There are dozens of pros and just a couple of cons. Pros Almost real-time data gives huge advantage. Software uses webhooks and if someone churns, I receive a notification almost realtime. Cons Custom tables are not available. Actually, I have never asked about this to their support. This might also depend on subscription plan you choose. It is so easy to track things like MRR, ARR, and churn. The tool is flexible so you can track over different time periods, your different product packages etc. Cons Sometimes you will find an inconsistency in numbers for your reports. This is an issue with really any tracking tool, but just make sure to keep alert is anything looks dramatically different than a previous week. January 31, 2019 4.0 Pros It allows you to get the data you otherwise won't be able to gather. We were able to determine MRR of our segments and prioritize where to hit to maximize our team effort. Cons It's challenging and lacking introductory tutorial - maye take a while until you get used to it, and even then you can't be 100% sure that you are getting everything out of it. Clean user interface Cons Not simple to integrate with other API’s. The process of insert a transaction is made through an add-on on google sheet, and it takes much time. When you fail entering a transaction, you have to delete the customer and enter all transactions history(annoying). Recently they increase dramatically their pricing, now is based in your company’s MRR, which means that is an expensive tool if you are increasing your sales. Review Source BG Bradley G. Pros Automates the creation of gorgeous "quick-glance" charts. Essential to our executive team to keep tabs on regular business operations Tracks a range of metrics -- from user based to financial tracking Cons The primary complaint from our team is that it does not offer a 100% integration with Stripe. As a marketer, it's imperative that I know what bottom-line impact our campaigns are having—and ChartMogul makes it simple for me to get that data. Cons From my personal perspective, there's nothing I don't like about the software. It would be great to be able to include expense data in there so we can track metrics like our CAC, etc. But aside from that, it's great. The lowest tier is free and just offers everything you could ask for as a solo developer. Cons None so far. The tool works as expected and offers a good deal of customisation. Reason for choosing ChartMogul ChartMogul offers so much more. CTO Real Estate Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Helps to Visualize your Subscription Revenue Data" March 22, 2021 5.0 We are extremely pleased with ChartMogul, and it has helped us to organize our monthly reporting on key metrics. Pros It easily charts out all of your data from a subscription billing platform, in our case Recurly. Although Recurly has some charts and statistics, ChartMogul is much more useful and friendly to use. We also had a core problem with our different subscription plans is that they are divided into different groups based on which country we are serving. ChartMogul made it extremely easy to set up and configure these groups to now be able to visualize the data between our different markets that we serve. Cons When we started using it, ChartMogul didn't have a native integration with QuickBooks. We were using it for our Recurly subscriptions, but we were still doing some invoicing through QuickBooks that wasn't subscription based, so it still doesn't give a complete picture of our monthly income. It would be nice to integrate QuickBooks invoices even if it is not subscription-based income. I see now that it is being offered through a partner that charges extra for this integration. The one time the webapp wasn’t loading, the customer support team was very responsive and really helpful. Within a few clicks, we were instantly provided with critical data we needed to run our business. Obviously, the data is limited to the payment processing data, but if you're building your SaaS business and are utilizing one of their primary integrations then this is most of the data you'll need to see the health of your operations.
