### "It's OK"

My overall experience is that yes it does work but it doesn't have all the functionality that my company needs. In general, we are looking for a product that will do more for us than KeepTruckin.

Pros

The thing I like most about KeepTruckin is the ease of use for drivers. It is a simple app on a smartphone.

Cons

The thing I like least about the KeepTruckin software is the admin side of things. It is not easy to find reports, the system frequently stops responding or fails to load at all. It is not always accurate with the dates and times.

Cons

There is zero movement allowance before the ELD automatically goes into driving mode. All other devices I have used give you either a 1 mile distance or a MPH limit before the device goes into driving mode. Having zero allowance has caused me to incur a violation and screw up my 10 hr break.

### "Keep smiling with Keep Truckin"

From the beginning, I was a newbie with all things trucking, and the folks at KT were patient and positive. I appreciate them every time I call. When my drivers give me an alert, I can get answers. When I need fuel reports for IFTA, when I need mileage per state… it’s at my fingertips. Thank you KT

The absolute minimum requirement is that help is available. I’ve never had an issue that we were not able to resolve thanks to the great tech support at Keep Truckin

Cons

We have had issues with the WiFi hotspot usage a few times, but the great folks at Keep Truckin saved the day

### "The best software I never use "

It has allowed me to refocus my route tracking and better assist my driving partners in case of traffic jams and give them better directions to quickly complete errands and trips.

Pros

The application is great for route tracking and especially when it comes to doing a route review it is great. I like more its ease of deployment and it doesn't need a high internet speed to work.

Cons

The only drawback is that the application has a latency in some areas less covered by the internet network but I think it's not really the fault of the application but the internet

It has been very exceptional. From ease of installation to daily use. A fantastic product.

Pros

All the different features. Holds a lot of the info I need to run my business.

Cons

I wish the report exporting was more compatible with Apple products. I would like to be able to just run and download my reports for email. Providing a link to the report can be very cumbersome for some users.

### "Terrible customer service and lies "

Ordered equipment for expanding fleet had to pay upfront promise was shiped but never was had then tried to charge us for shipping when we canceled and didn't want to refund us money

Software was ok but service was non existence you get trapped in their phone system they at one time laughed at me

I was most unhappy with customer service with Motive. They aren't as able to help as you would think. Also, I tried to cancel with a representative and was still charged two more times.

Pros

I liked the ease of use of Motive. I was able to connect it myself and do everything online myself.

Cons

The ability to edit my time Motive was lackluster. Even the administrator does not have the full ability to get in there and make edits. Also, Motive's phone app has a few kinks to work out.

### "Eld's and Cameras"

The cameras had a terrible failure rate last year. We replaced at least 60% of the units, which made the process of selling a new tech to the drivers that much harder. With all the reliability issues we missed a capture event that was critical because the camera was non operational at the time of the accident

Pros

The Eld's were easy to use but could be more instructive when problems arise. It's very time consuming to figure out problems with all the other issues that are taking up my time.

Cons

It needs to be more driver friendly, some drivers had a hard time grasping the use. Most of my drivers were older and not as tech savvy as a 20 something would be and that caused issues

Everyone I speak to is extremely helpful and knows the product well themselves and its capabilities.

Pros

Set up is easy and the customer service agents are absolutely beyond patient and helpful, always, at all hours. If the person you are speaking with is not sure they have the best answer they find out the best answer before you are off the call.

Cons

I need a user guide I could study to see if there are even more things I can use the software for that I do not know about since I was not here when the software was purchased.

I would be happier with Motive if they didn’t call me every week trying to sell me more products

ELD works (previous product did not). Functions as it should most of the time

Cons

ELD has been operating slower and slower since I first began using it 4 years ago. A lot of time is wasted waiting for the ELD to function

### "ELD for a newbie"

Pros

As someone who had no prior knowledge to the transportation industry this has been the easiest way to learn. The customer service is unmatched. I’ve called at 3am for help because I did something wrong and at 8pm. Without fail I have always been able to speak with a real life individual who has helped me immensely and also walked me through the system. I have recommended KeepTruckin dozens of times because of all that listed above. I won’t ever go with another company so long as they keep this kind of service!

Cons

To be honest there aren’t very many things wrong with this software. Usually the issue I have come across have been user error rather than interface.

### "Proceed with eyes open"

My overall experience with KT is OK. I think the pricing is quite high and the selections are limited. The only way to get a fair price is to sign a three-year contract and that seems unreasonable. We don't mind paying the $40 per month but to pay that and the $150 when ordering an ELD is too much. There should be another level of pricing in there somewhere.

Pros

The software works very well and when there are issues, the support personnel are outstanding. I can't say enough positive things about the support staff. Getting drivers on and off the ELDs usually goes very well, also, and instigating new vehicles also flows pretty well. We also take advantage of the Electronic Logbook option for drivers who log but are not required to have ELDs. That is a very positive option for us.

Cons

Navigating the dashboard is cumbersome. I primarily monitor logs so I would like a quicker way to get to those screens.

Pros

Drivers prefer Motive! It is easy to use for both drivers and staff!

Can't ship new equipment if there is a problem but can still take on new business makes no sense

Pros

Easy to use and accurate can buy extra equipment to run or use app on phone

Cons

None everything works well as long as it doesn't break then they take a couple of months to send replacement equipment and tell you it will be shipped immediately

I have been happy with Motive, I feel like I am still learning Motive and the trucking industry rules/regulations.

Pros

Easy way to retrieve data in the reports area.

Cons

Updating a driver's log can be a bit cumbersome. Our driver's do not always sing out when they get back (they think they need to wait until midnight (end of work day). Then they may not drive for a few days so Motive informs me of the Manner Errors. Driver's get frustrated that they need to go sign logs, when they have not driven.
