Comments: First a context - this is a new POS system, and so not all the on-the-floor or reporting functionality that we want is there yet. However, the management support and customer service are incredibly hands on, pro-active and responsive. The relationship with Skywire always feels more like a collaboration than as a customer.


- Any problems/questions/requests are responded to within minutes. Because the system is cloud-based, our Skywire rep is able to instantly diagnose and troubleshoot our system remotely. Our service, 'how-do-we?' and data request calls have all been resolved to our satisfaction quickly.

-Easy interface that anyone can use. We are a teaching restaurant, and Skywire is often the first POS our students have been introduced to. The interface is intuitive and easy for our students to learn quickly.

-Menu and floor-plan updates are very easy.

-Reservation/table management/POS functions data integration - this is a big draw for us - the integrated data (from guest reservation to check drop to turn) is valuable for planning purposes.


-Reporting functions are still developing. We are hoping to do some deeper analytic with our sales data, and that functionality is still being developed. Raw data is accessible, but the custom report-building functionality that we're looking for is still in development. Granted, we are requesting flexibility that most restauranteurs likely will not be using.

-We are looking for more custom order printing capabilities into the kitchen.

Comments: The system was easy for us to learn and implement. Any time we have needed any additional materials or assistance, we have gotten a quick and helpful response. Great tech support and the system is very user friendly. Very pleased with our results and overall experience.

Comments: Our company has had this POS system in for over 3 weeks. System constantly freezes or goes down. Tech support on graveyard takes over an hour to respond. Can't close out or start tabs. To many steps just to put in a simple order or comp drinks. Maybe this POS shouldn't be in a gaming bar.
