### "If you can dream it, you can build it! "

The customer service Onspring provides is unmatched! They are quick to help troubleshoot and take my enhancement requests into consideration for future releases.

Pros

Onspring is much more than a GRC automation tool - it honestly can help you automate any manual business process. The sky is the limit with what can be created, with ease and intuitiveness. System administration requires some training, but the learning curve is minimal given the no-code platform. The end user experience far exceeds other tools our company has used. So many areas in the company are coming up with new use cases; it's really exciting to be a part of!

Cons

I don't have any negative feedback regarding Onspring. Perhaps they could expand their platform team to be able to implement new products/enhancements faster.

We love it. Our company heavily utilizes the platform and are always looking at how we can continue to grow.

Pros

Fantastic customer support. We always get a response within 24 hours. Ease of use to manage the platform and the training to learn the platform is very in depth.

Cons

The system tends to slow down a bit at the end of the month into the first couple days of the next month, because everyone is trying to run their monthly reports. However, I know this is something they are working to address.

Love it. It’s made our lives so much better. We’re no longer only documenting to actually having time to mitigate findings.

Pros

Love the platform. It’s versatile enough to allow it to be flexible. This allows the org to manipulate data input and reporting.

Cons

Its best feature is what limits it. Programming is easy. But because everything is field and app driven it is limited in some functions.

Great conference overall. The speakers were great, informtion and product knowledge from the staff was excellent.

Pros

Use cases and support information, and speakers. The AI information and roadmap was useful for us to strategicly plan.

Cons

Limited parking options. Valet parking only at the hotel and onlynpublic parking garages in the immediate area.

My overall experience has been very positive. My customer success manager is very attentive and ensures our needs are met.

Pros

I like the fact that we can automate business processes across our firm. We are able to manage compliance, risk but tap into other opportunities for automation.

Cons

The complexity of configuring the system can be a little overwhelming, however, Onspring is really good with ensuring there is adequate training available to support end users.

### "Highly critical Onspring review "

I am enjoying it and finding value. We were able to automate much of our evidence collection during our most recent SOC 2 type 2 assessment period. I expected the platform to be too simple since it's primarily a no-code environment but am surprised by what we have been able to accomplish.

Pros

I like the ease of use and while I am comfortable programming, the no-code approach makes it much easier to collaborate with project managers and other associates who may happen to be less technical.

Cons

If I had to say something, I would have preferred to have the community resources available within either the production or dev instance rather than tracking 3 passwords but it's not that big of a deal.

Price for Onspring was far cheaper compared to Bitsight.

### "I recommend Onspring to EVERYONE"

As a System Admin who builds completely organic solutions for a variety of teams, Onspring has been able to solve an array of efficiency gaps in our project management processes, allowing us to employ thought-based automation, without losing the human driven elements.

Pros

The product is not limited to just GRC/TPRM - Onspring can be used to replace many processes that currently use multiple programs such as Excel, Access, Outlook, OneNote, etc. and connect those processes into one centralized location.

Cons

The inability for some features to "interact" with non-users. We have a number of stakeholders that would benefit from the ability to approve/reject items via workflow, or receive report attachments but do not need an Onspring license due to their extremely limited need to access the system.

Onspring has been super easy to work with and learn as a new Onspring user. My prior company utilized a different platform and I came in right as we rolled Onspring out and it was very user friendly and easy to learn.

Pros

I love the customization and automation that Onspring has allowed.

Cons

The selected API for Black Kite. I love the integration but would love to see different information being pulled. We currently have an enhancement request out with the wish list. Examples: RSI, DBI information and the ability to pull in focus tags.

Pros

The flexibility that allows us users to bring our visions to life. We really like how we can design specifically what we are looking for. We recently used OnSpring for our CMMC self assessments for the first time, and it has shown to be way better and faster on our end. The community is also amazing!

Cons

During our CMMC self assessments, we require practice owners to submit evidence, which are primarily screenshots. in order to view these, we have to download those images instead of it popping up in OnSpring.

### "Highly customizable BPA and GRC tool"

I brought Onspring to three companies to help me start NIST CSF, RMF, and SCRM and NIST privacy programs from scratch. At one company, I used it to satisfy GDPR data requests. This platform, for me, is the best balance of customization and built-in capability.

Pros

The Onspring user interface is remarkably easy to intuit. The admin interface is also easy to navigate. Built-in apps require little customization. Original functionality is straightforward to design. Security controls (including retention) is perfect. Most importantly, the distance between licensing it and using it is very short, depending on your use case. For traditional GRC functions, you can get started almost as soon as your tenant is provisioned.

Cons

I feel that there is more "measurement" than "metrics" DEFAULT capability in Onspring. For instance, it can count the number of incidents you have each month, but it can't easily give you a single trending value (thumbs up or thumbs down, for instance) based on those measurements. The process to add values to lists is cumbersome when needing to add large amounts of data.

### "Straightforward and flexible"

Pros

The licensing model is simple and straightforward that allows for post-deployment flexibility and growth. This is very valuable in the SaaS space, as it becomes increasingly more complex. It comes with a lot of functionality built out of the box, but can be reshaped to fit most processes you can think up. The education and support from the OnSpring team is outstanding. They are truly partnered in understanding your problem and helping you build a solution to meet it. It's very easy to learn and use. Within a week of purchasing we were able to launch simple processes in the platform and realize immediate value. This was instrumental in gaining executive buy-in with the product, as most are burnt out on 6-12 month implementations before realizing an ROI.

Cons

It misses some of the logic functions you see in more advanced platforms. The licensing approach can be a double-edged sword as you can't allow for read-only access without utilizing a full license. Feature releases are done roughly quarterly, which means there is a significant delay between when feature need is realized and when it's delivered. Lacks the functionality to build a public facing user portal. They use surveys to accomplish this, but they are unwieldy since the URL changes every time you update the survey.
