### "Starting out with Pabau"

Having changed over from one provider to Pabau there is a lot more to offer in order to make digital records easier to manage, however for a small business with 3 staff it has been time consuming and at times very slow in getting set up. The staff have been very supportive and and the support team have been quick to action any requests and issues we have had.

Pros

excellent staff support in transferring data from previous provide, lots of training given, academy easy to use, patients finding it easy to book appointments and use portal once registered. Lots of ways of informing patients about treatments and what they entail. Ability to prepopulate forms and use AI and Macros

Cons

Setting up forms and services very long winded and complicated at times. No direct links to individual treatments. Having to earn or buy SMS credits, as a small business this can become very expensive, would be ideal if whatsapp was integrated into system. Not being able to add an editable table into the treatment notes so that on going treatments such as laser settings can be seen on one page and not across all the treatment notes.

easy diary management, good for patient record and concern forms, straightforward to use, helpful marketing features

Pros

Easy to use and and good support from the team during the set up and ongoing. Covers all areas of running business at good price point.

Cons

very slow at times and often comes up with issues. occasionally it is difficult to find the patient using telephone number

Great customer support. I had couple of issues and the Pabau team helped to solve the issue with ease and suggest some alternatives.

Cons

Performance is slow and sometimes is lagging. The leads section/ reports and few section takes time to load.

Has a lot of useful features I haven’t been using to date •booking system with deposit options . My clinic’s logo and branding appear on forms •SMS/email reminders, aftercare emails, and follow-ups are all automated

Cons

Repeated outages / inability to access my calendar etc due to technical faults The system is powerful but can feel overwhelming at first, and require assistance to navigate and learn all the features

Pros

Pabau has a great user interface and appointment scheduling is super easy. The customer support team are incredibly helpful and always try to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. I find it easy to use and set up my own individual features so that my patient management is made much easier. it does get bugs and issues but these are resolved quickly and we are always informed a to how long it may take which is helpful.

Cons

The initial set up felt intimidating but the staff are helpful and now you can use video screen recording links to help with any problems which means explaining any problems to the staff is so much easier as they can see the issue from the video.

Pros

How fast and informative to resolve the concern. She was very friendly and explained things to me. It was nice.

Cons

Not being able to give the option for my client to tip on an invoice. However, thats only because that is what I was use to before.

Pabau has been amazing. After using many other softwares for the clinic in the past this has by far been the most user friendly. The staff are also extremely helpful . Thankyou!

Pros

The customer support is amazing , I think for what they charge, you truly get value for money. I also like that patients can have control of their diarys too.

Cons

I wouldn’t say this was a big issue at all but maybe having a sector especially for dentistry would be great as it is more aesthetics based.

Having everything in one spot gives me such a peace of mind and has made me feel significantly less stressed. For a new business, affordability is key, and Pabau delivers great value. What really stands out is the support - the walkthrough has been fantastic, and they truly guide you through everything step by step. I highly recommend it to anyone - starting up or established as I can see myself using this for a long time to come.

The transition from alternative software highlighted just how much more efficient and intuitive Pabau 2 is for managing every aspect of my clinic. The support team is consistently responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping my business succeed. While the investment is significant, the comprehensive features and peace of mind it provides make it well worth it. Pabau 2 has truly elevated the way I run my clinic, allowing me to focus more on my clients and less on admin.

Pros

The setup process is fully supported and carried out efficiently, with excellent communication and clarity at every stage. The support team is highly responsive, offering clear guidance and straightforward instructions. Pabau 2 is exceptionally user-friendly and offers a comprehensive range of features designed to optimise client record-keeping and communications.

Cons

Pabau is certainly an investment, and I was initially tempted to rate it 4 out of 5 stars for this reason. However, it remains the best solution I’ve found for my clinic. Having used Pabau 1 from 2021 to 2023, I switched to a more budget-friendly alternative during my maternity leave. While the less expensive software options were adequate, Pabau 2 truly streamlines and simplifies the day-to-day running of my business. It offers nearly every feature I require, with the exception of being able to customise the lead capture form.

user friendly. Pabau 2 definite improvement on Pabau 1. Lots of new functions for enhanced productivity. Love the membership & package options + the echo AI. Switch over is well supported, would like to specifically mention \[sensitive content hidden\] who has explained things well.

Cons

Switch to pabau 2 is taking some time to fully navigate. The report name changes are challenging. some aspects are live but not fully functional (online GV purchases cannot be bought for new clients). Some aspects were switched back on like feedback where this was off on version 1.

Excellent. Focused (even when I was sleep deprived, finding funding, and trying to conduct the grand symphony of tasks related to opening up a new practice). The best practices shared and the guidance given by Pabau were, and continue to be, a vital source of direction in a completely new territory.

Pros

Friendly from the start, started me step-wise in understanding their very user friendly interface. Our calls were professional and efficient, but always maintained an unmistakable humanity to them. Huge shout out to \[sensitive content hidden\] for the strategic guidance and sage methods of presenting our offerings in ways I had not even thought of. And of course, humongous props to \[sensitive content hidden\] for understanding our product from the onset, making erudite suggestions about how we should structure our EMR to maximize efficiency/minimize data entry. When we had deadlines materialize out of nowhere (things tend to happen like that when you're starting your own practice, I've come to \[painfully\] find out) he would find a way to fit me into his tight schedule to solve the issue swiftly and efficiently; at times, speaking directly to my web designer to expedite the process. I see i'm supposed to mention bugs and issues above. So far? Smooth sailing with no perceivable snags.

Cons

Surprisingly, the only thing that was somewhat needlessly psychedelic was some of the onboarding where if you couldn't meet at a very early hour, you'd have to cater what Pabau's main conference calls at 1 AM due to the vast differences in time zones.

Pros

The customer support is great, they are easily contactable and responsive, any issues are resolved quickly. The system itself does a lot for you when you utilise its features. Your dedicated team are amazing at meeting you to set everything up so you can make the most of the whole system, but also great at continued development and growth. Pabau is quite a logical system so when navigating it’s easy to use.

Cons

Some processes can have many steps which if you’re not familiar with can take time getting used to. But once you start spending time on the system the processes are logical.
