Pros I like that if I want to look at prior periods for a specific account, all I have to do is change the date while in the account and there it is. Cons Slow to upload data at certain times of day. This is not too big of a problem though, I just upload in the mornings and it seems to go much faster. Review Source KC Kay C. We have never regretted the decision to go with ART. Pros Ease of use, meets all internal and external audit requirements and the customer support is excellent! Cons There really isn't anything we don't like about ART. The one thing I would probably name is the number of "clicks" to move around within the product. Reason for choosing ART Many of the same features we were looking for and support but more reasonably priced. January 19, 2018 5.0 Pros This is a great software that not only provides a much needed visibility in accounting, but it also makes the process of accounting easier by matching balance settlements. That's my favorite part. Cons Sometimes you might stuck while navigating through activities at the beginning but once you get used to it, it becomes really straightforward and so helpful! Previewing an attachment you uploaded without having to download it first would be a big plus. Pros I like that I am able to go into ART and pull information in relation to reconciliations without having to bother staff for the information. ART allows for attachments to support the reconciliations and that support is critical to my auditing. Cons There are multiple areas where attachments can be added. February 10, 2023 5.0 Pros ART has helped our company organize and prepare our monthly account reconciliations. It has been able to do everything you would expect from account reconciliation software and has a great dashboard and reporting capabilities.But to me where Skystem really shines is their customer support! Whenever I have had a question I have received a quick, professional, friendly response that tells me exactly what I need! Cons Sometimes options I use infrequently can be a little difficult to find, but as mentioned above, I know if I go to customer support they will quickly get me where I need to go! July 2, 2018 4.0 Pros As a user I like how you can organize your accounts by who does the rec, what has been prepared and what still needs to be done, and it's easy to navigate. It also helps to find coding errors and accounts that have balances that otherwise you might miss. Cons At first it seemed very time consuming and it was very slow moving between pages. I have noticed a difference in that regard and it is much better. And, because I had so many accounts it seemed like I spent one whole day doing nothing but ART, but since I have learned to net some of my accounts together and I'm hoping this month will go very quickly. Pros ART requires individuals to be assigned accounts and then reminds them automatically of what needs to be done and when they are/were due. The system keeps clear delineation between periods so as not to confuse the situation. Cons ART has a number of what I would call "quirks". Some examples: 1.) On some screens, you can only look at one page (10 accounts) at a time, while others allow you to view up to 500 at a time. 2.) There are screens that list the accounts in numerically low to high, while others are in the order in which they were added or assigned . 3.) User Manuals do not cover everything. There needs to be a FAQ sheet for the odd situations. Reconcile in standard reconciliation forms and in multiple currencies. Reconcile multiple periods simultaneously. Utilize system algorithms to perform up to 35% fewer reconciliations each month. Electronic sign-off. Paperless review process. Transactional matching between data sets. Real-time dashboards to monitor status and exceptions, and more. Cons Limitation of size for uploading the file/attachment . You can upload max to max 15 mb file. It has saved time from the way our organization had been preparing reconciliations. Pros I like the ability to copy the previous months support and updating for current month. Cons I like the Embedded Excel feature, but sometimes it can be difficult to use. Normally it should save time but it can take additional time to use with adding supporting worksheets. I have been updating the Lead Sheet manually and then adding the Excel spread sheets to the support instead of copying the support worksheets to the Embedded Excel. Review Source HM Heather M. Again, good software but increasing speed should be a primary focus. Pros It is easy to use and fairly intuitive. The ability to net accounts in the rec helps save some time. Cons So slow. It has been very easy to use and implement. We have been able to automate a great number of our reconciliations and it has been a huge time saver. We love ART! Pros Easy to show reconciliation, easy to attach docs and comments. Overall great tool and gets us away from using Excel as we always have in the past. Also quick to be able to go back to prior periods and review outstanding issues. Cons Least is that the upgrades are done in the middle of the day when we are trying to use the system. Upgrades should always be done overnight when fewest users would be on. This could be my company's issue rather than the system, if it is then please disregard and everything is great. June 28, 2018 4.0 Pros We found that the customer service, overall style and setup of the website, and user experience were all fantastic. Cons Updated balances need to be manually performed by Corporate Offices, often we are trying to balance to an old figure and have to manually determine what is the correct balance.
