I have very long forms that are linked together through lookup fields - it can be difficult to sort through the fields when I am trying to use the Insert Field function. I wish there was a way to search the available fields by the form I'm trying to pull from. Cons The only drawback so far is that the script has a slight delay while loading that impacts the site visually for a few moments. It's certainly not a dealbreaker. We have used Cognito for some of our biggest events and it has proved helpful. Pros The ability to integrate with other apps like Zapier. Also all the form options both in the template store and in the DIY forms. Cons Some of the features are not as intuitive as they could be and or Y/N questions in order to make the question required it has to have Yes response which is not helpful. Also it would be helpful to have an option in matrix or ranking questions forms to have an option to select more than one answer. Operations Law Practice Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Cognito - Complex and useful form builder" October 18, 2024 4.0 It does the job it describes well - a highly customisable form builder with databases, APIs and front-end customisation as well. Pros Cognito forms work as intended- the webpage loads fast, the forms fill in correctly, the results load, the API works. The forms also have a lot of customisability by using conditional logic (if/else statements) so you have a lot of options in creating your forms. This is extremely helpful for the sort of forms I need to create, and it works brilliantly if you have a technical/programming mind. Cons The look isn't particularly appealing when you are filling in a form - I know that you can change the way the forms look on the front end but I think the default look could be upgraded to look somewhat more appealing The customer support isn't amazing through my limited interactions with them but luckily there aren't too many issues to fix Review Source JS John S. Pros The ability to create new forms and to have these forms separated and the ability to receive feedback from our contractors or in an emergency send the link and receive feedback from a tenant dealing with an urgent issue in the property and the video call tool we use does not work and we are able to see images and videos to be able to assist with the images and videos we have sent. Also the emails received via our email to remind us as dealing with many other issues can be hard to keep up but cognito forms is great overall and we could not do without it. Cons There is not a single thing we have come across that we do not like and this is a crucial tool for our business. Reason for choosing Cognito Forms Cognito was our first choice and we did not look at other alternatives but have since looked at others and Cognito forms would be our choice due to the ease of use.
