We are super happy with Discovered AI and look forward to start using the Employee evaluation platform that is built in to it. A nice free additional perk we were not expecting to have, but will definitely start utilizing!

Pros

We have been using Discovered AI for our Hiring Platform for around a year now. I like the fact that they have great customer service and their platform has really streamlined our hiring process.

Cons

Can’t really think of anything I don’t like about it. Everything is nice and streamlined, customizable and sorts through our candidates with ease… basically it tells us which ones to follow up on based on AI screening, assessments and a few other parameters we have set.

Amazingly accessible & helpful customer service during set up and learning to use the system! I have used several applicant management systems over the years and this is definitely the best one, and for sure the best value!

Pros

Saves me so much time & energy. I also like that even when I am the busiest, hiring still gets done!

Cons

Looking forward to some coming enhancements with calendar options to further allow customizations we would like to add.

We used Discovered for about three years. They met all our needs during that time. We've since changed our hiring priorities but they were always willing to help with anything we requested.

Pros

Easy to use and cost effective. Great customer support. Good variety of pre and post employment tests.

Cons

Collaboration with co-workers was not intuitive. No ability to post job to handshake or other college job boards.

We are a small business, so some of the features are over and above what we need. It can sometimes feel overwhelming. I love the assessments and that help in getting to the nitty gritty of someone's personality.

Pros

Very robust features. I like the ease of being able to review someone's CV easily.

Cons

Navigation isn't super straightforward. While the robust changes are great, I am having a harder time finding some of the past tools I am used to.

Satisfied; will continue using it. I've been using it for a number of years and the service offerings have been improved significantly.

Pros

I really like the new website. It is a central place for me to keep all hiring related notes in one place. The ease with which I can send assessments to candidates directly from the site is great. Now that it includes DiSC assessments, it makes it even more worthwhile to have this service.

Cons

The reports are difficult to interpret. Some terms used for measuring personality characteristics can be misleading. It would be great to have a "cheat sheet" to refer to what it means if a person scores high on "dishonesty" for instance.

He was able to quickly give us a bottom-line cost to our small business, without the high-pressure sales tactics. I can see us expanding our use as we continue to grow. I was impressed.

Pros

I have very limited usage at this point, but everything seems smooth to set up and start using. I rated an 8/10 only because I am still very new, but I can see it going higher as I get a chance to use more of the essentials skills assessments. Already it has kept me from a bad hire! Thanks!

Cons

I do not have a "least" yet, but am still very new to using the assessments.

Pediatric ST, PT and OT are just hard to hire for - so it's not really a complaint about hire talent, just reality that it's hard to fill out open positions.

Pros

The Hire Talents assessments are so helpful when recruiting for our office. It helps to distinguish the ok employees from the great employees. Aaron is also so helpful and responsive whenever I have a question about the product. Highly recommend!

Cons

Nothing that the Hire Talent can fix. Wish our whole office used them for their ATS.

When I started with THT I was completely new to HR, this program has and continues to help me with recruiting. The assessments help vet through so many candidates. Anytime I have a question or need assistance \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]/and the team have been there for me.

Pros

My number 1 favorite thing about "The Hire Talent" is the customer service! Anytime I have a question or need assistance someone normally answers right away. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] has the best video tutorials. I like having all my candidates for each job posting easy to see and find. I believe that the assessments have helped us dramatically in hiring the right candidates.

Cons

I would like to be able to find candidates even if they are archived from the search bar. This is not possible now and I have to unarchive a job to find the candidate.

Reason for choosing Discovered

We were with ADP TS at the time and their program was difficult to maneuver and their customer service stunk. Thankfully I received an email from THT and I responded. I am grateful and reached out!

Pros

The applicant tracking system keeps our applicants in an order of when they applied, per company they applied for. I am able to tract which applicants were sent assessments and which we deemed not qualified. I appreciate the ease of use and how helpful the Hire Talent associates are when I need assistance.

Cons

There is nothing I feel that needs to be improved.

Fantastic! I am definitely learning a lot about the Blindspot I have in hiring so that I can hire a better team!

Pros

1\. Customer support to help educate and analyze candidates. I’m learning my own gaps in knowledge of how to hire people and picking out what I want to know more about specific people. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and his team are very good about teaching this. 2. The testing that gives a whole deeper dive into a person’s personality and ability to tease out information. 3. Automation. If the first two points weren’t well worth the value already, we’ve gotten a ROI just in the automation piece of the process. No more hunting down references and asking them to call back. Great email templates that save time.

Cons

I really want more of structured feature for recording my interview notes and they say this is coming so I am excited to get more into this feature. I would also like a feature to export everything about the candidate from their profile to test results to résumé and one nice PDF in order to upload into their personnel file. They are definitely open to adding additional features and making things as customizable as possible per your organizations needs.

He gives me clear direction and very helpful hints. \[ Sensitive Content \] has an incredible interviewing process that is thorough. I have learned a lot about recruiting and feel confident that we can find good people because of Hire Talent's support and good software.

Pros

I like how easy it is to track the applicant and schedule interviews and change statuses. I feel confident I am communicating timely and properly with people through the interviewing process. The assessments are great and easy to send to people as well.

Cons

I am not totally sure yet, but one thing I noticed is when I click on a candidate's profile, I would like to see the resume in a larger view. I have to zoom in and it can be cumbersome.

I love Hire Talent assessments and I do not make any hiring decisions without it. Often times in an interview I will have a sense about a candidate. Upon the candidate completing an assessment it will usually clarify for me what I was feeling or sensing during the interview. On the few occasions we went outside the test recommendations and made the hire anyway - we have regretted it. It is an essential component to the interview process. But it is just that, one component of what should be a multi-factor decision.

Pros

Ease of use, Customizable, Lots of Options, Accuracy in readings

Cons

Results can be hard to interpret at times but a review by the company clarifies any questions you have.

Results from the Hire Talent have helped us to improve our questions for applicants. Also, when we do hire employees, we know what their strengths and weaknesses are and can tailor our training for them. This software helps us to select better employees.

Pros

It really does give a fantastic overview of a prospective employee's aptitude and abilities. The results are mostly understandable. In times where you are not sure of the results, customer service is available to help.

Cons

The Word & Excel tests are a few versions behind what everyone is using. Candidates also complained about being able to complete the Word & Excel assessments.

nightmare of websites and lack of info. I most of this is changed with your new platform but still if one test contains several test within it you need to let us know what tests are within the test

Overall I definitely think it is worth the investment. We've been able to make smarter hires for some critical roles such as sales and customer support. The cost is offset in the long run since there is lower turnover so we end up saving a ton on recruiting and training.

Pros

We've been using The Hire Talent to administer assessments to new candidates as part of their interview process. The reports we receive provide valuable insight into the thinking process of the new-hire and help us predict how successful that hire could be in that specific role.

Cons

There aren't too many problematic red flags, just a few minor things that come to mind. I think the client portal could use some updating. It isn't the most intuitive interface. Also one the reports, there is a section for "chance of a good hire". These numbers often seem like a shocker compared to how the person had performed on some parts of the assessment, so I'd say not to read too much into that score.

Over I find out the software very useful due to the fact of having a hands on practice since an interview day, this helps us have lots more vision in regards to the type of profiles received and also guides us through decision making.

Cons

There is situations in which the page gets frozen and we have to start all over.
