As the clinic owner and a provider, the onboarding with Pabau has been fantastic. We’ve felt supported at every step, and the team has truly empowered us to customize and refine our environment to match our clinic’s needs. The process has been smooth, encouraging, and gives us confidence that we can continually adapt the system as we grow. However, we do find the APP is not as robust as the web version. We planned for iPad's and quickly determined we would rather us a PC or MAC.

Pros

As a provider, Pabau has been a game-changer for our clinic. The level of customization is outstanding from tailoring forms to adapting workflows, it truly feels like the software adapts to us rather than the other way around. The modern, intuitive UI makes navigating patient records and treatment notes effortless, even on busy days. Their AI features are a standout. The dictation tool is fast, accurate, and cuts documentation time in half. I also love how easily Pabau lets us merge data from other workflows directly into the clinical record. Everything stays seamless, organized, and centralized without the usual copy-and-paste chaos. Overall, Pabau delivers a smooth, smart, and efficient experience that supports both clinical flow and patient care. Highly recommend it to any practice looking to upgrade their digital operations.

Cons

y least favorite part of Pabau is that some of the naming conventions and workflow logic are very EU-specific. As a US-based provider, I sometimes have to remind myself that certain features don’t apply to our regulations or clinic processes. There are moments where I need to escalate things to support just to clarify why a feature matters in the EU but functions differently here in the US. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it does add a small learning curve for American clinics using the system.

What I like most about Pabau is how seamlessly it integrates every aspect of my clinic into one system, client records, scheduling, consent forms, marketing, and reporting. It’s intuitive, reliable, and continually improving. The support team are genuinely knowledgeable and proactive, always happy to help with advice or training. It’s made managing a busy aesthetic clinic so much more efficient and professional.

Cons

There’s a bit of a learning curve at first because it’s such a comprehensive system, but once you get used to it, it’s incredibly efficient. Occasionally updates take a little getting used to, but the support team are always quick to guide you through any changes.

Pros

I recently started with Pabau and so far their value, customer support, and offerings have checked all of the boxes. I have trials three other EMR systems and Pabau definitely offers more than the others.

Cons

The only con is that they are a UK based company and I am in the US. They have still worked to ensure that I am taken care of even with the time change.

Amazing so far I’ve only joined a couple of months ago. I’ve been working specifically with \[sensitive content hidden\] who has helped me from scratch. She’s been exceptional; really took time to understand exactly what I need and helped me build just that. \[sensitive content hidden\] has been so patient and has helped me pretty much from a to Z of how to use the software and the features that will benefit me and my clinic specifically.

Informative, simple to use and plentiful resource for private clinics. I like how pabau integrates with signature rx specifically

Cons

Some limitations in questionnaire builds. Not ideal but we go with it. I suppose the other features then compensated for this

Overall Pabau is great for what you need. when it is flowing through it works wonders, some of the features are amazing for the business, especially the braodcasts, online bookings and so much more.

Pros

integrated systems - Leads, Online bookings, Pabau Go mobile app for ipads.Flow throughs for patient pathways. Automated systems. Customer tickets to report issues and how quickly they get resolves, The more I use the system on a daily basis the more i get from the Pabau system, just sending a marketing email on broadcast is very easy. Implementing is easy with xero and other apps, follow this up with ticketed customer support that get actioned quickly 24/7 it is amazing. I have also used the community topics folder to recommend what is best to help the system and they have taken some great recommendations.

Cons

The extras marketing plus, Care plus. using credits for the AI feature and how the system is moving forward with any more plus features to make that extra couples of £££. alomg with the price of the system does add up.

We've had Pabau as our clinic software for circa 4 years now. The system has continued to develop and improve continuously... the team are very reactive and always helpful. Our business has grown substantially over this period of time and Pabau has the scope to stick with us as we continue - we now use the system for our membership schemes, lead management, card terminal & multiple sites. Would very much recommend if you are considering changing your clinic software or indeed starting from scratch!

The system is continuously developing, as such there are teething issues from time to time. However these are always dealt with quickly and efficiently by the team.

There was not any aspect that I disliked. I think the process of setting up the account took about 4 weeks in total but I definitely think that is needed to ensure all the different aspects of the system are to your likes and needs for the business.

Excellent. Focused (even when I was sleep deprived, finding funding, and trying to conduct the grand symphony of tasks related to opening up a new practice). The best practices shared and the guidance given by Pabau were, and continue to be, a vital source of direction in a completely new territory.

Pros

Friendly from the start, started me step-wise in understanding their very user friendly interface. Our calls were professional and efficient, but always maintained an unmistakable humanity to them. Huge shout out to \[sensitive content hidden\] for the strategic guidance and sage methods of presenting our offerings in ways I had not even thought of. And of course, humongous props to \[sensitive content hidden\] for understanding our product from the onset, making erudite suggestions about how we should structure our EMR to maximize efficiency/minimize data entry. When we had deadlines materialize out of nowhere (things tend to happen like that when you're starting your own practice, I've come to \[painfully\] find out) he would find a way to fit me into his tight schedule to solve the issue swiftly and efficiently; at times, speaking directly to my web designer to expedite the process. I see i'm supposed to mention bugs and issues above. So far? Smooth sailing with no perceivable snags.

Cons

Surprisingly, the only thing that was somewhat needlessly psychedelic was some of the onboarding where if you couldn't meet at a very early hour, you'd have to cater what Pabau's main conference calls at 1 AM due to the vast differences in time zones.

While the less expensive software options were adequate, Pabau 2 truly streamlines and simplifies the day-to-day running of my business. It offers nearly every feature I require, with the exception of being able to customise the lead capture form.

At times certain functions can glich or not allow you to save new information. Pabau can usually sort these problems out fairly quickly.

10/10 Pabau is a user-friendly and efficient software that makes managing the clinic so much easier. It offers a wide range of great features for scheduling, patient management, and marketing—all in one place. It’s also reasonably priced compared to other systems, making it a great value for what it provides.

Pros

Pabau is an amazing all-in-one clinic software that keeps everything organized—patients, bookings, notes, and marketing—all in one place. It’s intuitive, efficient, and a true game-changer for any aesthetic or medical practice.

Cons

The only downside is the e-prescription feature—I wish it could send prescriptions electronically to the pharmacy instead of via fax or email, since most pharmacies don’t check those regularly.

Overall, it’s been a really positive experience. It’s made patient communication much more consistent and professional. It also helps ensure patients don’t get forgotten after their initial visit, which improves retention and overall satisfaction.

Pros

What stands out most for me is how strong the communication and marketing side is. Being able to send targeted messages, reminders, and follow-ups makes a big difference in keeping patients engaged. It helps build better relationships rather than just one-off visits

Cons

There are quite a few options when it comes to campaigns and messaging, so it takes a bit of time to understand what works best. However, once you get used to it, it actually gives you a lot of flexibility in how you communicate with patients.
