### "Cognito is a solid form option that I believe in"

April 7, 2026

5.0

My overall experience has been very positive. So much so that I'm an affiliate and wholeheartedly recommend them to my clients. It's a powerful piece of software and almost anything you want to do can be done. The ease of use is a huge bonus for my clients who are not tech savvy.

Pros

I absolutely adore . I use it myself and recommend it to all my clients. It's very easy to use - there's a drag and drop interface so you can build the form very quickly. You can add email notifications that go to the user as well as anyone else who needs to be notified. You can also redirect to a different page upon submission which is nice. If you want to do some advanced calculations and have conditional elements, that's also possible and quite powerful. This part does have a bit of a learning curve, but the majority of users will probably not need it. However, if you do get stuck, just reach out to their support, and they walk you through exactly what you need to do in order to create the form you want. I've got nothing but good things to say about their support team. Each form has a section where you can view entries and export whatever view you'd like. You can create a PDF template to send to your users if you're building things like purchase orders from the form input. You can accept payment as well which is really handy for one-off purchases. Subscriptions are not supported as far as I have seen, but it is easy to sell items or collect donations.

Cons

There's not a whole lot to not like, really. One thing I'd love for them to do is to have some kind of global fields. I often build forms that need the same fields and while I can copy whole forms and edit those, sometimes you just need to add one or two things and having some global elements would be a real time saver.

### "Outstanding Software"

May 1, 2026

5.0

What truly sets this platform apart, though, is its ease of use. The interface is very user-friendly, making it simple not only for day-to-day operation but also for training new staff. Even employees with minimal technical experience can get up to speed quickly. Overall, it’s a reliable, efficient, and well-designed tool that has consistently supported our needs over the years.

Pros

We’ve been using for many years, and it continues to be an incredibly valuable part of our business operations. One of the standout features for us is the reporting functionality—it allows us to easily track, analyze, and organize data in a way that supports better decision-making and operational efficiency. The email notification system is another key strength. It keeps our team informed in real time, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks and that we can respond quickly when needed.

Cons

We’ve been using for many years, and it continues to be an incredibly valuable part of our business operation. There are NO issues to report. We are completely satisfied with this software.

### "Cognito - Pros & Cons"

when you require support, you always receive useful prompt response, solutions and workaround from them in a timely manner.

Pros

AI assistance; features; integration to Sharepoint; ability to prefill fields; table fields; low cost; frequent updates and addition of new features; user friendly

Cons

layout (unable to use customise fonts and limited selection of formatting for content cells); file size limitation when integrating to Sharepoint (it is not something that Cognito can do though); interface can be nicer; unable to copy & paste fields from one form to another; no bulk send from the platform; reminders cannot be sent to public users

Wow, thank you for such a detailed and balanced review! It's great to hear that the AI assistance, SharePoint integration, prefill functionality, and table fields are hitting the mark — and we're especially glad our pricing and feature set stood out when you were comparing so many strong alternatives. Your cons list is genuinely useful. I'll share these with our development team. I appreciate you being upfront about the SharePoint file size limitation, too, and for understanding that one sits outside our control. Most of all, thank you for the kind words about our support team. I'll make sure they hear it! Feedback like yours is exactly what shapes where we invest next. Really glad you chose Cognito Forms!

### "Cognito is the best! "

March 26, 2026

I love cognito - it revolutionized the way I'm able to operate my organization and streamlined formerly arduous tasks.

Pros

ease of use - I feel like I learned a lot of different ways to use it in a very short time flexibility - I've been able to use the forms for a lot of different tasks that needed to be automated

Cons

I would like to be able to copy information from one form to another form without having to copy the whole thing. I'd like the security options to apply to all possible categories instead of just a select few.

### "Reliable to a fault"

May 3, 2026

5.0

Great, reliable, secure and easy to use forms that we have been using for years now. Definitely recommend.

Pros

It is quite easy to use and set up the way intended fr data collection without too much of a learning curve. Our team receives email notifications, so everyone is informed of when clients submitted information and we can take next steps in the process.

Cons

Creating an automated cost calculation form can be a little bit tricky when it comes to 4-5 variables and up to 30 options each but with time and patience it can be don. No issues with the forms itself :)

### "User-Friendly and Powerful Tool for Streamlining School Processes"

April 1, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been very positive. It’s a reliable and powerful tool that supports a wide range of needs, from simple forms to more complex systems. Once you get familiar with its capabilities, it becomes an incredibly efficient way to manage information and streamline processes. I enjoy building out forms with Cognito Forms!

Pros

is pretty intuitive and easy to use, even for more complex workflows. The form builder is flexible, and I appreciate the ability to customize fields, calculations, and conditional logic. It’s been especially helpful for organizing school processes like sign-ups and data collection. I’ve also found tools like ChatGPT helpful for learning new features and improving how I use Cognito Forms more efficiently.

Cons

Some of the more advanced features, like calculations or conditional logic, can take time to learn and aren’t always immediately intuitive. There are also some limitations in formatting and design customization compared to more design-focused platforms. At times, troubleshooting more complex forms requires a bit of trial and error.

### "Affordable, User-Friendly Solution for Church Forms and Internal Requests"

May 1, 2026

5.0

has become an essential tool for our church operations. Even though we maintain a separate primary database, we rely heavily on Cognito for its flexibility and ease of use. It allows us to gather information from members and visitors without cluttering our main records. The system keeps us updated in real-time, ensuring that form submissions are seen and acted upon by the right staff members immediately. We use it for everything from general sign-ups to complex finance workflows, and it has consistently met our needs.

Pros

The platform is incredibly user-friendly and affordable. We love how easy it is to embed forms directly into our website, creating a seamless experience for our congregation. The ability to handle purchase requisitions and supply requests within the app has also been a game-changer for our finance tracking.

Cons

While the platform is powerful, managing data across two separate systems (Cognito and our main database) requires a bit of manual oversight to ensure everything stays organized.

### "Love Cognito"

May 4, 2026

5.0

Been using Cognito for years within a number of organizations. The ability to collect information and it's integration with Power Automate has given me the ability to increase the effectiveness of every organization.

Pros

The learning curve and ease of use is great. Customizability is superior to any other forms builder. I love their continued launch of new features. Having used since 2014, it has been amazing to watch the growth.

Cons

I wish there was a way to add files that others can download from the form as opposed to a content section.

May 4, 2026

My overall experience is really positive. I have taken it with me to multiple organizations and implemented it as an easy-to-use tool. I will continue to use it as it provides a lot of value for me.

Pros

It's very easy to use and there are so many features that help with various types of data collection needed for my organization. It allows me to keep track of different information and house it for a point of reference. I enjoy the automated updates I can trigger to send myself via email.

Cons

### "FFCSports Online Registrations Improvement"

May 1, 2026

5.0

It's allowed us to streamline operations. It's allowed us to have a collective data driven spreadsheet for all entries to import into our own spreadsheets.

Pros

It does everything we need it to do for our sports league registrations. Before we had to use one form for information, and another form for payment. Now it's all consolidated into one form.

Cons

The lack of ability to copy form fields from one form to another. So we have to recreate each form field. Should be simple to copy/paste from other forms you've created so you don't have to recreate from scratch for all the different forms that need the same info.

### "Reliable and Flexible Form Solution"

April 23, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with has been positive. It is user-friendly, efficient, and helpful for creating organized forms without needing advanced technical skills. The platform makes it easy to collect information, apply conditional logic, and manage submissions in a structured way. While some advanced features can take extra time to learn, it has been a reliable tool overall for improving workflow and reducing manual effort.

Pros

is easy to use, flexible, and saves a lot of time. I especially like the clean form builder, conditional logic, and how simple it is to collect information in a structured way without needing technical skills.

Cons

The main drawback is that some advanced customization and workflow features feel limited compared with more complex platforms. Certain settings can also take time to figure out at first.

### "I love to go incognito with Cognito Forms!"

May 1, 2026

5.0

I'm starting to use it for a lot of things I never thought I would. I work by myself, so the forms help automation a lot. Sending emails is a big thing. Giving quotes is also huge.

Pros

Ease of Use, I learned how to use this platform very quickly. Anyone with even a small background in Excel can learn it easily. Email Notifications can be customized a lot. This helps with my business for "boiler Plate" emails.

Cons

Reporting and Tracking, I'd like to see more of where and when my form users are bailing. Kind of like website analytics if that makes sense.

### "Great Tool to Have "

May 1, 2026

I have been a user for many years. I love the fact that my clients can enter their own information and submit it to us. This helps eliminate mistyped and misspelling of names and other personal information we need to service our clients.

Pros

It is a very easy to use software. The learning curve is really short and the email notifications are great reminder to check our account for submitted forms.

Cons

It would ne nice if the input data could be link to other programs such as a CRM. This would help us from re-entering data that has already been submitted.

### "Love Cognito Forms"

May 1, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with has been very positive. I use it to survey a team of 51, to export data that I can organize easily in a spreadsheet and to collect e-signatures so clients can sign up for an account to a website.

Pros

I am a big fan of and have had a subscription while working for two different companies. I appreciate the ease of use, the ability to collect e-signatures from clients, and how easy it is to add my company's logo to brand the forms. I receive email notifications but can also have some of the results of different forms sent to my colleagues as well.

Cons

Sometimes it is hard to login. At times, I am asked to login by receiving an email (which can be difficult to receive the emails on my work email) and doesn't even give me the option to login using my username and password. I have to go searching around trying to find a way to login using the username and password.

### "Fantastic, well thought-out product at a reasonable price"

May 9, 2025

5.0

Excellent. Very happy with it and it makes my life as a web developer much easier.

Pros

This is a really thoughtfully designed product, with a very fair and flexible pricing model. As a web developer, CognitoForms is extremely flexible and customizable both in the options it gives you to create the forms, and the options for integrating it into your site. As an alternative to things like WordPress contact form plugins, CognitoForms lets us stand up forms FAST and without having to deal with mail servers and delivery issues. It's also pretty powerful, you can have conditional logic (i.e. only display section X if input Y is Z) and tables where the user can add an arbtirary number of rows. There's also conditional logic to control when/if a submitted form is emailed out. They also make it really easy to add more users to your team, manage other CF accounts, and even transfer forms between CF accounts, which is great because sometimes a form starts off on our master account but has to be spun off to a client's own separate account. I also appreciate that I can create an unlimited number of forms and am only limited/billed based on submission entries because I have a large number of low-submission forms on most of my client sites.

Cons

I really don't have any critiques of , it's one of those rare products where they really seem to have thought of everything.

Reason for choosing Cognito Forms

We use a static page generation pipeline for our Wordpress sites, so we needed something where the contact forms were running via a third party embedded application, so Wordpress contact form plugins were not well suited to this. Compared to other similar third party form builders like Jotform, we found to be full-featured, customizable, and have a pricing structure we found suitable for our use case.

Overall, it is a valuable tool. I love the versatility, and it really takes a lot of work away from me. I have recommended it to my company and between us, we have three accounts for different areas of the business.

Pros

It helps us adhere to GDPR Guidelines, keeps the data in one space, confidential, and easily disseminates data automatically via email for efficient use. Forms are easy to create in general, and it's easy to make each one unique for your needs.

Cons

Little fiddly to set up rules, especially if they are more complicated (ie, multi-layered). However, these are rarely needed.
