for a while i did use it daily for freelance projects and private life planning. also used it for some scrum-like sprints, more the execute part of it than the planning and strategy

Pros

easy to use, good functionlity in the free version. good for small projects and private use or freelance use

Cons

would love unlimited space to add text in the cards (it is limited in my free version, maybe paid version as well

Reason for choosing MeisterTask

in fact, first i used meister task - then switched to AHA! because of the big functional advantages when it comes to product launch and strategy. it is at the same time way more complex to learn and use it, so it is not really comparable to meister task. still use meister task and recommend it to others...

very functional as a brain storming tool & project management. along with the brain-mapping feature it's a great way to start a project and create checkpoints and deadlines.

Pros

I like the ease of use and the ability to have tasks both as big complicated projects or as a 1-liner.

Cons

I found it hard to manage projects' status, And deleting it once done so it wouldn't take up space.

### "Very good and easy software for task managing"

It is easy and simple to use, which saves time, compared to similar software solutions. I use it for all my work tasks. Being a project manager, and having the responsibility for managing 10-12 projects, it is a must to have a software that can contain all my tasks where I have the possibility to add my own tags, which makes it easy for me to get a quick overview of all my projects. I could not do my job without this software.

Pros

It is easy and simple to use, which saves time, compared to similar software solutions. I use it for all my work tasks. ### "Improved project planning and management"

Before Meister Task, having a centralized Project management system that allowed us to keep track of projects, assign tasks and reporting on progress was a nightmare. We find it a lot easier these days because of MT.

Pros

The software platforms are seamlessly integrated and I have access to my tasks on the go.

Cons

I haven't yet found any issues with this software but as soon as I do, I'll definitely bring them up to the dev team. However, providing for the ability to add project level resources (files and attachments) would be nice. Absence of email updates on pending tasks (not calender based) could also be useful.

Overall, I have enjoyed using Meistertask as it has provided me the ability to manage my workload and communicate with my team.

Pros

I like how you can create projects with different teams and then categories within each project so then you can add your tasks accordingly. The UI is pretty easy to figure out and I like how there is a mobile app available for when I'm not in the office.

Cons

A few minor UI related items such as having to click the "X" when saving the task; it's not intuitive and makes me think that I am not saving my data. I would expect to see some sort of Save button. I also wish there was better layouts for printing.

It is the major tool for my software projects, that I can easily access and keep record/track of my work. I appreciate the your efforts on bringing up this great tool.

Pros

I really like the single page kanban board approach that helps me organize my personal projects easily and in a fast manner.

Cons

I think grouping subtasks in a major task option can be improved. It would be good to drag an task to complete instead of opening it and hitting the button.(If it has open subtask, providing a warning would be nice) Same for deleting a task, dragging would be much more convenient.

I use free plan few years and very glad that started to use it.

Pros

Ease of use. I like that MT has built in time tracking feature and other ticket features like chaining tickets. I like that MT has free plan. Actually free MT has almost all the features I need to work.

Cons

Nothing I can put here. I can say that cons is that free MT has no all the features at free plan but it will be not fair statement.

Great usability. Nice look and feel. you maybe could offer more images to choose from manually in the free version :-) But overall...awesome!!

Pros

I use Meistertask Free for me and my Teams. We use it for Projects and as "normal" Backlog Software, where we put in all our Ideas and open issues. We are a Service Delivery Department and not a software developement company or something. So implementing a Kanban Board cost me some time to convince everybody.

Cons

Not that much points to be honest. We are happy so gar with the free version. Especially with the usability.

Efficiency of project and task management as well as improvement in communication across team members.

Pros

MeisterTask is bar far my first choice for a task and project management program. Not only does it have advanced functionality for cross-collaboration between team members, it also has an app for Apple devices, as well as a desktop app for my PC. What really elevates this product is that the free product is all that you will ever need. It didn't cost the company a thing and has led to great efficiency and communication.

Cons

The only con I want to note is the inability to set recurring patterns within the platform itself, you have to register for a sister platform to allow for that functionality.

Pros

The software makes it so easy to add tasks and to visually see the projects on your schedule. It's much easier to use than others on the market today.

Cons

Notification... to be fair, I haven't really spent much time on how this works.

Helps me organize and delegate tasks quickly.

Pros

I really like the Meitertask interface. Clean, beautiful and organized. One of the factors that made me choose Meistertask instead of Trello was the direct integration with Mindmeister. It is absolutely fantastic to delegate tasks to your team directly through the mind map.

Cons

Sometimes the interface has been buggy. For example, the background on the home screen often does not load on slow network connections, and makes it impossible to read project names, forcing the user to reload the page.

Wonderful way to leave pen to paper and enhance with digital project management. This is fantastic to share with other co-workers who are working on projects with you, and allows you to add outlook emails in when needed create new tasks.

Pros

Ease of use and integration features with Outlook for emails. Ability to reprioritize tasks on the fly. Rate tasks via color coding. Being able to archive old tasks. Being able to share projects with others.

Cons

That you cannot add a target date to the checklist items within tasks. This way you can re-prioritze task "checklist" targets as well. That would be a great to have that to work in the tool more effectively.

Pros

Allowed me to quickly build up task lists so that I can divide up my tasks into urgent / not urgent and also delegate these tasks to my team.

Pros

MeisterTask is perfect for my needs. There are so many different things that can be done both in and through MeisterTask. For example, we have it set up to automatically input tasks through a department-wide form, in which a title, description, and due date can all be automatically assigned. MeisterTask allows easy task delegation and notification upon completion. As stated in the title, it is clean, efficient, powerful, organized, and we couldn't love it more or imagine our workplace without it.

Cons

Sometimes, the bright colors can be overwhelming, but the color coding is still very efficient.

My Overall experience was very good. A proper management tool. Ultimately they were given free limited accounts.

Pros

We are using this product for task management. Truly it is efficient to assign tasks and manage team member's processes daily. Timely notifications help us know about movement in the board. This is a proper task management tool, they have "Due Date", "Tags", "Watchers" features that are more impactful.

Cons

I don't have much but need some more features in the "Comment Box".

Love it. An incredibly powerful tool to mange your projects, and even your life goals.

Pros

The feature I like the most is the ability to comment on each task and collaborate with board users through Meistertask. It keeps all the activity on one platform rather than having to use a separate messenger.

Cons

The only thing I would improve is the way you format the notes in each section of each card. It's no Microsoft Word. But, it also doesn't influence my planning process or using any other feature of the software.

Overview of where work was at in a project.

Pros

I love the dashboard feature that gives you an overview of everything assigned to you (a feature lacking in several similar Kaban board alternatives). The program is very easy to use and onboarding my team onto the software was simple and worked well.

Cons

MeisterTask gives you a free month of pro when you refer someone; however, when my month expired rather than downgrading me to basic they kept my subscription at Pro and had it "locked" till I paid for the pro account. I had to email support and ask them to give me back access to my account given I did not want, nor request to be upgraded to pro. This happened twice and at one point my entire team was locked out of our project. It is a great idea, easy to use and has a very aesthetically pleasing layout, but they are still working out a lot of kinks. The shortcuts are also not as comprehensive as Trello and makes quickly assigning, labeling and moving lots of work down a pipeline difficult.
