### "I'm really enjoying Timeneye"

It allows me to track time spent on projects and helps me plan the next ones. I find it very important for my business. I am looking forward to checking out the premium version after writing this review.

Pros

Reports, the Google Chrome plugin, Team overview (when I used it in bigger teams). The easiness and sophisticatedness of the tool in general.

Cons

The UI could be a bit more up my street but it's a personal preference. It is functional and clear.

I would recommend Timeneye to everyone who is looking for timesheets software for a team. :)

Pros

I spend couple of months researching and testing different software solutions for simple time tracking with automatic calendar events capturing for our team in Europe and Timeneye turned out to be the best solution we tested. It's simple, it is not filled with hundreds of useless settings and has exactly what you need very quickly. It has all the necessary integrations we needed using O365 and Microsoft infrastructure and SSO login as well. The Mobile app works well and there is even a browser plugin that helps track time in different productivity websites and online tools. Reporting is very good and convenient with customizable reports available.

Cons

There are few things that can be improved. Some of them are some small interface improvements as sometime an annoying tooltip is stuck on the screen or the time reporting popup resets its date to today before you save and you have to move the timeslot after. Or that you have to scroll quite long in the mobile app to reach your daily suggestions. But I think those are easy to fix. I would love to see reporting with the calculated cost per line not only the billable hours. Overall

It's been years of patience and frustration watching new features, new reporting, and a new interface being rolled out while performance has decayed (especially with reporting) and reliability has suffered with repeated glitches with browser extensions and integrated time tracking which has resulted in recurring instances of time being billed to the incorrect client and needing to be manually audited if it's not noticed by staff.

Pros

Timeneye offers most of the core features we need for tracking time and properly billing clients.

Cons

The focus is on adding new features and updated interfaces while stability and reliability continue to be a recurring problem. I've filled out multiple Timeneye surveys with a very clear emphasis on performance and reliability. I have yet to receive a response acknowledging my concerns or survey submissions.

### "Excellent product from a very professional company"

Pros

Ease of use and integration with Microsoft Teams and Asana which my team uses. They can capture time from anywhere. I've been a paying customer for 3+ years and recently, forgot to reduce the licence as a team member had left. TimeNEye charged me for some extra licence but, when I mentioned it, they immediately refunded the extra payment. I cannot fault them for taking the extra payment as I forgot to amend the system. The company is very professional and really look after their customers. Their product support is also very good in my experience.

Cons

Reporting is still basic and could be improved. However, current product meet my needs.

To make it clear I don't use half of the features that Timenye offers since I work as a consultant and do very little billing by the hour and typically bill on a % complete basis. Timeneye and other apps I use are mainly are more for internal needs to make sure I and my team stay focused.

Pros

It works both in Windows 10 & Android with very little difference in UI except for project set-up and the automatic save order. Has been surprisingly stable from the beginning in both platforms. Has enough built-in levels to deal with my industry of architecture and phasing of a project. It was very easy to get started. I think the UI is pretty straight forward. The reports are easy to get and thus analyze.

Cons

My major con is I forget how to set-up a new project since I don't do it enough of them and there tends to be a gap between set-up. The other is my bad haven't really set-up any templates but the UI is friendly enough that it hasn't compelled me to do so.

Pros

I love Timeneye. I use it every day, it allows me to have real control of my time, of my clients. Without data, we cannot make the right decisions for our businesses, and time is our most valuable resource. Useful, practical reports. Incredible

Cons

I would slightly improve the android application that I detected a bug. It was freezing sometimes. Although I prefer to use it in the browser

I am using the Timeneye for about 4 years and it is my day to day tool. I recommended it few times to my friends from other design studios and it was quickly integrated in the structure. I cannot image the work without this tool, I am not a fan of Toggl and I believe Timeneye greatly fill in the niche of the unsatisfied needs.

Pros

The easiness of managing the time blocks, creating the reports and the visual representation of data.

Cons

The UI is getting bit old. The cost per hour management without the set budget could be more intuitive. It would be great to merge some options from Toggl (option to switch to the list view instead of calendar) to make the tool more universal.

Pros

Timeneye helps me keep time for all my projects. Since most of my customers have a limited budget, it makes it easy for me to keep track of their budget also... Each project report is sent to the customer for review, and since I also write completed tasks in the description, the customer can have a real easy review of the time I spent working for them.

Cons

As with any time management tool I miss a "planned" time phase that would keep me informed of which projects are to be done each day. I do get around it with a calendar integration as well as Asana integration.

Pros

It is easy to use to track my time. It helps get a quick tally of my hours for the month when I invoice clients. I like the simplicity of Timeneye and I trust it. That is essential when my income is based on billable hours.

Cons

It is a stand-alone timer. It integrates with Trello, but I would prefer if Timeneye had it's own project management system. Would be great if it integrated with Quickbooks so invoicing was seemless.

I use teamwork, but not the time tracking feature in there. I like the simplicity of Timeneye and I trust it. That is essential when my income is based on billable hours. Toggl, I don't know. I like the interface, but there didn't seem to be much benefit in switching.

I used to dread having to record time using an Excel spreadsheet and constantly chase staff to do so. Timeneye has made life so much easier and I find that I now record even a few minutes spent on a project. We have noticed that we are now billing more, because our records are much more accurate than they were previously.

Pros

Easy (dare I say fun) to record your time. Easy to edit job names. Report function to demonstrate time spent is very powerful but not especially easy to do.

Cons

The automatic 'suggestion' function is annoying. I'd like greater choice of more vibrant colours to distinguish individual projects. I'd like it to be easier to record time spent in the past. For example, where we have transitioned from our old manual system to the new one, it is awkward to add time spent in earlier days/months because the page keeps returning to the current date. I'd prefer to be able to stay on the week I am editing rather than jumping forward to the present day each time. No way of recording expenses / disbursements. The pie charts aren't useful to us so we would prefer to switch this off in favour of seeing the list of dates/times spent. Duplication of project names is a problem. Merging projects is difficult.

The server is in the cloud, and you can access your data anywhere. The app is available on all major platforms: Web, iOS and Android. Its features make it ideal for all those who need advanced time tracking.

Pros

Without a doubt, what I like most about Timeneye are the integration possibilities. I personally use their extension to incorporate time tracking to Trello and it works great. I personally have been using Timeneye for years in its free plan and I have never felt the need to switch to its paid plan, which speaks very well in favor of all that this little tool offers.

Cons

I really have hardly any negative points to highlight about this tool. I use it for very simple things, just time tracking, and it works great for me.

I find Timeneye really easy to use and fitting for all my needs. There is some functionality that isn't exactly the way I would like it, but overall it's a great tool.

Pros

I love that it's a free and easy way to track my working hours and export them to create invoices. The free version has everything I need.

Cons

For my purposes, I wish I didn't have to create a new project every time I want to categorize my time in a different way. I would prefer if I could just manually type in the project description each time I start tracking. I also wish I could export my time in an invoice format that's ready to send to my client, rather than just a spreadsheet. I end up having to reformat it each time I end an invoice.

We usethe Timeneye reports on every annual client review to show where the time and hence costs were spent. Invaluable.

Pros

Easy to use product, both on PC & phone. Makes timekeeping on projects really easy and makes a huge difference to present to clients where all the time went on different phases, especially justifying maintenance & Support budgets. Top class product.

Cons

My only criticism would be to run reports from 2 dates rather than the monthly/12 monthly cycles

Pros

Timeneye is easy to learn, easy to use, and efficient for tracking our time on multiple projects. I used to have a hard time keeping an accurate log of my time spent on different tasks, but with Timeneye, I have been able to get into an easy habit of logging my time on a daily basis. Creating customized reports helps immensely with invoicing and budgeting hours.

Cons

The mobile version is slightly harder to find my way around, but that might be because i usually use the desktop version.

Pros

What I love about Timeneye is that it makes it very easy to track your tasks over the day, and your entries are easily adjustable by just draging the entries to increase/decrease amount worked on.

Cons

I wish that I could add entries and select from what time until what time I worked on it. Right now I have to only enter a full time, but if I forgot, then I have to go back and try to count the numbers in my head from when I started working. So this is fdefinitely something I wish we could do - to specify start and end time and it will then save the entry with the correct time. This would make it quicker and more accurate.

As someone who works on lots of projects at once, Timeneye makes it easy for me to keep track of where my time & attention goes to everyday. It's how I make sure my focus is where it needs to be on a weekly, monthly, & quarterly basis.

Cons

I can't think of anything I don't like. The software is simple, easy to use, & doesn't feel bloated like so many others in the space. It does what it needs to do & doesn't try to be everything to everybody.

Very pleased I chose Timeneye. It was recommended by a web developer I know. Word of mouth is the gold standard!

Pros

Timeneye is easy (and super quick) to use. Intuitively designed. The dashboard is easy to understand, with its customized colours. I really, really appreciate the reports and the time sheets. I send a time sheet to all of my clients at month's end so they can see how I'm using their $.

Cons

Sometimes Timeneye doesn't "remember" the phases for different projects, and pretends I haven't actually set any up. Easily corrected by navigating to a different function, then back again.

Pros

Timeneye has seriously some report. I like how simply I can create a report for my project based on various inputs like work time, most time-consuming task, etc. A real gem in my software collection. If I standalone use timeneye it has the ability to do everything, but my team use trello which has unlimited member integration. I started using timeneye as a trello time tracker, but after discovering all the features this offers I am impressed, and now use user management. Set up is easy as their "onboarding" shows everything onscreen and how to set up.

Cons

The default calendar shows everything. If it revels when mouse over them would be better. I hope they listen to me.

Pros

Simple time management for trello. I like the way this works with another project management for logging the time. From registering to start logging the time it took about 3min in total. Chrome browser extension does help to log all type of online activity which is great. Now my mail, chat, meeting and other activity will be available to review. The reporting system is also a great option which enables to improve my spending time which got unseen. Logging everything helps to prioritize my tasks and see which is the best time to do it.

Cons

When I manually add time, I cannot start the timer on this task which is needed for my case.

This product is a pleasure to use and has helped me run my (solo) business for more than a year now.

Pros

Timeneye is very easy to use and has all the features I need in a time tracker. I find the widgets on the right one of the most useful features, I pretty much get all reports I need just from that.

Cons

One minor issue that I have is that a popup that shows the "Notes" content sometimes stays open until I refresh. But I do torture my browser quite a bit and I can't be sure that the problem is not on my end :)

Easy to use and usefull. It has let me know how much time I invest in every project and how much is my actual $ rate/hour

Cons

I would like to be more integrated with other software. And sometimes we work in multiple tasks at the same time or in a task that can count for different phases or projects. So i´d like to split the invested time in different items in a easier way
