They want to be an international company, but only in their time zone. Pros When it works... to often when experiencing an issue or need help with a how-to issue, support is nowhere to be found. Cons NO SUPPORT! I have an equipment rental business and have been down all day with a "You are already signed in " error. I'm not signed in anywhere else and there is no way to end all sessions if one got hung. Unacceptable! I have customers who want to book, and now I'm having to do everything manually. I've tried writing customer support but have gotten 0 responses. They have no support number to call or anything... so I'm screwed. They're based in the Netherlands, so either they are too busy getting high or sleeping. If you run an international company, you MUST provide 24-hour support. I dislike writing negative reviews and can understand technical issues, but you must at least support the time zones in which you're trying to do business. Looking for alternatives... January 29, 2026 4.0 I have implemented Booqable booking systems now in two schools i work in, and everybody praises how easy it is to make reservations! Overall Booqable has helped our school to finally start keeping track of all the equipment that is being given out to students. Before that we were using google spreadsheets and it was a nightmare. Finally we are able to track gear reliably. Pros Booqable staff are very communicative and usually respond almost right away! Usually when we suggest some features, they actually look into it! Their user interface is very self explanitory and easy to use/understand. The booking page / web builder is amazing, and offers plenty of room for customisation. Cons What bothers us as a non-profit org. is that booqable recently has moved some subscription plan features around, and the cheapest subscription plan covers only one staff member. For us (film school) it is not very practical (we have 2 staff members responsible for the equipment), and also, the option to bundle inventory items into kits (bundles) is not available, witch can be a very inefficient way to handle film equipment. There have been some times booqable gliches out in the far past (few years ago), but not recently. Ofcourse there always are some little ergonomic things in the interface that could be improved, like the option to choose what the bookings calendar shows first, or a "x" button that clears the search bar in calendar bookings view (that would help to speed up the workflow), but those are nitpicks. My website looks good and everyone I show it to has been impressed so far. Pros The step by step setup process was very helpful to get started with booqable’s service. Booqable offers a lot when it comes to helping start a bike rental business but understanding where each setting is can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. The 14 step setup guide made it a lot simpler and helped me know how close I was to completing my website and how much further away I was from having something that was ready for launch. Also, the Fin AI chatbot assistant was incredibly helpful. That thing was able to answer 99% of the questions I had. Cons When it comes to making “pages” this was my biggest headache. I don’t like that I have to make a separate template for each new page. I wanted to create a whole section of bicycle routes and in order to make a new page, at least this is the only way I’ve been able to figure out how to resolve this, I would have to make a new template for every new page I made. I wanted just one template I could apply to all of my bike route pages. But that would never work. It would just fill in the page with information from another template. It was very frustrating. Loading in inventory and photos took me a weekend. After that it mostly stays out of the way, which is what I want from software. Nothing has ever broken in a way that affected a client's event, and that matters more than anything else in weddings. Easily worth what I pay for it. Pros Everything is built around dates, so it tracks when an item goes out and when it comes back. That's exactly how my arches and centerpieces move. I was running a spreadsheet next to a calendar before this and constantly second-guessing whether I could take a second wedding on the same weekend. Availability tracking is the part I'd hate to lose. Quantities update as orders come in, so I'm not double-booking the same centerpieces. Building packages out of individual pieces helps too, since most of my bookings are a bundle rather than one item. The client-facing side looks clean without much effort. People can browse, pick dates, and pay a deposit online, which killed a lot of the back and forth I used to do over email and Instagram. Support has been quick every time I've needed them. It presents a very professional image for our company while saving us a significant amount of administrative work. Cons I'd like to see more flexibility in checkout validation and business rules. For example, businesses like ours that are restricted to in-state deliveries should be able to automatically prevent customers from completing reservations outside their service area. More customizable checkout logic would make an already great platform even better.
