She didn't overwhelm us with emails or resources, but we always knew we could go to her with any questions. Overall, a really great experience and we definitely recommend! Pros We needed an easy-to-use affiliate management and payout software that integrated seamlessly with our CRM, HubSpot. We've loved our experience so far and it's been easy for our affiliates to use! Cons Because we are new to the system, it's sometimes hard to find the settings we're looking for within the system. Also, I wish it were possible for our affiliates to update all of their personal info in their account settings (such as email and Paypal address). Other than that, we are loving it! He and the support team are very quick to respond to any question or concerns that comes up. I would highly recommend Referral Rock for any reward program you are launching. Pros We had a very tight timeline as our previous vendor-partner was not able to meet our needs based on our agreed upon deadline and we were able to go live with our site with CRM integrations within 2 weeks! The customization capabilities was another key factor in our decision to move forward with Referral Rock. Cons We have a handful of Affiliate Partners who are grandfathered in with separate terms than our current program and unfortunately there is a separate license at $75/mo for each program with different rewards so it's not economical for us to be able to use the program for all partners. Reason for choosing Referral Rock After 6+ mos of work, vendor could not meet launch deadlines with Zoho integration, not did they have the customization capability we needed. Pros The software does what we need it to do. we are able to connect it to our contacts base in hubspot and track where referrals come from and automatically pay them out. This product caters to your needs and is fairly flexible. Cons there was a bit of a learning curve when it came to integration set up but once we saw the full picture with the help of our referral rock rep we were able to get things up and running. Cons We understand that RR doesn't integrate with Instagram, for reasons beyond RR's control, but would be great to have a workaround for this. Reason for choosing Referral Rock The most important reasons (even though there were many) were the ability to have mirror programs in English and Spanish, and the simplicity and variety of ways for member to share the program with their friends and family. May 3, 2017 5.0 Pros The list is extensive! Their integrations, their obsession to be on the leading edge of their niche, the overall customizability, and flexibility, WITHOUT being locked into a long-term contract. I think what's overall best about my experience is that they give you a 15-day trial to literally try almost every feature. Not only that, they came alongside (While still being a trial customer = no money paid yet) and they try to first understand your objectives in detail and then point you to the proper steps along the way. They're proving their worth before they ask you to pay a penny. I run my business the same way. I like to test EVERYTHING and they allowed that. Beyond that, when I did dig in and tell them what I want, they had the features and flexibility to come satisfy nearly every little complex detail I needed for my referral program. They even had features to accomplish things that I hadn't even thought of yet. PLUS, every time I had a question, they were on it or finding an answer. It's like they wanted me setup and running before the trial even approached expiration and I applaud them for that. It's the best way you can earn your potential customers business. And they were never pushy! (If anything, I was being too pushy.). In all, I saved thousands by not needing to build an app or sign up for a long-term contract. Cons The ONLY thing I would like to see is an app for people to download and keep logged in on. But I'm sure that will come with time. We are just about to launch, so I can't say anything about our results - but this is exactly what we've been looking to set up for a while and I'm super excited to get this ball rolling. Pros Hands down the thing I like most about Referral Rock is the customer service. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been a godsend. He's been so easy to communicate with, is available for video/screen share calls and happily answers any little question I've had. It's been such a big help to have that, because there's so much you can do with Referral Rock, but without someone who knows it inside and out it would be easy to miss a lot - and set it up with only a fraction of its potential. Cons I felt like there were a number of things that weren't ready to go right off the bat - like an anchor link to take users from the referral page to the top (to see the form again). A random field that appeared in the member registration form. All of these were minor and there was a workaround in place, would have been \*ideal\* if these were in place but nothing was a dealbreaker, just a minor inconvenience. And, it seems to have all the features I need without costing a fortune. Cons Working with the text, like font selection and size, spacing, etc. is super glitchy and I found myself finding workarounds when putting together the member and referral pages. Never did really get it to look the way I wanted it to look. And, if I indented anything it automatically inserted quotations kind of underneath the text. Everything else seems to work fine, but considering the text setup is crucial to the message it seems as though maybe some more functionality attention should be paid to that. So, we began the hunt to find a referral program software company who could rally behind us just as our customers do. After speaking with more than 4 other companies, we signed on with Referral Rock. Why? For a few reasons: Price is competitive for what you receive UI is clean and easy to navigate They offer key feature sets which include: easy to embed widgets, single- or double-sided referral program options, one-click call-to-action for quick sign up, automated templated email messages, unique tracking for sharing, API integration, conversion tracking, reporting, etc. Weve been using Referral Rock for a few months now and I have to say that if you want stellar customer service these guys deliver on all levels. They are attentive. Will customize anything you need on the fly. By far, their team is awesome to work with and will help you get results. Also, if you provide them with feedback it doesnt get lost. Its seen as valuable and taken into consideration when they update their software. Cons The only con would be their reporting its limited.
