Ability to store data for a long period of time. It is easy to store and retrieve the data. Cons Reference manual does not have enough detail. Sometimes the it takes a long time to load the account balances and sometimes the processing will get hung and will only clear when program is exited and reopened. Review Source iP indu P. Pros ART has place where reconciliations support is saved and attached that make easy for reviewers job easy and eliminated lots of questions to recon prepares. So I have limited experience/knowledge with the ART system. Pros I really enjoy the import functionality. I will take the extra time to set up an excel sheet for each of my accounts to easily import my transactions to balance the account. and I say "extra time" but the less than one minute of extra prep time per account saves 2-3 minutes of time I would spend putting one transaction in at a time. July 2, 2018 4.0 Pros It records all the transactions from the Accounting software. No need to re-enter the data from one system into SkyStem. It is color coded to easily track the status of each account. Cons I'm still figuring things with SkyStem as I only started using it in June. I noticed though that it has too many options. For example, when you set up prepaids it walks you through the amortization schedule and calculates it out for you. Cons Sometimes the pie chart can be hard to read and select from. The system is very interactive and easy to complete the reconciliations online. Cons The system will always pause when information are refreshed. The ease of attaching support for variances, or invoices is fantastic! Cons When using this software at first was confusing on where to add descriptions for example the timing and the support. Cons Copying files, too many clicks to submit, not being able to see the total amount for each account (multiple OU's), slow, reconciliation page is hard to follow. February 23, 2018 4.0 Pros I like the pie chart feature to easily see what I have in each bucket and then the fact I can just click on the ones I want to see straight from the pie chart. I also like the amortization feature. Cons I don't like that I have to add a comment after my corporate reviewer sends an account back for correction before I can send it back to my preparer. It would make much more sense if the account just got kicked all the way back to the preparer and I just got the email notification. Review Source AM Ayushi M. I like the fact that you can see the review notes and you also receive an email with the review notes. Cons Recon page is too broken up between adjustments and support sections. Too many items to check off once you have completed the recon. One statement to certify should be sufficient. Also don't like the fact that you can't go back and edit adjustment items the next month. Pros The fact that we can have proof of all reviews as well as the retention, centralized storage, and ease of access to recons both current and in the past Cons Sometimes the steps to follow in completing the process are not real easy to remember or identify on the screen - but, the guidebook does have good instructions to assist you through the process. The system allows you to save permanent items which is great so that you do not have to re-type monthly. It shows you progress in reconciliations. Cons I feel that the save process takes a little while. It would be easier if you could enter all information and have it save instead of saving after each line item that you enter. Pros All of the reconcilements and backup documentation are organized by month making audits a breeze. I also like that you can verify that all balance sheet accounts have been reconciled and reviewed for a given month. Having the ability to attach supporting documents is very useful. Cons So far I have very limited activity with the software so I cannot comment on what I like least as I am still learning the system.
