It's pretty nice and easy to use. I've never had an issue with chargify being 'down for maintenance' so i'd say it's pretty stable. We're a small company and we don't pay too much for it, and it looks to be pretty price-effective as the app scales. Cons The dashboard is a bit confusing because there's so much to be found on it. Payments seem to take a long time to process with them. Some of the API documentation is kind of hard to use Review Source MD Michele D. The support team I have interacted with has been incredibly helpful, and have really gone out of there way with providing amazing support. Pros The set up was fairly easy. The customer support has been really impressive. Cons We need a more custom solution for our salesforce integration. A work around was found, but it would be nice to have it be a scalable work around. Cloning, coupons and more make it easy to track purchases and set up payment pages on the fly. September 5, 2019 4.0 Pros I like that Chargify has a snappiness to it; I rarely have to wait for a page to load or a window to open. My tasks in Chargify generally require multiple clicks and having to type in text that can't be saved, so having the program move quickly saves me a lot of time. Cons I would like to see a method to entering a list of users that I need to look at. As it stands, I have to manually enter each user I need to search for. Review Source MC Mark C. When we were looking at different services their team was very helpful in answering our questions and taking the time to make sure we understood how to set up our pricing model. We use Chargify to charge our customers, send billing related emails to our customers such as statements, automate invoicing, automate the process when our customer's credit cards fail, and automate the application of coupons and taxes. Everything has gone very smoothly with Chargify and their API was very easy to integrate with. We couldn't be any happier. Review Source AS Amar S. Used the software for: ### "Been using the product for 5+ yrs, it's great" April 14, 2017 5.0 I have been using the product since 2012 and it has delayed our decision year after year to move away from QB to a mid-size accounting system. I went the the product largely due to pricing early on, but have been really impressed with the ease of use and the improved reporting. We get all of the necessary data that we need for GAAP reporting as well as for SaaS Metrics calculations. We have been through several Big 4 audits and the system has really reduced our time in providing backup for the audit. Would highly recommend the product. Review Source LR Larry R. The sync of information with QB does not allow us to utilize the custom fields in QB the way we were and this makes it very difficult to process our sales commissions each month the way we need to. I would like to see more filters available on the existing financial reports that would allow greater flexibility in report generation, and even the capability to create reports, both financial and analytical. Pros It had good onboarding, once you learned the system it was pretty easy to manipulate. Cons It really wasn't as seamless as we wanted but that may have been because we were trying to do something it really wasn't designed for. I most appreciate how easily I can find information on customers and purchases. For one particular product line, it was recently easier for me to look in Chargify for a list of new customers than it was to look up that information in our CRM. Cons The automatic receipting is great, but I would like some more robust templates and tools for additional communication with customers. It does a good job of maintaining the invoice schedule and revenue schedule separate of each other. A few ideas for improvement would be the ability to combine products so that the invoice generated is a combination of the products. This was the answer to all of our invoicing and e-invoicing needs. We do wish that they would expand the software to address other needs but I understand that they are staying in their lane. We are very happy with the results for our subscription business and it is almost effortless to invoice now.
