Its a straight forward system for client to use and provide information needed. Pros Client can complete from their phone, tablet or computer.it can connect with other systems and automate parts of workflow. It is very easy to learn to use and navigate. I love the security feature provides encryption, secure document uploads, ability to restrict who can access forms and submissions. Forms can be connected to payments processors. Compared to other systems I feel cognate is the most affordable. It can be used as a lead capture tool. Cons It isnt a true CRM. It only capture the lead. Lead follow up is limited. It can't be used for client communication. I own a tax business so for me that is basically the only con I have of having to use another system as a CRM. Plan amounts do increase base on the usage of the system. In the subsequent years, Cognito become integrated into every part of our institution due to it's easy of use for anyone coupled with the ability to do complex workflows. Pros The complex workflow abilities are our favorite part of Cognito forms. When we show other form vendors the complexities of our workflows, they admit defeat because they cannot compete with what we are already using. Cons The most common request I get is the ability to integrate with our ERP system and SMS. We would love to be able to pull names and users with that type of integration. Since BEFORE the pandemic. It's very integrated it works nicely it just needs more design and customization/modernization. The Stripe functionality is superb. Pros I love how customizable it is in terms of the formulas, calculations etc. The fact that you can layer the different formulas and functions it's really powerful for customization Cons I HATE THAT THERE IS NO UNDO FEATURE THAT IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Pros With Cognito Forms, it is a lot easier to create automated workflows than complicated apps like MS Power Automate. Cons Although it is easier than MS Power Automate, there is still a learning curve with using the app, especially with complex or multiple step workflows. However, there is a lot of reference material in the app. You need to just get in the app and play around and test things in order to learn the ropes.
