Having changed over from one provider to Pabau there is a lot more to offer in order to make digital records easier to manage, however for a small business with 3 staff it has been time consuming and at times very slow in getting set up. The staff have been very supportive and and the support team have been quick to action any requests and issues we have had.

Pros

excellent staff support in transferring data from previous provide, lots of training given, academy easy to use, patients finding it easy to book appointments and use portal once registered. Lots of ways of informing patients about treatments and what they entail. Ability to prepopulate forms and use AI and Macros

Cons

Setting up forms and services very long winded and complicated at times. No direct links to individual treatments. Having to earn or buy SMS credits, as a small business this can become very expensive, would be ideal if whatsapp was integrated into system. Not being able to add an editable table into the treatment notes so that on going treatments such as laser settings can be seen on one page and not across all the treatment notes.

My overall experience has been very positive. It has made daily tasks quicker and more organised, especially when dealing with a high number of patients. It also makes communication with patients much easier, which improves the overall experience for both staff and patients.

From a front desk perspective, the biggest benefit is how easy it is to manage bookings and patient communication in one place. The calendar is clear, reminders go out automatically, and it really reduces missed appointments. It makes the day feel a lot more controlled and less stressful.

Cons

At the start, there are quite a lot of features to explore, but once you understand how everything fits together, it actually becomes very efficient. It’s more about getting familiar with the system rather than any real downside.

Overall, I’d say Pabau is a solid system for running a clinic. It brings everything into one place which makes day-to-day work a lot easier, compared to using multiple systems, it’s definitely a big upgrade.

Cons

Some parts of the system aren’t as intuitive as they could be, so it takes time to learn properly. Also, when something goes wrong, getting support can sometimes take longer than expected without dedicated support available.

As a start up clinic, Pabau on-boarding has been a pleasant experience. The team is knowledgeable and dives right in to your back office processes with great suggestions when you need a digitized or simple solution. The software is agile and can achieve just about any scenario you can think of. I will rate the experience a 10 of 10

Pros

Pabau Success team is impressive and the business model is really built to help you succeed. I am an experienced IT Professional and 2 things stood out to me when evaluating Pabau 2 and immediately after our purchase. The fact that the dev team built a new platform form to eliminate technical debt and kludgy performance, impressed me at hello. I am mid on-boarding journey and the success team is available. I say that again, I did not purchase a product to only be left learning with minimal support. They check in, they provide work arounds and yes, I have witnessed them submitting bug fixes on my behalf. The power of this software is meeting and succeeding my expectations. Do not join the freeware crowd, your infrastructure can make or break you in time. I want to enjoy running my business, not dealing with poor performing software. Thank you Pabau, you're on the way to be the Med-Spa industry standard.

Cons

Probably the only feedback I have at this moment, is the number of emails I receive with follow ups and post meeting notes. It can be overwhelming when you have 2+ calls a week with the success team and I am starting to become immune to them. I know this will lessen as we get deeper into the on-boarding but the flip side it also demonstrates strong software capabilities which is exactly what I was looking for.

Yes, I also conducted an end user feedback on the other clinical software. It was important to me to that my team had a positive experience with our EHR. and clients with the patient portal. I am certain Pabau's intuitive UI will be a pleasant surprise for end-users and patients. Most other offerings are clunky and suffer latency issues bc of technical debt and improvements built on top of bad designs. I was drawn to Pabau 2 because the re-built the platform. I knew they had better insight this round to build a special SaaS knowing they were leaving the outdated features & technical designs in the past.

Have been friendly and helpful aside from not discussing credits and their importance in practice. They promise 24/7 access to assistance and I really hope this is the case. In the past, our EMR experiences once we went live we couldn't get assistance for days at a time.

Pros

I appreciate that they are helping me setup the account and tailoring it to my practice. I love that I will have everything in one place for managing our practice.

Cons

Not sure how the credit system will work for primary care as I have to use credits for daily use. This was not explained prior to signing the contact. The onboarding has been pretty smooth to date. I am anxious to move our patient data over and see how accessible the information in within Pabau.

Pros

Pabau has a great user interface and appointment scheduling is super easy. The customer support team are incredibly helpful and always try to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. I find it easy to use and set up my own individual features so that my patient management is made much easier. it does get bugs and issues but these are resolved quickly and we are always informed a to how long it may take which is helpful.

Cons

The initial set up felt intimidating but the staff are helpful and now you can use video screen recording links to help with any problems which means explaining any problems to the staff is so much easier as they can see the issue from the video.

Cons

Switch to pabau 2 is taking some time to fully navigate. The report name changes are challenging. some aspects are live but not fully functional (online GV purchases cannot be bought for new clients). Some aspects were switched back on like feedback where this was off on version 1.

We are a new practice and the ease of which we can update our electronic forms and patient data be replicated in provider treatment notes or vice versa is a game changer. I used to dread charting, Pabau makes it fun!

Pros

I am a nurse and use Pabau daily for charting, and it has quickly become one of my favorite clinical tools. The interface is clean, modern, and intuitive, which makes documenting patient encounters much faster and far less stressful—especially on busy clinic days. The customization options are outstanding. I can tailor treatment notes, forms, and workflows to match exactly how our clinic practices, which helps keep our documentation consistent and efficient. The AI dictation feature has been a huge time-saver, accurately capturing my notes and reducing the amount of typing I have to do. One of the biggest advantages is how seamlessly Pabau pulls information from other parts of the workflow into the clinical record. Everything connects smoothly, so I’m not constantly jumping between screens or duplicating documentation. If I had to note one challenge, it’s that some of the terminology and logic are EU-focused. As a US-based user, I occasionally need clarification on which features apply to our regulations. But the support team has been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve needed clarification. Overall, Pabau has improved both my charting efficiency and the quality of our clinic's records. I highly recommend it to any clinic looking for a smarter, more streamlined way to document patient care.

Cons

The App is not as intuitive as the web version, the pop up windows and navigation is not as user friendly as the web version. I also find my self having to refresh frequently in the day to "wake up" the user interface.
