Pros: LinkPoint360 is the best extension for Salesforce by allowing you to decide what does and doesn't get input. The ability to easily create leads and contacts directly from outlook is very handy when a new prospect comes through a different avenue. It is also handy to be able to record the whole email to the account, contact, or lead for future reference. You even have the ability to edit the message or make notes that aren't in the email but will be recorded with it into Salesforce. If you are in a hurry the smart record just finds the contact or lead and records it without having to search or make changes.

Cons: I do not like how it manages the spell check. At first it didn't even do spell check but now it checks the entire message, which is really annoying for a long thread. Also, it doesn't have the ability to look for other fields to match an email from, like another email address field in Salesforce.

Overall: I benefit from an easy work flow between Outlook and Salesforce

Pros: ease of use and how LInkPoint uses the email address to identify all opportunities for that contact. If I don't have a contact in SF, I can easily add from LinkPoint

Cons: No thinking of any cons . . .

Overall: The ability to run business opportunities out of Outlook with LInkPoint eases my making new opportunities (one click), opening the exact opportunity I want (side view pane) and also update activity linking to correct contact and opportunity such a time saver. I also like I can change the subject line in my LinkPoint box - different than the subject that is sent to the customer. I can "tell a story" by then just looking at the activity titles. I've called support twice and both times very responsive and solved my issue within the same business day (and they were really user issues, not software issues). Great service for the price point.

Recommendations to other buyers: I like the "log a call" and ability to add an opportunity from Outlook. That ties my contact to the opportunity and saves some steps if I had entered from SForce.

Pros: Ease of use, low resource consumption, self-updating and 'quiet'.

Cons: Nothing that comes to mind.

Overall: I'm the IT specialist for a midsize organization that uses LinkPoint as the backbone of our CRM strategy. From my perspective, it's easy to use, so very little training is required for new hires, and updates itself, essentially making it one of the very few "set it and forget it" applications that I've ever installed.

I'd say the best proof that LinkPoint is a quality product is how little I have to think about it. It just works. And on the rare occasion, it doesn't, LinkPoint's support team is very knowledgeable and quick to respond to enquiries.

Nothing but good things to say about this product, and don't know what we'd do without it.

Pros: Easy to install, configure, and use. consistent and customer service is great.

Cons: Not compatible with Mac OS, Outlook for Mac, or cloud products like OWA or Gmail.

Overall: Linkpoint 360 is a great tool for connecting email items to specific records in Salesforce. From install to configuration to recording to Salesforce; the whole process is fairly easy to use and intuitive. Their customer chat support is awesome and responsive. My only complaint is that they do not have a Mac OS compatible solution which forced us to look to other products like MailDrop to make up for that. Would be nice to see a cloud based or dual compatible version now.

Pros: It adds my emails to SF when I expect it to

Cons: It won't add bulk emails segregated by name to SF

It crashes my outlook and email screen

It is slow and clunky

It doesn't scale

Overall: Having been a user of LP for 2.5 years now, it is an application that works about as good as you would expect other than the fact that it crashes outlook and causes bugs in my email screens

It is an acceptable product for the $ we invest in as there also isn't many alternatives on the market

Pros: Ease-of-use, convenience.

Cons: Often slow to start, sometimes the software crashes.

Overall: Sometimes slow. Sometimes crashes. Other than that, it's terrific. I like the way it working Isis emails and sends them into cases on Salesforce. This makes things very convenient for me as I often have to go back and reference material that has been exchanged. Whenever I need to know some information about a certain case I am working, I know I can easily find it by using the attached emails as reference material.

Recommendations to other buyers: Customer service is pretty good if you talk to them via the chat.

Cons: When I randomly get signed out and cant figure out how to get back in on the same device I always use.

Overall: It's convenient for recording emails to our CRM (Salesforce) but it would be better to record the same email to more than one opportunity; sometimes the app randomly signs out and won't let me record emails. Luckily the company IT support we have has been helpful- it's just a bit annoying to have to spend time on it. It would also be nice to have the ability to record a call or set up a meeting with clients we're emailing with; also sometimes the contact info from the email signature doesn't transfer to the correct fields when I am trying to create a new account or contact (i.e. professional suffixes like PE show up as last names and last names are part of first names.) Overall, I'm definitely generally satisfied with how Linkpoint is used in my organization; it definitely makes things easier in managing emails related to our CRM records.

Pros: It's very easy to use and implement and has a myriad of ways to see, use, and connect information

Cons: I wish we could connect to custom objects somehow - not sure I would really classify this as a con but it would be great to have that capability!

Overall: We have used this for three years and chose it over the salesforce outlook integrator due to much better features and ease of use for different sales staff styles.

Comments: Over that past few years our Sales Department has been using LinkPoint. They loved how easy it was to sync contact data / emails from Outlook to Salesforce without having additional work. The only reason we are no longer using this program is because we moved away from Salesforce - and our team greatly misses the functionality of LinkPoint. We are hoping one day to be able to use this again. Highly recommend!

Pros: Love that Smart Record enables sending and saving simultaneously!

Cons: Seems to take longer to pop up the Record window and complete searches when not in the office on our network.

Overall: We do all our email from Outlook, so LinkPoint Connect helps us effectively save emails to Salesforce. We love the Smart Record option, but also helpful to have the ability to tailor the approach for an individual email when necessary.

Pros: We use LinkPoint360, the outlook/Salesforce integration helps keep our Salesforce productive.

Cons: Configuration of the product could be done better

Overall: I have the entire global Salesforce using LinkPoint as it enables them to be more productive in the field and properly tracking their opportunities. The feedback that I get is simply that this tool saves them time and makes using our CRM tool easier.

Recommendations to other buyers: Having easier training videos that show off the power of LinkPoint360 are not easy to find.

Cons: Sometimes it is glitchy, usually whenever there's an update done;

Overall: Great service and quick to respond. Not excited about the recent price jump, but it is the best product out there we've seen to work with our custom salesforce product. Our customers love it. Sometimes it does freeze upon start up and whenever it needs an update it tends to malfunction on about half of our user's PCs and we need to reinstall in some cases. Other than that, we are LinkPoint fanatics.

Overall: The software works fine, however, our company is a mixed platform. We have a number of mac users who have no solution. We are currently evaluating other solutions in order to accommodate both platforms.

Pros: Easy and fast way to sync communications between salesforce and emails

Cons: it's not available as App in cell phones

Overall: LinkPoint is great tool to sync our communications using few clicks, its save time and ensure accuracy

Cons: Calendar and tasks duplicate in outlook

Overall: Linkpoint 360 has some good features in the Outlook integration with Salesforce. The email option works well and outlook side's panel is a good tool. The Calendar a Task integration is clunky and requires closer attention, they are not seamless and duplicate events and tasks.

Overall: LinkPoint has been a huge help in filling the gap between SFDC and Outlook. There are some features our org would have liked to see out of the box, but nothing that can't be overcome by workarounds and customization. Customer service has been pretty responsive and are upfront if the product is unable to perform the requested function

Pros: This software integrates great with outlook and salesforce. It is also very reasonably priced for what you get.

Cons: I wish it was easier to use and set up. It seems like it is constantly disconnected and we are short a user. It also does not play nice with our cloud provider for downloading when we add new users.

Overall: I work in sales. LinkPoint provides an easy interface between Outlook and Salesforce. With one button push - I can send the contents and attachments from an Outlook email to Salesforce. The is a big time saver - I don't have to retype the information from the Outlook message to Salesforce.

Overall: Easiest way to record e-mail conversations, meeting, and activity in salesforce. Must have for any sales team. Single click recording of e-mails to contacts, as well as meetings. Install was painless, and configuration is just as easy.

Recommendations to other buyers: Get it! Every sales person I know hates recording activity, but its a necessary thing. This makes it painless.

Cons: Not 100% in the way we want them recorded - if they aren't in the inbox and already filed - they aren't tracked.

Pros: Ease of integration with Salesforce. My team is able to quickly transfer pertinent information to the places in Salesforce it needs to be.

Cons: Does not automatically register as being an "email". No major drawbacks.

Overall: Has increased our adoption and information 10 fold while making Salesforce a more effective tool. The best part is that the time spent to do this was minimal because Linkpoint integrates so well with Salesforce.

Pros: Saving email conversations to Salesforce is amazing when you need to revisit a conversation you had with a customer months or years later, or better yet when you need to read a past employees' conversation without having to request access to that employees email records.

You can specific where it should be saved (i.e. the Account, Opportunity, Quote, etc.).

Cons: Setting up the connection was a little tricky, but worth it (and didn't take that long).

It's only beneficial if employees remember to use it- at least the way our is setup means you have to click a different send button that prompts you to search/select the appropriate record before it goes.

Overall: Record keeping of conversations with customers and prospects.

Comments: I like LP360... its been a great product to log to SF.com and also provide task adding in the same email. However, when it doesnt work... your support teams are very bad at getting in touch or providing solutions. I have found your product to be patchy... but mainly just needs to go into the console and reconnect the salesforce connection, then it works better. It has been much better lately. I have been using this for about 5 years now. If it didnt go patchy, its a great solution and easy to use and does help with sales efficiency in logging to our CRM. Step your support game up, if we didnt have an in house expert... who can tshoot when it does have issues... I would have lowered my ratings due to pure frustration over the years.

Comments: LinkPoint Connect works great for our organization. Being able to choose templates you've already saved in Salesforce is great! No need to copy and paste.

A few downsides: 1) Sometimes the merge fields don't work (and this isn't for the lack of choosing template values. They simply are not recognized), 2) Software needs to be restarted periodically to work, and 3) If you go over your API request limit somehow, software will not work until API requests are reset (usually within 24hrs). These don't happen often, but something to be aware of just in case they do.

Pros: The ease of linking CVs to candidate records in Job Science was awesome. We really like how quickly it was able to do this and saved us lots of time on data entry

Pros: I like how easy it is to save emails (both current and retroactively) to different platforms, such as Salesforce. The template feature makes life so much easier when you have to send many emails that are nearly identical in content.

Cons: Other than possibly having a better tutorial for how to use the software, it is pretty easy to navigate and learn on your own.

Overall: My favorite feature is having templates stored in the software, so that I don't have to rewrite the body of an email to different clients.

Comments: Easy to use. Grocery's came fast. The two different carts made it a bit confusing but I figured it out. Will try again soon!
