Pros: The person who was the tech support representative online chat was helpful in addressing my technical issues.

Cons: The software that I was using is not so user friendly and the price is very expensive for the features I'm using. Im using an unlimited feature which I only need less than 25 which is very necessary. Wish they have some sort of cheaper in between plans.

Pros: The system is very easy and fast to setup. I love the new features that are continiously added. Support is very helpfull.

Cons: There are some settings and ways of doing that are limited in options and customization for my business.

Overall: Time to market with a working booking system.

Pros: The chat support was super helpful every time I asked a question which was several times. I'm a bit technically challenged and they helped me every step of the way. I like the layout of the webpage that I put together.

Cons: Some of the terminology is not obvious too me, but again, I'm a bit technically challenged. Facebook had a hard time copying a link so I could post it, but the Simply support staff helped me figure that out.

Overall: I have not implemented it's use yet, but did do a test run and set up an appointment with a payment. It worked as advertised! I like the look of it and most things were pretty easy to set up. When I did have problems, the chat support staff was outstanding! Not something you find that often these days.

Pros: The system offers great flexibility and ease of usage after you have mastered it. Reduce my workload of booking the clients.

Cons: There is a steep learning curve. The system can be confusing for beginners. Custom features too expensive.

Pros: Accepts online payments even on a free account
30 days Free Trial which is long enough to try all of the costum features. It actually helped me decide to upgrade when my free trial is over.

Cons: Poor customer support. I signed up for the Free account. After logging out, I couldnt log in. Tried "forgert password/forget company login" but no email has been sent to my inbox. Tried chatting with their live chat, but it wasnt so "live" after all. I left a message but I didnt get any message in my inbox from them. Tried sending a message via their Facebook page which says "typically replies within a few hours" but until now there was no response. So I signed up again using a different email. This time, I screen shot my login details. I set up Simplybook according to my company's needs etc. When I tried logging in again after a few hours, I couldn't login using the login details I used (which I have screen shot earlier).Went through the same steps mentioned above to retrieve my login details (just in case I have the password wrong) and to no avail. I didnt get any email to reset password nor to find my company login. How can I use the system if it wont let me log in.

Overall: I cant tell since I cannot log in after logging out.

It is strange to hear about this login problem as we have thousands of users logging in every single day, and hundreds of new users being able to login as well. As for the FaceBook answer, you sent your question in on a Sunday, which is day off, and should have been answered on Monday but you were answered on the Tuesday. Our Live support would however have responded to you live, right away during workdays as they are on 24 hours per day, answering hundreds of clients. We are however not using FB for support issues as we have live support on our site all workdays and therefore we rarely get questions sent there. Pros: all the custom features are awesome. It is the only automated booking system that suits our needs (and we have tried a lot)

Cons: We have a lot of different services that are very similar, with only slight differences in the time or cost. We also have different instruments (categories) for these different services. Without a duplication feature when creating services, it took me literally 3 straight days (16 - 20hrs) literally!! to setup all our services one by one. It was very frustrating and I didn't even know at that point if the software was going to fit our needs. Luckily it did! A duplication would surely be a welcomed addition for all using the software. I really liked the welcome videos provided in the interface, but I feel there is a serious lack of descriptive videos on all the features available online. I would strongly recommend adding more.

Pros: The ability to have multiple versions running at the same time for separate events is ideal for our usage

Cons: When exporting to Excel the telephone number is not displayed in the usual format and some of the input on the booking forms is not captured

Pros: Since I discovered this service in 2013, I have been using it as an on-line self-service appointment scheduler. The flexibility to customize our appointment times, dates and number of persons per appointment is fabulous. I also like the report listing and that I can import it in to Google Calendar for others to manage the schedule. Great value for the cost and the fact that I can pay just to use it for 3 months and my set-ups are not deleted is great. We don¿t have a need for a 365 day a year scheduler.

Cons: The recent website updates have been a little confusing for me; however, I only use the system once a year to set-up our appointments. I get lost best I don't know how to best set things up; however, the on-line help and the Live Chat features help me out without fail.

Overall: Professional service/product and expectional value.
Everyone, i've contacted through the years have been so kind and wonderful.

Pros: It's easy to use, like a normal calendar app. I can see what my schedule looks like as I'm making the changes instead of hoping that I got everything right and checking once I'm done. It's easy for my clients too.

Cons: I wish it would translate the time zone to the client's time zone, or make it more obvious that the appointment times are in Mountain time. I've had a lot of people miss the note at the top that clearly says the time zone.

Overall: It's a great way for clients to book time with me. Instead of playing scheduling ping-pong, I just post or send the link and they can pick a time that will work for both of us.

It seems that your anger arises yesterday after we granted you a Gold subscription for free (normally costs $29) while you insisted on getting unlimited subscription ($59) for free to continue your full system testing long after your normal testing period ran out. Giving us a bad rating for this is simply unfair and not much more is needed to be said here. Fortunately most of our users know that we do put all our efforts into providing the best customer service in the industry and as can been seen in most of our previous reviews almost everybody comments on outstanding customer support. Pros: I like how easy this is to use...once you learn it. The tech support is helpful, but if they have to email you it can take days.

Cons: I think it's ridiculous that a client can't reschedule an appointment on their own, and that they have to call me. It's such a hassle for a client to either have to call me or if they cancel and reschedule then they have to pay againa and then I have to deal with refund issues. Too may nooks and crannies and the user interface could be improved.

Overall: I don't have to schedule 450 seniors by telephone; they can do it online!

Pros: Our charity uses this software to administer the loan of free family passes to local attractions. Families love being able to choose and book directly, and our staff are freed to do other tasks - we have doubled the number of passes being used by families already, and have capacity to add more in future if needed

Cons: Interface isn't the easiest to understand, and needed a few non-obvious tweaks to get it working the way we needed, but Live Chat staff are always helpful, and we get there in the end!

Overall: Easier for our clients to choose and book, frees staff time for other work

Pros: The ease of use for customers; the limited number of customisation possibilities helps go to the point when describing the company; both user and admin interface terms can be customised in one's language

Cons: customer data not stored in my country... (in the near future, this will become illegal); a better integration with CalDav would be appreciated (automatic push to my calendar using CalDav)

Pros: The ability to do the two-way calendar sync, and also the SSL function - this allows me to update my availability from my smartphone, and keeps my client data secure (which is also good for their peace of mind).

Cons: I would like SSL to be as standard, not an extra feature. Also, it would be nice to have HTML formatting and the ability to add logos / branding etc. to the booking confirmation / reminder emails sent to customers.

Overall: Able to schedule client appointments / add a useful booking facility to my website (work in progress).

Pros: I like the way I can integrate on my facebook page and homepage. With book button simple, and a page where people can see more in detail!

Cons: Its really hard to connect paying options, though you are covering a lot of methods which is great.

Difficulties of making changes to button look, styles etc. Not when I found the menu for that, but just the overall organizing of the functionality for the user.

Overall: To provide an option for my costumers to book my service in an easy step by step method.

Pros: THe software works really well for me as customers are able to book appointments when I am not able to take calls / when I am closed. That the software enables me to provide details of the services I offer, that I can make each service a different length of time (for a long time I thought I would not be able to use this software as some appointments need to be one hour and others one and a half hours. It is great that It syncs with my google diary automatically.

Cons: I am unable to log in to the software though my android phone which is a real downpoint. Also when I log in via my face book page I seem to need to repeat the log in process. My customers have tried to download the app but have reported to me that it does not work - I have not tried it however.

Overall: It saves me time and it makes it easier for customers to book an appointment with me.

To address your comments, if you use Chrome or Firefox on your android device you should not have any problems logging into your system. Please contact our Live Chat support if you experience such problems. As for the facebook login, I have asked our tester to look into that, it should not need double login process, so if there is a problem there it will be fixed. With regards to the app then we have been updating a lot of features recently and it often takes a bit longer to update the apps. We actually recommend all clients to book directly through the web page as it is fully mobile responsive so in fact there is no need for the client booking app. Kind regards The SimplyBook.me team

Pros: Is a waste of time, so complicated to set up and use... and when i finally need it, the link was broken forever

Cons: the support is terrible, they block my user for ever so now they suggest to create a new account with a different name and I want to use my company name.. terrible

We pride ourselves in outstanding support who reply quickly and thoroughly and your complaint has nothing to do with the support team. Only free users can loose their account, and that can only happen after many months of no usage nor renewing the system even after repeated reminders on our behalf to do so. In such cases this user/domain is considered as inactive as per our Terms&Conditions and hence due to technical reasons can not be renewed again under the same name. We had complaints before from users when we did not delete accounts that were not in use, as they kept on getting bookings without them knowing about it when they had stopped using the system. We are sorry that you did not renew in time, but hope this explains our point of view and why we have to disable long nonactive accounts. Kind regards

Pros: Booking process can be simple

Cons: complicated to set up, non existing customer service - I left an email and 3 days later still havent heard anything. It 'features' are not clear within the payment plans. time zone never stays on my time zone and have to ask clients to constantly check theres.

Booking Troll has its own theme right now but we have on our to-do list to allow for the promotions to appear on the booking pages as well, hopefully that will happen sooner than later. However you can choose the background image (which covers almost all the page) on BookingTroll and that way you can truly brand your Bookingtroll website. With regards to the client settings, in fact the clients do merge if phone and e mail are identical, but even better is to use the login custom feature if you want your clients always to stay unique. As for the variables, it is enough to place the cursor where the variable should be inserted, then to just press the relevant variable it in the variables box to ease your life when customizing the email, sms and feedback request texts. In the beginning we had the renewal automatic for our free users but we continuously got complaints from users who had actually quit using the booking system and continued to receive bookings from their clients without them knowing about it as they did not use the system anymore. They insisted that we would cancel their system if they had stopped using it, so therefore we now ask our free users to renew the system monthly. Pros: We have a slightly different situation than what the software was designed for, but it the design is flexible enough to work for us.

Cons: Again, because our situation is slightly different, we would like a different view in the booking screen. We would like to see all available appointment times on the calendar showing providers rather than having to first select the provider. But I understand that might not be best for most users.

Overall: It coordinates students with instructors offering english and math workshops.

Cons: I'm not sure why iI have to log in twice to the account when I go to the website? I also would like to be able to put reminders on the google calendar sync.

Pros: Cheaper than the rest, relatively simple to set up, even for a technophobe like myself. Anything I struggled with was sorted quickly with online support

Cons: some issues exporting widget to our own website but we got around that in the end with the help of our internal support.

Overall: Clients can book appointments 24/7 instead of normal 9-5 office hours, which has been a massive help as a lot of our clientele are in placements 9-5

Pros: I am able to completely eliminate the job of receptionist for my business - bookings come in automatically online. I was able to start for free and as my business expanded I subscribed to a payment plan - my life has gotten easier with this software.

Cons: Sometimes there are glitches in confirmations not being sent to clients which can cause a bit of confusion.

Pros: Our clients, for the most part, had no problems booking their appointments, and the providers were able to manage their own schedules.

Cons: The basic features don't work at times. Can't batch change to Unblock clients. Client list search is basically useless because you can only search by Username, Email and Phone number. This doesn't allow you to search for a specific group of clients so I must enter variables in the Phone number field to find the group of clients I wish to extract. Have to use "live ammo" to test the setup. Lose all leftover bookings paid for after expiration of paid term.

Overall: It made a complex booking session easier to manage and apply.

Pros: I love the automated email reminders, and also the different options available for varied services.

Cons: I wish there could be a communication platform between customers and myself on the site. It would be great if people could leave a note when they booked an appointment. This would reduce the need for texting details. Instead, they could do this directly on the site.

We also have a lot of difficulties using this site on mobile devices. This is somewhat burdensome when customers want to book their appointments on mobile.

Cons: Some features are not working qood enough. It seems not quiet ready or under development

Overall: We have up until now used a different system and found Simplybook on a search trough Google. We have just programmed it to our fir our business and needs and our impression, so far, is that it's easy to program and to use for our clients.

I have to say that our absolute best exerience so far is support though the Chat function offered by Simplybook.me. It's fast and the response is really helpful and accurate.

There are som issues regarding Approving (Extra features). If you need to use this option this is not "good" enough for companies with a lot of booking. But if you have a little volume of booking and always people that can approve the request at once/fast this feature will be perfect for you aswell.

The App possibility is a good asset.
And with some small more possibilities it will be greate.

Pros: Flexibility, good value, good support.

Cons: It needs a little getting used to.

Overall: Setting up the routine was a little scary, but once I got the hang of it I felt confident enough to customise it for my requirements. When I got stuck once, the support I got was very helpful.

Pros: It has a lot of extra plugins and features, that make the overall outcome more flexible

Overall: Simplybook seems to be the best one out there. Especially for a seasonal business - when there are many customers, then there is the possibility and need to pay for the service, and in the winter, when the business is on standby, than so are the payments. its very reasonable.
Also it is awesome, that i can translate the page exactly as i need to, and if i ever get stuck, than te customer support is fast and ready to help.

Recommendations to other buyers: It would be nice to have the possibility to translate the page in multiple languages. it would be nice to have a reminder every time that my subscription is about to end.

Cons: Difficult to work out the image you can add to a service. Maybe add a suggestion for the size of an image to upload.

Pros: Everything is automated so I don't have to think about it. The set up is easy.

Cons: Hmmm. It doesn't send me giant bunches of flowers every few weeks.

Overall: I am thrilled at how much this program has eased the pressure on me as a single practitioner in my business. I was spending many hours each week emailing my small client load, trying to find suitable appointment times and dates. It was so hard to keep good boundaries regarding my available working times as I was negotiating every appointment individually. Now my clients can see what is available and choose the best for them, without me compromising my available times. It is so wonderful that I, (a grey haired, somewhat computer naïve individual) could set this up. Any help I needed was available immediately through the 'chat now' service, or was responded to very quickly. Thank you for a fabulous product!

Pros: It looks really nice to our customers.

Cons: Having to renew the free membership every month. I may not continue using it due to this.

Overall: I love the system, it does most of the things we need. It's the best free system I've found so far.

Recommendations to other buyers: If we were a profit business it would be perfect, but we are a community not for profit so we miss a few features using the free version. Mostly this is fine, but the monthly re-signing is annoying.

Cons: Doesn't translate according to the language of the client (as I have international customers), and cannot show your calendar as an availability overview without going through the whole booking process (which, since I have been unable to find any of any good in general for that on the web they should think about doing as it's a niche that needs filling!)

Overall: I started using Simplybook.me some years ago, initially as a beginner and now fully committed. I haven't looked back. For a small business owner it is perfect and new things are coming on board all the time. The best thing is the customer service, if you do have a query they are very responsive and the outcome is positive. You feel like you are working together to get things right.

Comments: I run two business I love the way it integrates with Google Calendar so if i make an appointment on one company it will automatically show that space as busy in the other companies diary.

Very easy to set this feature up.

Pros: Google Sync

SMS & Email automation (although not perfect as if I edit twice or three types with things I forget to add as a note for the Service Provider it emails the client every time "updating" the booking. I wouldn't want them to see it every time, so an option to skip the email update would be great.)

Cons: Can't colour code by services

When you cancel a booking it still remains on my Service Provider's Google Calendar. So sync creates the bookings but doesn't delete them when I cancel the booking.

In South Africa, with the exchange rate, extra features get expensive at $40 each

Overall: The extra features I would need for my small business are expensive when going over 3 on the basic package

First of all in the email and sms settings there are check boxes which you can check or uncheck related to notifications. So you can actually uncheck the box next to notifications to clients for updates. Secondly, in the Google Cal Custom Feature, you can check the box where it says sync both ways, and then a cancellations should sync just as well as the bookings. For the pricing then we strongly recommend to take the standard package like most of our clients do and benefit from 8 great custom features. Pros: The ability to have different services and people attached to the services is great.

Cons: Sometimes hard to navigate, not sure on a fix but I think more use will get me around the issues.

Overall: On top of having a service that I can use to schedule meetings and interviews easily, I have been thrilled with the customer service I have received. Twice I have utilized the live chat and both times my questions were answered right away and I was able to do exactly what I needed to do.

Recommendations to other buyers: I like the month to month. As a school we will be out of session in the summer and we need to be budget conscious. This helps.

Pros: The ease of use is the best part for us. With so many people needing to use it to book their clients it is important that they can learn to use it quickly. Even those who are unfamiliar with computer technology are able to book their clients with this program! It is also great for me as an administrator that it is so easy to use because with so many people using it I often am changing their hours or days of work. With this program, it only takes a minute so I don't ever feel I am wasting time managing our booking program.

Cons: I would love if there was a way to combine two calendar views. For example, it would be really great for us if we could view the calendar by day and service provider.

Overall: We have been using Simplybook.me for almost 2 years now. The best part about this booking program for us is how user friendly it is. We have a large number of volunteers using the program to book their clients and even those who struggle with technology find Simplybook.me simple and easy to use. As an administrator of the program, I appreciate how easy it is to make changes to anything from our organization's hours to adjusting individual user's days and hours. The plugins available allow for an astounding number of ways to adjust this program to fit whatever you need.
The customer service and technical support that come with this program are second to none. They have live chat support and when live support isn't available they respond very quickly to an email request. I have never waited more than 24 hours for a response.
I would recommend Simplybook.me to any company or organization without any hesitation.
