The team loves using it, this is an excellent tool for staying in communication. Their customer service is superb, they are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Pros It has a lot of features...easy to use. For us, we have a custom setup for job listings (as we are recruiters). It's easy to clone jobs and work off of a previous role's description. Cons We have a custom setup for job listings (not what the product is intended for). It's a little labor intensive to add the jobs, but the interface is clean and simple for doing so. Those who have used the platform have been very happy with it. The Boomity team seems relatively small but they go far and beyond what is expected to accommodate their client’s needs. Pros We've recommended Boomity to our clients in the shipping industry, leisure and travel industry and entertainment industry. The other options –while good–didn't have the flexibility for customization our clients need. On-boarding is hassle free with their set-up and training being part of the package. The ability to access the Boomity team when needed is a real plus. The CMS for client web pages is great for us as we do no programming. The portal works well, with no learning curve, as it is social and tends to get utilized quit a bit. Having a resource library built in is of great benefit for content sharing internally and externally Cons The platform has a lot of features. Some of the features provide basic functionality. For example the email is good for newsletters, announcements, invitations etc. However, not a solution that goes deep into email marketing . The platform tends to provide an excellent cross-section of required functionality but is not "best of breed" within each area. But that may be the beauty of the Boomity. It does a great job of providing what is most needed and delivered in a easy to use logical manner. If you want more, the company is capable of developing exactly what you want.
