### "My preferred tool for creating pop-ups that sell"

I've tried various tools for Pop ups, but my favorite is Getsitecontrol. Quick and easy integration via API and Zapier, achieve high CTR, full control when and where (on which page) to display the banner. I can create banners for different devices - desktop, mobile

Pros

I have been using Getsitecontrol for the past 5 years. What I like is the pre-made design templates that save me time. With a well made pop-up I achieve a CTR of over 45%, which for a marketing channel is more than an excellent result. The integration with Zapier and MailerLite saves me hours of work.

Cons

I don't have full control over the size of the banners. I would like to be able to set the size of the banner and images manually. I would recommend a drag-and-drop editor so I don't have to use CSS.

Super positive. I really have nothing negative to say other than that I wish their name was easier to say because when I try to recommend it to friends they just say "get site what?". Then we have a discussion about "yeah it's a weird name but the service is great".

Pros

I was really surprised- it's as good as Klaviyo for my purposes at a tenth of the cost. I run a multi-channel e-commerce company and I already have email automations for orders, new customers, etc, so I really just needed a proper newsletter and list management platform. Klaviyo was overkill for this limited scope, but Getsitecontrol was exactly what I need. Another great point is the customer service- when I first joined it was lacking a couple features but they actually listened to my feedback and added them! There honestly wasn't even a learning curve- it was totally simple.

Cons

At first it was lacking an important feature, but then that feature was added shortly after. I guess the only drawback is that you have to pay per email but it's a great value and not bad at all.

Good at first then poor. Widgets don’t work. Can’t simply collect user data straight on my website without them

Pros

I really liked how easy it was to produce a newsletter and the low cost of GSC but I’m more finding the widgets to collect user days on my website don’t work and in being forced to use another mailing list provider.

Cons

Pros

I use the automation builder daily (which is why i have yet to look for another solution) because i love how easy it is to create entire email workflows as users interact with your website; and then they run completely hands-free. Tagging/segmentation options are solid, much better than i thought would be available at this price point. As i sit here on the couch half checking out, i am glad that i can simply remember that the automations are working quietly in the background and i don’t have to worry about them. It’s simple. It works.

Cons

There is an abundance of features and the first two weeks were overwhelming. There are a few areas of the ui that will slow down when you have larger lists being processed. While minor, every login requires you to enter a confirmation code; and while i get why it needs to exist, it becomes really frustrating after a while.

I've been using the email popup for years. It works for my needs. The design fits in perfectly with my business site. I tried a few options but Getsitecontrol was no brainer. And the pricing is affordable for small businesses with low budgets.

Pros

It's a simple and easy email marketing tool. No steep learning curve. You won't waste time setting it up. My contacts are easy to manage.

Cons

Nothing to complain. Maybe add more email broadcast templates. Overall they are doing everything right for my site.

It’s been a great experience overall, especially for SMBs that need to start capturing leads and boosting conversions without a massive headache. The visual editor gives you plenty of room to play around with designs, and it feels like a really reliable "all-in-one" starter kit for inbound marketing. It’s not perfect on the analytics side, but for actually building and launching banners, it’s a win.

Pros

The best part about Getsitecontrol is how low the barrier to entry is. It’s incredibly easy to pick up, and the integration options are a huge plus. We specifically relied on the Zapier integration, which made it painless to pipe our data into the other platforms we use. It basically saves you from having to bug a developer every time you want to connect a new tool.

Cons

The reporting side of things definitely feels like the platform's weak spot. It lacks a "big picture" dashboard, so you can't really see how everything is performing as a whole at a glance. We actually ended up having to manually copy stats for every single banner into a separate spreadsheet just to get a decent overview of our performance. I'd love to see more flexibility in how we can view and export that data.

Awesome app to get email subs. Was able to get 30% sign up rates on some campaigns which is wild. Great product.

Pros

Easy to use. Premade design templates were good. Simple UI. Really effective got some great conversion rates.

Cons

Some design templates were finnicky and wouldnt work quite right when uploading specific images. Also desktop vs mobile made it a little wonky. Make the "x" button a bit easier to see

### "Great suite of website widgets to increase your visitor engagement, leads and conversions"

This is a good collection of useful widgets that you can add to your site for getting the attention of your visitors, showing them around and converting them into email subscribers or customers. Pretty cool, although you don't want to overdo it by adding too many widgets to too many pages. Less is more, you don't want to overdo it. The interface is smooth and makes it pretty easy to get your campaigns started. I found the documentation to be clear and didn't run into issues. This is a tool that's frequently updated. That's also important to me.

Pros

You get a lot of different tools that you can play with on your site. Adding them is easy and there's enough customization possible. The different tools look great out of the box, so you won't really need too many changes (although you can change some things). There are some advanced settings as well, so this is great for beginners and more advanced marketers and site owners.

Cons

I didn't run into issues when testing this. There are a few widgets where I'd love to have a bit more control over the look and feel, but I'm okay with that. It's not the end of the world.

One of the best user research and feedback tool, sporting popups, mats, subscription widgets, surveys, polls and more. It also has lots of targeting features based on timing, user actions or user events. A great tool, easy to use, zero-footprint and easy to set up.

Cons

The free tier is now gone. It used to have a decent number of users/views to make it a good tool for beginner marketers.

The price for what you get in return. Other than depending on just google analytics. I love what you can do. You can customize the widgets to almost any way you can imagine. I love the analytics too. You can really see where your traffic is coming from and really judge if a campaign is really working.

GetSiteControl has been an easy to use tool that has lightened the workload on our IT team and has made our marketing team more efficient. Since it's implementation, we've been able to increase our conversion rates on various services.

Pros

Everything about site control is intuitive and it made implementation extremely fast. We set it up across three different websites and had our marketing team fully engaged and creating widgets in less than an hour.

Cons

There's no way to cosmetically customize the various widgets outside of what's available in the control panel. If we had more styling controls, we would be able to make even greater use of it.

I was able to set up a custom pop up quickly on my client's site so they could effectively communicate a last-minute message.

Pros

I like that this is easy to set up and use. It only took about ten minutes for me to set everything up on my WordPress site and have my banner in place.

Cons

There isn't a lot of customization. There were also a few coding issues that took a little bit more manual time than I would have liked.
