### "One of the greatests"

Pros

Its simplicity and, at the same time, how deep we can go at user onboarding and flow buildings.

Cons

I'm missing a couple of features, like the possibility of event attributes usage in segmentation, but they're always supportive and try to work out for solutions.

We've greatly improved the effectiveness of onboarding new users. Also, the tools provided by Appcues have made it possible to offer in-system tutorial to our users which has reduced the load of our support team while keeping the quality of our service level high.

Pros

Appcues is really easy to use and makes creating flows to onboard users very engaging and pleasurable. I also enjoy the fact that I can customize the experience to match our brand design.

Cons

Steep price hike last year that made us evaluate whether to continue using the service. But the value we get from using the software outweighed the price hike.

Setting it up in all of our environments. But we understand it is necessary for them to understand what app is being accessed.

The ease of publishing flows, hotspots, and tooltips is extremely valuable when implementing on a software that is constantly improving, changing and upgrading.

Cons

The hotspot functionality has potential; however, there are a number of improvements that need to be made there in order for it to really reach that potential.

It has been great we have released walk through for customers to be guided through our site. We also launched a new feature and used a flow to provide information about the coming soon feature release.

Pros

Our customers have provided a lot of positive feedback using our walk through flows. Easy to building using the Appcues builder along with great setting options to target and segment when/who the flows go to.

Cons

Not many cons only a few small thing in the builder like no spell check, spaces in the text sometimes don't show on the published flow so we would have to edit the flow delete a space and add a space for it to show in the published flow. Not a big issue though.

Appcues has been a total game changer for our company. Since we’ve started really leaning into a proactive in-app messaging strategy leveraging Appcues, we’ve seen a significant uptick in user engagement, lead generation, and it’s created a new channel for us to collect user feedback faster and more effectively. The platform is so easy to use, and we’re loving the integration with Heap which has allowed us to deeply understand how our users engage with our flows. I would recommend Appcues to any organization looking to ramp up their user engagement.

Cons

Sometimes impressions and completion rates are inconsistent with the data we see in Heap

Pros

If you are looking for a tool to help you improve your product experience, onboarding, feature adoption and activation metrics WITHOUT any dev efforts - AppCues is for you! Love it! It helped us increate activation, engagement and retention rates on our SaaS platform, while saving dev resources and giving us the agility to refine our flows at any point!

Cons

There are some things that require dev time (triggering events etc) that are needed in order to make the most out of the platform.

Reason for choosing Appcues

Value for money, feature set and ease of use (compared to other tools).

Overall im having a great experience with Appcues, its simple and it works.

Pros

It is easy to use and simple to understand. I started to work with it in one day and in the other i was super used to already. Great ux, you can customize it a lot and work with the html and css.

Cons

There are a few bugs during the flow building, and its a bit slow somethimes. What i really dont like is that i cant open the flows in other tabs (with the right button of the mouse), it has to be in one tab only (or launch in mutiple tabs the appcues site).

generally I use Appcues for all of my feature releases, and for many different workflows. Sometimes its just a quick flow and other times a very detailed flow.

Pros

I really like that its easy and intuitive to use. I generally do not need any user documentation or help when creating, and that is always a good thing for me.

Cons

I've run into times where my appcues have either not saved, or segments I've created are empty.

My team uses Appcues to get feedback from customers But we are beginning to branch out and use it to guide them through onboarding. I've learned so much from their resources & have begun to align our customer groups with their product-led growth wheel.

Pros

Appcues does a great job of making their tool accessible. I love being able to build flows inside my app, it helps me step into my users' shoes.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about Appcues is that my team doesn't use it as much as they should.

Pros

The product is easy to use and you can create several tutorials in few hours.

Cons

They increased the price of the lower plan by 256% last winter. That is not sustainable for start-ups and we invested time and money to use that product and build good tutorials. Less than 6 months after the start, prices are going out crazy and it makes no sense to use that provider. I can't have any thrust for the long-term use since they do this type of action for existing customers. Yes, when they announced that, they offered to get 3 month at previous price before getting hijacked prices... What a deal. We have quitted like many others.

The best part about using appcues is to get honest customer feedback and comments in the most smooth and easy way, which would otherwise be very difficult using any other medium.

Incredible customer service. Really go above and beyond to resolves any issues and provide comprehensive solutions to your problems.

Pros

\-Extremely easy to implement -Segmenting by any type of user -Looks beautiful -Easy analytics

Cons

Everything is element driven (e.g. show a call-out next to this H1 heading when user is on this page). However, our site has many "hidden" elements on a page, which only display when the user interacts with the page in a certain way. It'd be nice if you could somehow detect these clicks/interactions, and then display tutorials based on that (e.g. on click of this button, show this alert)

Pros

Features we use at work most are - 1. Easy onboarding for our users. We use it's conditions from matching URLs to Segment events and properties. 2. NPS surveys. Integrated alongside Zapier for automation and you are set. 3. Feature announcements. Every release planning consists of us creating beautiful flows to onboard our users to newly released features.

Cons

Although it's very subjective, i like the older UI better than the new one. Also, i would like the option to replicate a flow and change it's URL.

Ease of use, distributed responsibility where literally anyone on our product or marketing team can launch a new flow.

Cons

Responsive is not their strong suit (yet - we are told it's in process). We have to duplicate our flows on mobile and desktop and adjust accordingly.

We use the Appcues chrome extension a lot as well as the flow builder. This allows me at the drop of dime to start sketching out meaningful ways to communicate with our users, right on the page that I intend it to be show. Incredible, useful smart and creative tool! We love the metrics we get each of our flows, we love the targeting capability and clean design as well. This is a winner. Integration - Easy Learning Curve - Short, Minimal Design - Sleek

Cons

No branching logic when creating forms. Adding analytics to help measure user conversion via these modals would be sweet!
