: It always glitches. It is always down. We can not schedule! We can not take a payment. We literally have to operate blind until it comes back up! It has crashed multiple times over the last 2 years ( over 25). If you want to reach someone, expect an email back in a day or so. Don't bother "chatting" you will be waiting for someone to come on forever... only to be disconnected. There is no "live" assistance!

Pros: I set up this software for my aunt's boss, who owns a hair salon. she loves it, i guided her through how to use it. She, and i are absolutely satisfied with how easy it is to manage and keep track of. I absolutely love the fact that social media plays an important role in it.

Cons: I cant say there is something i don't like, but i wish it were more open to other businesses and not only just different types of salons.

Comments: All over a good idea of a company with overall service.

Pros: Easy to manage clientele great to book online user friendly website with junky customer service .....

Cons: Constant issues with system either shutting off or the text not going through. People rely on their text message reminders and if they don't get them they don't come in. This has cost me a lot of money with no shows. Guess I have to go back to paper book and texting everyone by myself in the mornings. The worst part is that every time I send in a complaint it is never the system. It is always Verizon or AT&T or the other carriers. Hello..... hows come i can text them just fine????

Pros: Its admin friendly on the back end and makes booking new clients a breeze. Simple formatting makes it easy for any new user to use.

Cons: They do have glitches and minor software fails on the regular basis and despite updates. It seems to happen more often then not these days.

Comments: Backwards from other systems I've used.

Pros: Easy to do some basic things, doesnt let to know when you are tipping out, splits the tips with every product purchased.

Cons: Tech support is ALWAYS over booked. you can call at 3:00 AM and you will get the same message- We are experiencing higher call volume than normal. The sales people called a couple times a day before I committed.

Pros: When implementing campaigns and landing pages in which our customers must have a tab for reservations, we always recommend using Booker, as it seems quite friendly and provides all the solutions that are needed.

Cons: Customers have reported that on certain occasions in their landing at the time of wanting to book an appointment the page is automatically reloaded, but I can not say that this is entirely attributable to Booker

Pros: It has basically everything you need for spa software, online booking, POS system, calendar, report system.

Cons: Not only that it's super expensive, it crashed numerous time. I have got different emails apologizing for crashing incidents

Pros: Self explanatory. Helps us manages several locations from anywhere. We are able to customize reports.

Cons: Customer service isn't what it was when we first signed on to Booker. When the fix "issues" they break something else that was perfectly fine before the update. They keep adding users and the quality is going down year after year.

Overall: Easy to manage from anywhere with an internet connection.

Pros: incorporates booking, product sales and gift certificates on one platform. Wish it was more customizable.

Cons: Gift Certificates do not allow sale of services, only dollar amounts. When gift certificates are purchased by a customer, NO notification is sent to business. System will log you out and disconnects from Clover frequently.

Pros: Point of sale is easy to use, and we have the client's history and membership at our fingertips. Booker works well for our facial spa.

Cons: Booker doesn't recognize that our 3 locations are the same company. We have clients who go to multiple locations, so it would be would so helpful if we could see their appointments and retail history at any location. For instance, if I have a client who goes to both the Polaris Parkway and Bethel Road locations in Columbus, I have to look at each location separately.

Pros: I love availability of the software via computer or mobile devices. It allows all of us to set our schedules and everyone can view what the calendar of appointments looks like. It is also nice to be able to block time out when needed. The ease of scheduling and taking payment allows us to utilize our customer service skills with our clients. Our clients love the fact that they are able to receive reminders via text or email. This in turn saves us time by not having to call them the day before their appointment. It is also nice that they can book appointments online. Monthly reporting is a huge help when it comes to tax time! The marketing feature through Fredrick is also very helpful!

Cons: There are a few features that we are unable to do via our mobile device versus through the computer.

Overall: I used to always use a Daytimer and have to write appointments in. As my business has grown and I now have other therapists that work with me Booker is a much easier way for us all to be able to view everyone's work schedule for the day/week/month.

Pros: We love booker, and so do our guests. They are always commenting on how easy it is to book their appointments, and we love that. It is also very convenient for our receptionists to learn, and manage the software.

Cons: I wish that there was better management of double-booking services. Usually you don't want this to happen, but especially with hair, there are times when it's appropriate.

There have been a few issues, but overall my experience has been very positive.

Pros: Easy, efficient and convenient for everyone to use. Not difficult to learn and train employees on. It's easily customized to fit our needs.

Cons: This software is more suited toward service businesses like salons or spas, but we have managed to make it work for us. Unlike salons and spas, our jobs are not all located at one place. We would like our clients to see the address of the appointment in the confirmation emails and this feature is not available.

Overall: It really helped bring us all together both in the office and in the field. I love that it is cloud-based and any of our employees can access the site from anywhere. It also helped us completely organize the schedule. I love being able to find jobs we did in the past.

Booker has made managing my clients a breeze. I wouldn't want to do business without it.

Pros: The online booking, appointment confirmations, and appointment reminders are essential for this industry.

Cons: Insurance receipting can be improved. For example if you link a few services or if you book a package the therapist's name and registration number does not appear on the receipt. Most services are partially claimable so this is important.

I love booker! I've implemented it for a few of my Salon and spa clients and have no complaints!

Pros: I love the overall user interface. It's super user friendly, both on the customer side and employee side.

Cons: Sometimes the software goes offline, but it's never for more than a few minutes at a time. They are always great about notifying users when the system goes down and when it was resolved.

Pros: I really enjoy how simple the software is and how I am usually able to troubleshoot without much difficulty or frustration if something does happen to go wrong.

Cons: I dislike how stubborn and inflexible it can be when booking appointments. It will sometimes insist that I add payment information or claim that the stylist isn't available which prevents me from being able to book the appointment. I wish that I had more control in those instances.

Pros: user friendly, fairly intuitive, I like that it is pretty easy to change things and the clipboard function to do this.

Cons: sometimes it is not perfectly suited for how we do biz as a reflexology business. But this is to be expected. it does pretty well considering.

Booker was pretty easy to manage and took me less than a day to learn.

Pros: The ease and flexibility of the software. I found the scheduling to be manageable and always up to date. The booker team was also very responsive and helpful.

Cons: Sometimes scheduling would get messed up and rearranged. Additionally, creating a new class function was more difficult than needed.

Booker is the best system I have ever used in 8 years of working in the spa industry.

Pros: It offers a wide variety of functions such as booking appointments, viewing reports, point of sale, memberships, etc. The actual webpage is easy to read and use, and the ability to clock in and out on both the desktop and mobile app are great. I love that I can check my schedule remotely as well; it allows me autonomy and control overy schedule.

Best investment I could have made!

Pros: I was just starting my company and Booker, along with the Clover system and Frederick help me get off to a great start! Booker books my appointments, tracks my sales, gives reports AND Frederick helps me book appointments and post feedback. This is the best and I highly recommend!

Cons: The only issues are usually connectivity issues, but that is more of an internet speed thing. There are also some features that haven't been implemented yet, like double checking that I am available for an appointment before the appointment is allowed to go through online.

Pros: Easy to use.

Cons: Sometimes customers don't get reminders. You can buy the system it's every month payments. They should listen to customers request more. I can't store credit cards on file. At least you have free customer support.

Pros: The on-boarding process, customer service; continuous efforts to improve the user experience; that it doesn't show nearby competitors like Vagaro; seemless connection with Clover credit card system with option to email receipt for a paperless environment

Cons: The phone app could be more user friendly. Ex: I'd like to see a tab for the client notes to appear so I can reference them during a consult instead of having to go to my laptop.
Booker seems to go offline or freeze during peak times.

Overall: It helped me start my business; reminds clients of their appointments via text/email; stay current with inventory and reports

Sales rep don't know everything and support don't even answer for days. Not enough staff and pricey

Pros: I love the idea of being able to check my schedule any where that I am. No more phone calls to the salon!

Cons: I would like it that we could all have our clients phone numbers on our mobile devices in case we need to contact for an emergency, ie, bad weather .

I use the app for very few things; mainly booking and canceling appointments.

Pros: What I like most is that it is convenient to book and cancel appointments on the go and while i'm away from the salon.

Cons: I have had difficulties using the app for much else. For example, there is no "clipboard" feature like there is on the web version. So in order to change an appointment, i must cancel the existing appointment (which sends out notification emails to clients, salon, and myself) and then create a new appointment (which then sends out another batch of notification emails).
I also have had difficulties with sound issues while using the application while my headphones are in: LOUD screeching noise is obnoxious and somewhat painful.

Overall: Ease and convenience of booking appointments outside of the salon and away from a computer.

Excellent program, help me a lot with the organization of my business

Pros: Reports and ease of payroll. Online booking and ease of site for clients is great. It is way less complicated than other software available.

Cons: I dislike the new text alerts they did for both versions, but at least I can see V2 getting some work done. I dislike V2 and the fact that it seems V1 can do more things with ease. I was promised a lot when I signed up and that is why I choose V2. I believe I started in May/June of 2017, and while I am happy with things and in comparison to what I was using, things were promised to be delivered in September, then by January and now I hear well into the 2nd quarter. Not impressed.

Pros: That it has the app on my phone for quick access, which allows me to book in new clients at my desk, instead of crashing the front desk.

Cons: Wish you could have an option to over lap appointments, sometimes I have two clients that come together but with being a full salon I can't double book them m, only one after another.

Overall: It's easy for me to book my appointment(s) with my hair stylist since she does not have a reception desk and is essentially a solo entrepreneur. It seems to work for her to have her clients book with this software. In the texting era this is a modern way to book on your own time.

Pros: Streamlined and updated version of other salon software i have used in the past. i love the clip board feature for moving appts.

Cons: the check out process is a little lengthy with all of the selections in different areas and not auto applying products to the stylist who performed the service. i with there was a "jump to weeks" option rather than counting out weeks when pre booking appts.

Pros: Booker does help us with booking appointments. Our clients really enjoy online booking, however i saw there is going to be an update in the next week. I will be curious to see how quickly they ruin what already works...

Cons: something is always wrong with the software. dropping credit cards, dropping appointments. they took away simple features and moved them to its new Frederick site. as a long time customer, we felt this move was unprofessional. you have to pay so much extra for something as simple as text or appointment reminders. (a feature that used to be FREE). the busiest Fridays, they will do site maintenance and you will be very embarrassed in front of your clients. happens way too much.

Pros: I do think the UI on the backend is easy and simple to use. I also like the ability to manage payroll, inventory, store CC securely to appointments/client profiles.

Cons: I am in the process of franchising my concept, Mylkbar, and am absolutely livid with the level of customer support and consistent lack of transparency. Coming from an enterprise software sales background, the companies I have worked for always were transparent with product roadmaps, glitches/bugs, and capabilities. Initially, Booker worked okay and we could live with the occasional kinks and glitches. Now, the issues are so bad that I spend 50% of my time dealing with Booker and am vetting other software that I may need to select to replace Booker. The primary concerns are as follows: 1) Poor integration with Clover. Do NOT GO ON BOOKER VERSION 2. It is not fully developed and has too many kinks. If you look at all of their enterprise, multi-location accounts (Drybar, Olive and June, Ten Over Ten, Blushington, etc) they are all on Version 1. Version 2 is riddled with glitches. We constantly have to hit the refresh button and clear the cache to ensure things run smoothly. That is NOT how cloud software is supposed to work. 2) Constant payment glitches. In the past month, we have over 10 instances with payment glitches. We have to then close out the transaction on the Clover and reconcile our books within Booker. This takes up an inordinate amount of time, frustrates my employees, and also costs me time and money if I have to get my bookkeeper involved. 3) Terrible UI for clients booking online. Clients can't select multiple services. They have to add a service to their cart, then go back to main page to select second service. This is also a MAJOR issue with group bookings, which account for a big chunk of our business. The group booking functionality in Version 2 is NONEXISTENT, therefore are phone rings ALL day with people asking how to book more than one person. 4) Version 2 is not supported in the Apple App Store. How did this even happen?! You introduce an app, which should be well vetted and readily available on your "newer" Version and then the app store declines it? Unreal. On top of this, Booker had a lot of Version 2 customers who had paid to develop/access the client facing app (like me) and just waited months with no response. 5) Terrible customer support. Booker's main clientele is the salon industry, yet customer support is not available on weekends?! What a joke. I was told support was available daily when I signed up. Expect 20 minute hold times for chat support. Then, Booker will create an incident ticket and act like you are the only client experiencing that issue and then never follow up. I have unresolved tickets still open from last July, 2017. 6) Total lack of transparency. I may decide to stick with Booker and pay for access to their APIor revert to Version 1 (which is so beyond ridiculous considering Version 2 *should* be better)... I have asked for details on the API and functionality, yet I have to upgrade my account FIRST and sign another contract?! At least the contracts are a 30 day back out... At least I am assuming that is the case. In short, I would not recommend Booker to anyone UNLESS they miraculously address these issues in the short term. My guess is that Booker is understaffed and underfunded. I think Booker bit off more than they could chew with Version 2. Just go and talk to any business using Booker (even those enterprise accounts) and they will happily share their experiences with you. Oh, and I have complained about all of the above to a Director of Product Development and their Director of Customer Support. After I got extremely angry and basically demanded a dedicated support rep, my voice is finally being *somewhat* heard, but I am still not satisfied. We just experienced another major payment glitch today. I am making my review public, so feel free to reach out to me via LinkedIn if you have questions.

Comments: If you can find a better price point go for it

Pros: nothing at this point, i came back with high expectations. Have been let down on every level, online chats don't even get back to you which results in loss of time and energy trying to get problem resolved.

Cons: they now currently run two versions in which they claimed would be merged into one, has not happened so basically your paying same as other version with far less features, such as customers being able to join waitlist online, or book two services together in one transaction, very annoying for customers as well as salon.

Pretty easy to use and I like the way it looks.

I also like being able to lock appointments to a specific person.

Cons: I wish there was a faster way to book groups or book a bunch of appointments at the same time under the same name. Maybe there's a way you can click an duplicated an appointment?

Overall: Being able to use the software form anywhere is a huge plus.

Pros: How easy it is to do everything, from booking appointments to using it to file your taxes. The offer free courses on every thing the system does and certain online courses for certain rolls your employees do in the salon.

Cons: System crashed too often. Reports could be more business savy. Memberships werent flexible. Take a while to completely understand the system. When viewing the schedule, for example, rooms verses staff brings a totally different picture and print out and can be confusing when first using this program.

Cons: Clumsy login that doesn't allow password to be saved, takes too much time to login in, requiring at least three letters of the last name to be typed in before offering options

the charges and fees are not what they told you when you signed up. No explanation on all the fees and charges. The bank statement does not agree with the monthly statement.

Comments: I have basically stayed with Booker because of the direct integration with Frederick.

Pros: I love that they have created many updates for this software over the last few months. It has been really nice not experiencing any lag or issues with the booking features like we were having just a few months ago. I love that you can choose how far in advance the confirmation emails are sent out and I really love that the clients can confirm the appointment through the email. Another AMAZING tool is that you can now see when a client is booking an appointment online that way you are not trying to compete with anyone online trying to book. I hated in the past where I would be booking a client at the desk and right when I went to book, it said that I was not able to. Come to find out when I refreshed the page it was because someone else had booked it online. It truly makes a huge difference with these little improvements that they made.

Cons: One thing at the moment that I am not liking about the software is that sometimes the confirmation emails do not send even when the emails box is checked, this also happens when I book re-occurring appointments for an entire year where these clients of all clients should receive all the emails. Another thing that gets frustrating from time to time is that the clients future appointments is not showing up on their account under the appropriate tab therefore some clients have not showed up for their appointment and we can't charge if they can prove they didn't see it online. I try to see if they have duplicate accounts as well but they do not. And lastly, every now and again Booker will give us booking issues while trying to book for any of our services, it will state that the appointment cannot book because no equipment is available however, I know that is not the case. That is frustrating because we have to then just create a block out on the schedule with the client's service along with their information but they don't receive any emails through the system when it is booked that way.

Overall: Overall, it is a great booking website and it is a very easy system to learn. We recently added a brand login through this company as we are adding additional sites and it has been a very easy process.

Pros: Booker works fairly well most of the time, but there are occasional glitches and every once in a while the system will crash, but that seems to have gotten better in time. User friendly and fairly intuitive

Cons: Booker's customer service has gone to waste. It used to be good. You could get someone on the phone who knew what they were doing and they'd solve your problems. A while back they started using a call center in god knows what country and they STINK! It's become impossible to get a hold of anyone who can solve problems. They don't respond to emails, or if they do, it's just an automated response that doesn't really address the issue.

Overall: It works, but I need decent customer service.

Pros: I love the online booking and e certificate sales. My staff has the option of viewing their schedule remotely and they also receive notifications of services which helps them know of their appointments. Clients also receive notifications which frees up my time in calling to confirm their appointments.

Cons: What I like least is when there is a glitch in the server and I am not able to book or take payments from guest.

Pros: I liked the notion of what they "sell" to you. not what they actually deliver. I guess I like that it's a cloud based system, which you can't say for Millennium.

Cons: Booker is going more towards a multi-industry platform & removed many of its spa related functionality. No longer can you create spa packages, for example.

Much of the customization they sell you on doesn't exist at all. It used to on their old platform, but new customers don't get to use that anymore, so your gift card site & the online booking site will look like a Kindergartner designed it in an extracurricular activity.

You don't have the ability to customize categories for your services/products. For example, if you do hydrotherapy, there isn't a category for things like vichy showers. You do have auto repair available though... so congrats.

If you're looking to have a smooth experience with onboarding, you'll be disappointed. The data "expert" we worked with missed his deadline by 4 weeks and then just disappeared. We had to start completely over and then the new "expert" imported the wrong data and we had to start over again. We worked with onboarding for almost 5 months and never got live.

There's no ecommerce capabilities, even though their web site promotes it and their sales people promote it. At this point, it's a flat out lie. Doesn't exist.

You have to work with a 3rd party for your POS system (Clover). We signed up for a special and were supposed to get 2 set ups for free, but they came back to us after we signed up and said "nope, sorry, we were wrong, you can only have one." And, then they sent us 2, except one was incompatible with Booker.

Overall: zero. only pain and anguish and wasted money. I can't even get the reps to respond to my emails about a refund. I would strongly recommend against using Booker.

Pros: All in one capabilities I liked that it had inventory, booking, and scheduling. The software is very useful.

Cons: The online booking was too complicated and the url was much too long. After 4 months of paying I could not get one booking.

Great for a very simple business but membership tracking and online booking is lacking

Pros: The interface is fairly simple and calendar driven. Automated credit card processing expecially for memberships is lacking.

Cons: Reporting is primitive. You often have to run and grab data from multiple reports to do simple things like get payroll/commission data. Many reports can't be printed without being chopped up into multiple pieces of paper. Membership tracking and the resetting of benefits isn't automated unless services match payments in a very structured way. Online booking is available and they give you two options. One option is too small to see on mobile and the other option requires registration which causes new clients to bounce off at a high rate. Booker is an old architecture with a front end web interface bolted on to make it look like a cloud option but the hybrid nature is quirky.

Cons: Specials can challenging to set up, there's no way to apply specials to just the subtotal of an order

Pros: This software is so easy to use and break down to new trainees! The keys on the side of the screen make it that much easier to learn and get going with your schedule!

Cons: Sometimes it freezes when there is a system update, it can be very inconvenient when you are checking out a client because it'll either freeze or go extremely slow, but it's very rare that this happens so no worries!

Overall: Everything! From easy booking and checking out to quick and accessible ease of the software, it¿s so easy and helpful especially in any beauty industry

Comments: Booker version 2 is no good! Aweful software, I would never recommend this!

Pros: It¿s base off a browser instead of your hard drive. There¿s nothing else positive to say about this product.

Cons: You cannot switch to version 1 from version 2. Plenty of open tickets, so bad that you manually have to do your own payroll because the point of sale credit card machine they tell you to get doesn¿t communicate well with the booker software. The point of sale credit card machine that they say only works with booker version 2 doesn¿t communicate well together. Make sure your internet is fast and have good frequency. Customer service is no help. I have had booker for 8 months and they still have not fixed these important problems.

They have 2 versions. They refused to let me switch to the version that would better suit my busines

Pros: The only thing that I did not have issues with was the training. The trainers are knowledgeable and very patient with trainees. The training is good, everything else (like meeting a business' needs, or customer support) not so much.

Cons: They have 2 versions. The older one will allow scheduling classes AND personal services AND do retail - perfect for my business! We do all of that! BUT... they assigned me to the newer version which will not allow scheduling of classes. More than half my business cannot be scheduled with this version... AND they refused to let me switch to the other version (even though that one is perfect & this one is useless to me). Now I need to shop for another scheduling software.

Overall: None really. Nothing that I couldn't have gotten anywhere else.

Great experience using Booker for my wellness center, user friendly, great features.

Pros: Customer details section, pop up notifications upon booking or check-in; email and SMS reminders to clients

Cons: defaults to home address when inputting phone number; no field to input middle name to distinguish between clients who might have the exact same first and last name; default categories for products don't quite fit our needs as a natural healthcare / wellness center.

Comments: Booker is a robust solution for online scheduling and taking payments too. In theory, Booker will save you loads of time since customers schedule and manage their own appointments. In reality, we spend too much time on the phone with Booker trying to work out quirks.

Pros: Admin backend is solid and reliable. Lots of options to customize. Too many at times since finding just the right setting can take 15-20 minutes or require a phone call to customer service.

Cons: Customer front end is weak and confusing. Booker does not allow certain booking options (CF2) to be used in iFrames. This forces you to send customers to a 3rd party website (not yours) to make appointments. Fixes and feature requests come slowly if at all. If you are interested in using Booker be sure you know what you are getting into before you commit. It is very difficult to get 100, 500, or thousands of customers to move to a new appointment system if you later decide Booker is not what you expected. Get used to what Booker looks like now and be okay with that for the long haul. Don't plan on being able to add a feature of even getting Booker to fix bugs. Booker will show you a long list of "fixes" and revision numbers of updated software. I have never known any of these updates to address a bug of concern we had with the SaaS. Customer requests are ignored and bugs are described as features. Yes, they really are! For example, in some places staff names are sorted by first name and in other places they are sorted by last name. This does make it feel like you are using different software products and will infuriate you at times. Different interfaces all work differently. In other words, they all feel like different products. We use the admin interface, the Booker iOS app, the Booker customer app, CF1, and Facebook app. That seems like lots of great options until you realize how disjointed and different they all are. You are not merely learning one software package, you really have to learn them all.

Booker for appointments is Great.

Comments: Appreciate your support both online and over the phone.

Pros: Appreciate how over the years Booker has been easy to use and reliable. Recently began using in conjunction with Booker and am very happy with the response to the confirmation texts.

Cons: Was told when I was deciding which software to use that Booker would integrate with Quickbooks and my data could be transferred everyday. Was not told that it was only a daily total that would transfer and after much work setting up all patients and POI we realized it would net be possible for us to use the POI. We now only use the appointment portion.

Pros: Booker does a fantastic job of combining many useful products into one very useful platform! Pros: Booker makes many of our tasks simple with automation features and a full suite of tools. We are very appreciative of the new feature of integrating Frederick into our suite. The fact that I can create a newsletter and send in less than 30 minutes is amazing. I no longer have to worry about creating and managing email lists for clients. Booker does an outstanding job of tracking sales and giving me real-time feedback. The fact that I can integrate Booker's features directly into my website, Facebook and other platforms is exceptional.

Cons: Scheduling for classes needs to be a simpler process. We have seen issues with clients being able to book if they are members. A client cannot book two spots for their kids (if they have more than one) with a single email address. We have asked for this feature to be worked on.

Comments: I've used this app at 2 different salons and have enjoyed it since day 1!

Pros: Not too complicated. There's a fix for almost everything. You can be alerted for every appointment made. Customer service is nice and helpful.

Cons: I wouldn't say there are many cons other than SOMETIMES the app times out and refuses to let you log on/ see your appointments. Most of the time it is very temporary though..

Comments: Would love to have a quick call with programmers to give quicks tips to make the online booking system the best by far.

Pros: Books couples massage requiring two therapist (this is a great feature and booker is one of the few that have). Super flexible GC system that allows the service , not the price of the service to show up (very important for spas).

Cons: No mobile options for people to purchase on phones. Also swiper/tablet options requires 5 steps to charge and close (not near as simplified as square). Online booking system is good, but could be vastly improved with one little coding tweak (it bases everything on the start of business day instead of appointments that are already booked, leaving gaps and missed appointments). I could explain this really quickly and booker would be the best by far, because you are the only one's that book couples massage.

Pros: I love that it's a complete system--handling my scheduling, client reminders, special offers, gift certificates, and reporting. And paired with the customer rep, it's an amazing tool for rebooking clients and filling open slots. I also love that the booker team takes our feedback, and continually improves the system. I have recommended booker to many of my cohorts and will continue to do so!

Cons: I've needed customer service a couple of times, and though available and responsive, they often aren't able to help and I am left to figure it out myself. I also wish the training event notices were much smaller and/or didn't cover up the application window. It's annoying when I'm trying to take payment or schedule a client. :-(

Pros: I love this system overall. It keeps so many parts of my business organized and presents a professional look to all of clients.

Cons: It's frustrating that there still isn't a way to integrate 2 locations. I have one set of staff but 2 different spas. I'd love a way to be able to make appointments for both locations that could keep track of the staff. Currently, I have had to create a "room" in my current system in order to make sure the staff is accounted for and do all the checkouts so as not to affect the accounting in my primary location. Hoping that could be a future add on someday.

Pros: It is great for when someone can book in the middle of the night for the following day. Clients say it is easy. So many great features, of which I can grow into.

Cons: Mobile and Desktop versions are not recognized by devices I believe. I had to have separate link in website because Mobile users were getting Desktop version, and then the font and graphics are too small. The Mobile version looks nothing like the desktop version. It is confusing. It is too hard for a non-programing type to get the versions to look good. POS, working with SubLyme, Integrity, and Trustwave all a major pain in the butt. For a small small business like me, there has to be something more like Square which is where I have gone back to!

Pros: Manage everything from appointments to employees and products. Great for any style of business from personal to resort!

Cons: The only issue I run into being a resort spa is not being able to room charge. Other than that I don't find anything wrong
