August 25, 2024 5.0 We've been using Time Clock MTS for several years now and have not had any problems. It has really made payroll much easier. Also,,Simple for our staff to use. I like to print it out and have them sign the printed copy as proof that they verified their hours are correct. Overall happy with it. Pros It is reliable and easy to use. It allows for any corrections that need to be made. I like that it tracks all punches in and all punches out taken and gives you a summary. It has a lot of other features I'm not currently utilizing. Pros I really like how user friendly this software is to use. It is also very easy to access to see what hours have been worked by each employee. Cons Sometimes when the computer has a glitch, the software automatically clocks the employee out without warning. The only way to know if this happens is to look up the hours worked. Wish we had gone to another software package years ago. Pros It does allow you to clock in and out and export the data to excel like all other products on the market. Cons We've had continual problems with registration errors, paid for support that was unable to help resolve the problems we had and eventually went with another application. For our purposes as a small business though, employees can easily clock in and out, and reports are easy to generate come payroll time. Cons There are a few minor tweaks I would love to see fixed. I have used various different time clock software and find this one far superior to other more expensive time-keeping software. Cons I have yet to find any cons, and we have used this for years. It put a stop to illegible hand-written timesheets, Wite-Out and staff complaints! Pros Time Clock MTS has been a perfect addition for our small business. We use QB payroll, so don't use some of the MTS options, but our daycare director has all all the ease of use, admin control and options (and then some!) that she needs on our staff end to generate a perfect one-page report for me to run our QB payroll. It is very user-friendly and intuitive so there's fast admin training without calls and questions later. At the time of purchase, my boss and then-director wanted to buy a traditional time clock for nearly four times the money - I've never regretted pushing them this direction. They loved the price, I loved the software and staff loves two quick taps on our touch screen as they pass by. No hassle, storage and expense of cards. More reports than we've even looked at and some great options - like leaving messages for individual staff, time-off requests/approvals and the options for setting up holidays! . Thank you Time Clock MTS for our perfect solution and ongoing support! Cons I can't think of anything... we liked it from the beginning and it's always met our needs! Whenever I have had an issue the support via email has been quick and very helpful. I would highly recommend this system to any small business. Pros Saves valuable time on payroll days, eliminates paper time cards & ribbons as used with old school time clock systems. User friendly and a good value. With Time Clock MTS you pay for your software version & email support & upgrades for 1 year. Then to continue technical support you can pay just per year if you have the Network version or get another year of support for free by posting an honest review. Many options - you can keep track of vacation and sick time, eliminate employee's from punching in early etc. Cons We wish the schedule options for employee's was expanded. For example we have employee's come in at a different time on the weekend and we also try to eliminate employee's from punching in too early. The current system lets you chose a start and an end time for an employee schedule but it does not give you the option to customize it per weekday. Review Source HC Howard C. Our employees enjoy using this software because they can easily track their hours and print their timesheets. I highly recommend this software, especially for small businesses. Pros What I like most about this software is its user-friendly interface, making it a smooth and easy process for my employees to clock in and out of work. The Time Clock MTS can also track vacation and paid time off, which is very effecient and cost-effective. Cons The only thing that I had an issue with was connecting our computers to the database. August 3, 2016 4.0 Replaced a punch timeclock that was old and on its last leg. TimeClockMTS met the requirements with fingerprint scanner support (also supports camera photo too) to prevent buddy clocking where one employee would clock in/out for another employee. Some features you just need to try out to better understand what it does or how it works. The company does a good job of updating the software with newer versions to address new labor laws (for example the recent new sick time law in California) and/or new features or bug fixes. Overall, it works nicely at a reasonable price. Pros Fingerprint scanner and camera supported to prevent buddy clocking. Cons The auto breaks was a bit confusing and we had to try it out over a few weeks to understand and configure it to our needs. Review Source GM Gayle M. The payroll reports are always accurate. We've used them for almost a decade. We have 20 employees that use it. Clocking in on your desktop makes it easy since they have to sign onto their computer each morning anyhow. We needed something immediately, and TimeClock worked great. Cons Setting up the vacation and sick accural section to coincide with our current setup isn't as easy because it isn't compatiable. VP Used the software for: ### "Really Good Time Clock, But Lacking Some Features" June 22, 2015 3.0 We started using the desktop version of the Time Clock about 2 Years ago. We switched to the online version because the desktop version had some limitations. We really appreciate the ability to contact support via email, but since we are in America there is not a number to call, which is kind of a pain. We really would love to see some sort of Smart Phone App or Mobile friendly website so people can use there phones to log in (We use it but it isnt mobile friendly) Other than that the new features (Holiday and Salary) has been a long time coming. With the database stored on our network, employees can clock in from multiple locations without needing to stand in line. Its ability to export information to excel also makes time reporting that much easier to use and manipulate. After researching for a new system to replace our old and outdated one, TimeClock MTS and its free 30 day installation was an easy choice and has streamlined our time management process.
