My website looks good and everyone I show it to has been impressed so far. Pros The step by step setup process was very helpful to get started with booqable’s service. Booqable offers a lot when it comes to helping start a bike rental business but understanding where each setting is can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. The 14 step setup guide made it a lot simpler and helped me know how close I was to completing my website and how much further away I was from having something that was ready for launch. Also, the Fin AI chatbot assistant was incredibly helpful. That thing was able to answer 99% of the questions I had. Cons When it comes to making “pages” this was my biggest headache. I don’t like that I have to make a separate template for each new page. I wanted to create a whole section of bicycle routes and in order to make a new page, at least this is the only way I’ve been able to figure out how to resolve this, I would have to make a new template for every new page I made. I wanted just one template I could apply to all of my bike route pages. But that would never work. It would just fill in the page with information from another template. It was very frustrating. Eventually I just gave in and started making a bunch of templates. August 6, 2025 5.0 Overall, our booking and inventory management experience since adopting Booqable has been amazing, and we are glad to recommend the platform. Pros Booqable is a great digital Rental Management System in that, since we adopted it we have never had any occasion to mix up customer orders, because it adequately supports our inventory management. Although we struggled with the cost at the beginning, we overtime have realised that its value for money. On customer support from our own experience, Booqable is usually very responsive to queries and very quick to resolve all the issues we have raised. Booqable has so many helpful features, that help streamline workflows, while resolving and bug issues promptly. More importantly, Booqable offers a 2-factor authentication signing for security of the account, and is flexible in that that they are always open to consider any iterations or improvement we request for. Cons We would like to be able to share invoices with clients, preferably via WhatsApp and or Email straight from the platform, rather than having to download them before doing so. The creation of blogs and pages on the storefront and website is difficult. Add more payment options other than PayPal and Stripe, especially for countries like Nigeria. Edit the report to show honoured invoices and not to show cancelled invoices, or at least be able to decide the options. We have compared some tools but Booqable is the best if you consider price/quality for our scale. Pros We use Booqable for our audiovisual equipment at our university college. We think the software is very user-friendly for both us and our students. It is also very flexible within reservations, the application is very well thought through. Support is always quick to answer. Cons Some minor features are missing, such as being able to sort data on 'picked-up', even though the status 'picked-up' exists and you cannot download an invoice but need a work-around. But I've been able to put this forward to the developers because they appreciate feedback to be able to improve the software. We've used it for about three years now, and it's been a wonderful experience. Again, I cannot recommend it enough. Pros Booqable has single-handedly allowed us to run inventory for a communiyt media center with an all-volunteer staff. Without booqable, we'd be dead in the water Cons I wish we could get analytics reports once a year for our grant writing WITHOUT having to upgrade to a service with twice the cost. As a nonprofit reservation analytics are super improtant for our donors and supporters. For now we upgrade for one month - generate our reports - and then downgrade the next month. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to start a rental business. Pros Booqable has a very user friendly platform that allows for a very straight forward experience to run my party rental business. Any time I have an inquiry, their customer service team responds back within the same day. They regularly update me via email all of the new features they have added to their services as well bug fixes. Booqable is very useful to me to maintain and manage my inventory for the multiple bookings I receive almost every day. Cons I would like to see more customization options for website design as it can be limited at times. But I am confident with the increasing updates that this will be possible in the near future. I've contacted them on multiple occasions and every time the response has been clear, useful and quick. Cons There are some things I'd like to see improved, I'm probably using the software in a slightly different way from how it was designed (I'd like more control over how pictures appear in bundles, you can do it with individual products but less control on bundles); however, I feel those issues will likely be resolved with an update at some point. Pros As a new rental business, choosing the right software felt like a big decision and Booqable has been a strong choice from day one based on features that my business need, ease of use and excellent customer service overall for what you get it is excellent value for money and they kindlt offer a 14 day free trial. It’s clear, well-structured, and gives you everything you need to get up and running professionally without needing a tech background. The booking flow, inventory tracking, payments, and automated emails are all easy to set up and make the business feel established from the start. The system scales well, so even as a new business, it feels like we’re building on solid foundations rather than something we’ll outgrow quickly. Cons There’s a small learning curve during the initial setup, but after a few hours it becomes very straightforward to use, particularly when setting up bundles and pricing rules. It's a great thing to reply to a text message pointing a customer to the website knowing all the questions can be self-served by using the Booqable on-line store Cons The small, Medium, Large pricing. I understand the variety needs to be created. Just because I'm a one person business doesn't mean my ordering needs for customer fields are different than a big business. In many cases, likely out needs are greater because we do not have dedicated resources to application development. The app is also user-friendly and convenient to work with. The customer service is excellent—they go above and beyond to resolve any issue you may have. The only downside, in my opinion, is that the basic plan does not allow you to create discount codes. Pros Easy to work with, great customer service. The option for instant payouts is also a very nice feature. Support is amazing and their entire system has made my business more efficient and organized Pros This booking platform is outstanding—intuitive and easy to use in every way, while still offering powerful advanced features. Support has been excellent as well: the chatbot helps me find most answers quickly, and when I need a real person, live support responds fast and resolves my questions right away. Cons the option to automatically send a receipt or order confirmation when someone makes a payment on a manual payment request. Also, it would be great if it were simpler to set up and manage deposits as down payments rather than security deposits.
