Pros: Easy to use, almost trouble free (works almost every time). Interface is appealing, and customers can access site very easily.

Cons: 1. My customers frequently complain that they cannot book an appointment. This is because it is not very clear that a time slot has already been booked and they need to try and search for another one that is not.

I think to overcome this, a pop-up message should appear at the booking site every time someone tries to book a time slot that is taken already. The message could read "This session is already booked or there is insufficient time available to book this time slot. Please try another time slot". The little red sentence that currently appears on your system is rarely seen by my customers nor is the dimmed grey lettering of the time slots evident enough for customers to realize the slot is taken already.

In addition, you can provide a week or month-at-a-glance view of the time days/time slots already booked and those available so customers can easily see which ones to select.

2. It would be great if I could add a link from my Simplebookme webpage so customers can click on to view more information about a service or product than what is allowed from your site.

Overall: Eliminates me having to spend time booking appointments manually.

Pros: you can easily modify schedules and specific days and make modifications to services. If you're running a one day promo it is so easy to set up and customize to a specific technician and day.

Having reminders for both the service provider and clients is a great feature and setting the time of the reminder also helps as it eliminates those last minute cancellations.

Sending an automated link to clients after their service to complete a review is one of the better features ! It eliminates having to remember to follow up when your schedule is busy and it completes the service. These reviews can also be used to further promote your business. Seeing the calendar in different views whether by tech per week day or month allows you to see company performance easily and also compare to other months and previous year I am one of the Franchises and we have over 40 now locates across Canada and now overseas. Many of our other Franchises were looking for a simple online booking system and I've told them about your site. It would be nice to see all of Tan on the Run use this site to streamline our bookings.

Cons: there is not much negative to say about the software. initially when you set up you get to try all features but when it's new and you're not getting a lot of traffic at first it's hard to try them all so i would only suggest that maybe after 6 months when a client sets up and has really understood and had time to really try out the software to offer this later as well. I understand as a business it might not be possible but I think I would have been more inclined to get a couple extra features to see what works.

I did try the promotion feature and found it really difficult to manoeuvre and after several failed attempts and trials gave up. It was very limiting for the discount unless you've changed this. I liked that you could select specific clients to send to but other than that it didn't work for me.

Also trying to add a service from mobile doesn't work. I couldn't get the whole screen to hit `save.

With regards to setting up a service from your mobile, then please let me know if that still doesn´t work, it works out for me when I do it on iphone. We aim to have all our site fully mobile responsive, so we are very thankful to get tips if something is not working.

Pros: The ease of use is the best part for us. With so many people needing to use it to book their clients it is important that they can learn to use it quickly. Even those who are unfamiliar with computer technology are able to book their clients with this program! It is also great for me as an administrator that it is so easy to use because with so many people using it I often am changing their hours or days of work. With this program, it only takes a minute so I don't ever feel I am wasting time managing our booking program.

Cons: I would love if there was a way to combine two calendar views. For example, it would be really great for us if we could view the calendar by day and service provider.

Overall: We have been using Simplybook.me for almost 2 years now. The best part about this booking program for us is how user friendly it is. We have a large number of volunteers using the program to book their clients and even those who struggle with technology find Simplybook.me simple and easy to use. As an administrator of the program, I appreciate how easy it is to make changes to anything from our organization's hours to adjusting individual user's days and hours. The plugins available allow for an astounding number of ways to adjust this program to fit whatever you need.

The customer service and technical support that come with this program are second to none. They have live chat support and when live support isn't available they respond very quickly to an email request. I have never waited more than 24 hours for a response.

I would recommend Simplybook.me to any company or organization without any hesitation.

Pros: Possibility that clients book themselves. Connection to our google calendar. The ease with wich you can add a service.

Cons: Not possible to book for groups, as we use it for planning our guides for farm tours etc. People can book a tour for their group, and pay per head. We really miss this functionality.

Also we have different locations people can book (instead of performers, but we use the performer tool), and it is a lot of work to plan the opening hours per location/performer (we close most locations for 5 months in winter)

We cannot send a reminder more than 3 days before the appointment. For us 7 or even 14 days would be better.

With regards to the comments, then I would like to inform you that you can accept bookings for tours/groups with our Group Booking Custom Feature and accept payments as well for the whole group. If you however want each to pay for themselves then as a workaround they can choose "Pay later" for example or not receive payments online but instead send bank account details in confirmation email so that the clients will make bank transfer. Admin can then use approve bookings feature to approve them when transfer is received.

We also have Multiple Location custom feature, which enables you to create multiple service locations at different addresses, and connect them with different service providers (staff members).

Last but not least you can contact our Live Chat and ask them to add the functionality to send reminders with more than 3 days before the appointment.

Pros: Accepts online payments even on a free account

30 days Free Trial which is long enough to try all of the costum features. It actually helped me decide to upgrade when my free trial is over.

Cons: Poor customer support. I signed up for the Free account. After logging out, I couldnt log in. Tried "forgert password/forget company login" but no email has been sent to my inbox. Tried chatting with their live chat, but it wasnt so "live" after all. I left a message but I didnt get any message in my inbox from them. Tried sending a message via their Facebook page which says "typically replies within a few hours" but until now there was no response. So I signed up again using a different email. This time, I screen shot my login details. I set up Simplybook according to my company's needs etc. When I tried logging in again after a few hours, I couldn't login using the login details I used (which I have screen shot earlier).Went through the same steps mentioned above to retrieve my login details (just in case I have the password wrong) and to no avail. I didnt get any email to reset password nor to find my company login. How can I use the system if it wont let me log in.

Overall: I cant tell since I cannot log in after logging out.

I am sorry to hear that your experience was not good. It is strange to hear about this login problem as we have thousands of users logging in every single day, and hundreds of new users being able to login as well. As for the FaceBook answer, you sent your question in on a Sunday, which is day off, and should have been answered on Monday but you were answered on the Tuesday. Our Live support would however have responded to you live, right away during workdays as they are on 24 hours per day, answering hundreds of clients. We are however not using FB for support issues as we have live support on our site all workdays and therefore we rarely get questions sent there.

Pros: What I like about the software is that you can print to an excel document/or PDF

A requirement of my program is to show graphs and attendance, your software does that automatically and the graphs are clear, color coded and easy to read.

This software is improving every year, with add ons and custom features, Always seeking ways to simplify the software to accommodate clients like myself.

The software is not time consuming and has been benefit towards my own program

Cons: One least con: is payment method. I use this software for my program as stated, I have to ask my boss to use his credit card for the business .

Suggest if possible to be directly invoiced each time wanting to make a payment. like a subscription or text messages added on.

Overall: Printing out or having the opportunity to do so

Graphs and scales color coded

Simpy to use and cheaper, the text messages/emails are sent to remind the person of their lesson

Cost Effective, I have searched other software and yours is the cheapest and the most reliable

Pros: I love the fact I get a custom URL to send my clients to. The tight integration with Google calendar is a huge time saver. The reviews tool is awesome because they encourage reviews after a meeting and give me a dedicated page for reviews SimplyBook.me also maintains an exportable database of client contact info (which has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion).

Cons: The software has so many features, it can be a little daunting to find what you need in the admin panel. For the most part, I've figured it out. I look forward seeing new themes made available. I would love to see integration with a reliable and cost-effective (or free) web conferencing tool or screen sharing client support tool.

Overall: SimplyBook.me allows me to manage my client appointments with ease. I keep regular 'visiting hours' open for clients, and as long as they book 24 hours in advance, I can plan my day around the times booked.

It works like that we create a random link for each appointment so that clients can only contact you after booking an appointment. Pros: I have used this software for close to 5 years and it's still simply the best in the industry for my needs. There are plenty of scheduling solutions out there but this platform is easy and flexible and consistent. I have never had a problem with implimentation and the developers are SO accessible that even if I did, they would be right on a solution. They are constantly adding value for the user and this value translates into satisfaction in our client's experience. Value for the cost is the best perk. You would be hard pressed to find another product that does as much for as little.

Cons: One limitation is the lack of a merge feature. Because users input their data anew, there is the potential to have multiple entries for the same client in the client database.

In terms of merging the clients then what you can do is to define in settings what makes a client unique, an email address or phone number. Then if you define it´s an e mail address, you can change the email address to the same address of the same clients and then in fact they merge. I agree it would be great to have a simpler solution for that, but this workaround should work though.

Pros: The unlimited number of service providers and services.

Cons: 1) The limitation of a single company time zone. This does not work for decentralized teams working out of multiple locations. Some of us use the calendar integration as a work-around, but having to localize our availability is a huge headache.

2) I have used the pop up box on the Simplybook website to engage the "almost 24/7 support" a number of times. There is never anyone on chat, so I end up sending an email message. To date, I have not gotten a single response.

Overall: Overall I'm happy with the platform's functionality, but the customer service you advertise is nonexistent.

Regarding the time zone,bigger companies are using separate sub systems for each location making the time zone issue manageable. For those using one system only, this can be problematic, you are right about that.

We take our customer support service very seriously and would really like it if you could send me the email that you sent to our chat, or your login name so that we can find your communication with our support. Our customer support is online 21 hours during the working days and always respond asap and if not on duty then they do reply to emails asap as well. We have never heard about anyone not getting a prompt reply.

Pros: I like that I can mostly do what I want. The software doesn't exactly line up with my business model, but I have found enough ways modify my setup to get the results I need. However, I have found that traditional pen and paper results in better results in regards to scheduling.

Cons: The timezones are confusing. My company travels to locations in many different timezones for photoshoot appointments. We've found in some trips where the location is in a different timezone than our headquarters, clients will book with the wrong timezone. When we set up the appointment schedule, we have also found the timezones confusing because we always have to adjust in our heads the time. If we live in Central time and our clients/location are in Eastern Time, we shouldn't have to set up the Eastern Time Zone by using Central Time Zone as the base. When clients get reminders, they should get reminders in the proper timezone. To make it easier, we should have the option to turn timezones off. If we set up an open calendar from 3:00pm-9:00pm, it shouldn't matter what timezone we are in since both our people and the clients are experiencing the same time. There is never a time when it would matter what the timezones are.

Overall: I like it in theory, but we've found better results with traditional pen and paper. Personally, I'm above average when it comes to understanding technology, so to me, this site seems pretty easy to use. However I've found older folks who really struggle with online registration, especially compared to traditional pen & paper signup.

Regarding the timezones then the system automatically suggests the correcting timezone and then the client is asked to verify that. If they verify correctly then there should not be any problem, however if they change it to your timezone or any other for that matter then there will be a confusion.

Comments: I needed some way to 'book' interviews with an online calendar. I found Sinply Book It, and even though this system can be used for an organization for many employees and is almost too much for my needs, - It is also SIMPLE! It works the best of anything i have tried to use in the past. It makes my and business the 'professional edge'. I would NOT have been able to put together a website or page that gives me what I should have to look professional! It was easy to setup and now all i have to do is send a link inviting someone to be interviewed and they can book the time time at their convenience! No back and forth phone calls and confusion! To my surprise once an apptmnt is booked the software sends out a confirmation to the client and it also lets me know there is a booking! And it sends out a reminder to both of us the day before!

Support has been quick and they have been wonderful! What is amazing is that at this time I have the free version since there is only me and the interviews are by invitation only!

However, I realize that I can use this same software for 'other' type of bookings, perhaps business consultations. I can breakdown my 'service' into different Products and the built in system will let me charge and collect! I love using this program, and i love the confidence it gives me when i send the link out to folks to book a time for their interview. I cannot speak highly enough about using this program and how clever it is, reasonably priced, and how awesome the ease of use and the flexibility to be used by an organization of 1 to organizations with multiple products and multiple employess who each need their own calendar to book their services!

I am so thankful to have found this program, and I highly recommend it to anyone who books appointments! It is incredibly professional and even more than that - it is Practical and Time Saving ... takes one bit of ongoing chaos Out of my life!

I have a video blog called 'Behind the Groove Interviews' with Elizabeth Tubbs ... i invite wonderful indie artists, - singers, musicians, artists to be interviewed by me> Ha ha ha - their constantly changing bookings, schedules, and touring - is like trying to book a mirage. It is a relief to them and time saving for me to send a link they can refer to when convenient!

It also reaffirms what i am all about to them when they get to my Simply book it website! So wonderfully professional.

Pros: Simplybook.me offers a free monthly option if you have 50 bookings or less per month. I have been using this option to try out the program while I'm a student in a Massage Therapy program. This has been a great tool to book clients for my practical hours and I have had many clients tell me how easy it was to book their appointment online, or that they love the option of booking appointments at their convenience. It's been a great way to start building my clientele and I will definitely upgrade to the full paid version once I am finished my schooling and open up my own practice. There are so many additional features that simplybook.me offers that I'm excited to add to my online website when I upgrade. The website is very user friendly and I have recommended it to many of my colleagues already.

Cons: I would prefer if the free version would offer the text message confirmation and reminder instead of the email alerts because not nearly all my clients check their emails on a daily basis, but they do check their phones. I recognize that this is an upgrade option, but as a student, my funds are currently limited.

Cons: a few things.....

1) The mobile view is not very friendly and the look and feel for mobile is not responsive i would optimize all the templates for mobile, since 90%+ of all my customer book their appointments on mobile.

2) The calendar sync with google does not work very well, when a customer cancels or reschedule an appointment the google calendar doesn't updates and you cant see all the customer info (name, phone, mail, etc) in the google calendar

3) you cant book half hours.

4) There is no simplybook app for apple so i can manage my business in an app.

Overall: organize my team better.

I truly encourage you to play around with the booking templates that we have, all the latest ones should work and look great on mobile devices, I personally prefer the template called "Emeri", have you tried that out?

The Google sync should be working, we have thousands of clients using it, please let our Live Chat know if it is not and describe the error for them. Regarding the bookings then your clients should be able to book every half hour if you set your time frames right, please discuss with Live Help as well. But no we do not have an app anymore as the page should be fully mobile responsive and you can do everything on your phone via the browser.

Pros: The booking calendar allows my clients to book my services directly via the calendar, linked from my site. This is a handy feature and a selling point in my business, where people want easy ways to make appointments at times of their choosing. I can customise the forms to suit my own specific needs.

Cons: The features are not always intuitively set out, so it has taken a while to find out what can be done. When I get a mail infpoming me of a booking, it would be good to get either, 1. a direct link to the new booking or the day of the booking, or 2. all the details of the booking in a mail. I would also like to be able to synchronise the booking calendar with the offline calendar in my mail client, but I have not found out how, if it even is possible.

Overall: SimplyBook.me has given my clients one more way to contact me, especially those who know what service they want and want it booked quickly without having to ring or wait for mail correspondance. Customers seem to want to solve their problems and meet their needs more and more quickly and will move on to another provider if the current one is too slow to answer. In my line of business, which is rather traditional and old-fashioned, I seem to be ahead of my competitors simply by having quick, online solutions, of which SimplyBook.me is a good one.

Regarding the e mail notifications, then under settings/email&sms settings you can adjust exactly what information are sent in that notification e mail to the service provider. So if you want all relevant details regarding the booking sent to you, then you can do that within that settings. Please contact our Live Chat if you can not find where to set that up.

With respect to the calendar integration then we have Google and Office 365 two way calendar synchronization but it is impossible to sync with offline calendars as technically that is just not possible, at least not two-way.

Just to let you know that if your business does pick up, then we do have custom pages feature (so you can add more pages to your booking web where you can present your services) and also a Custom Domain name feature where you can define exactly which URL you want to have on your booking page.

If you would still want to create another website then you can always use our widget within your new website, so that even though you would have a different website, you could still use our booking tool within that website to allow your clients to book your services.

Pros: The system has a lot of functions that can enhance the online booking options, customer support is fast and any problems in my experience have bee quickly dealt with. As a start into online bookings it is a good system. Customer service is excellent.

Cons: the cost of adding some basic 'custom features' which I feel should be part of a basic package, I don't need the amount of bookings that are offered but could do with more features, but to add them is now getting expensive compered to other software systems out there. Also it has very very poor reporting features, and no way to know best customer ect. I feel that they could offer a better value package of more costumer features and less bookings.

Pros: SimplyBook.me was the best software I have used for booking appointments!! It has so many great features, for example, my new clients are able to book consults with me online. They can book their appointments right through the calendar. They can schedule recurring appointments, as well. The UI is also very user friendly, I have a lot of elder clients who always tell me they have no patience for a computer but booking their appointments online is never an issue for them!

Cons: You have to pay for great products, and this is the reason I no longer have this software. I had to choose a software that was more in my budget. Other than the price, I really cannot complain!

Overall: You get what you pay for! If you want to have a hassle free appointment scheduler, this is the software you should choose. You will have to pay your monies worth for this program! I had to switch to another software in the last year, and I can say it doesn't even compare to SimplyBook.me. I have used this software since I have been on my own (almost 5 years) and switching was a hard thing to do, but once my children came into the world, some budgets were cut and unfortunately this was one of them. If you do choose this software for your appointment needs, you will not regret it.

Pros: Configurability, I´m in Brazil so was very important to be able to translate all the text and notifications to portuguese. Is the most complete software in its category so far, and I searched for a long time before choosing.

Cons: No support for local credit cards or payment methods. Lack of a user level that can create and remove bookins but is not a administrator. Add-ons and plugins are too expensive.

Cons: - Would be good if an invoicing function could be added to allow a completely seamless service

- In time an improved notes system would be fantastic

- With regards to client details, it would be great if the functions could be more seamlessly linked. Eg saving clients insurance details, they recognise directly to appointments, rather than saving as a timeline SOAP function.

- In the 'setup' list of all files/folders of the whole system. It would be great if these were listed aphabectically or grouped as per their function, as searching through them all to changes the names of them, eg SOAP fields, is very time consuming and confusing.

- Be able to have locations set up but choose for them to NOT show on booking page.

Pros: Ease of use and the customer service.

Cons: Doesn't translate according to the language of the client (as I have international customers), and cannot show your calendar as an availability overview without going through the whole booking process (which, since I have been unable to find any of any good in general for that on the web they should think about doing as it's a niche that needs filling!)

Overall: I started using Simplybook.me some years ago, initially as a beginner and now fully committed. I haven't looked back. For a small business owner it is perfect and new things are coming on board all the time. The best thing is the customer service, if you do have a query they are very responsive and the outcome is positive. You feel like you are working together to get things right.

Recommendations to other buyers: Keep at it and we'll keep with you.

Pros: I think the feature I like the most about SimplyBook.me is that clients can browse my website, look through the services on offer and then book an initial consultation with me with no hassle at all. I get notified, they automatically receive instructions on how they're going to connect when their appointment comes, and the whole process is painless. Having the system send out reminder emails to my clients is very handy too, and has cut down my 'did not attend' rate.

Cons: The software has so many features which add really useful functionality, my only gripe would be not having enough hours in my day to try them all out and see how they could improve the service I run! I have been using SimplyBook.me for over a year, and I'm still learning about all there is to offer.

Overall: Very easy to use

Pros: Simply book me is very user-friendly I work for a law firm in this is the scheduling system that we use to schedule an initial consultation with our attorneys simply allows you to enter and any questions you want to use to screen your potential leaves I can edit the attorneys that we are currently scheduling for with ease and it is just a very simple program for scheduling I really enjoy using it

Cons: I haven't run into anything that I don't like about simply sometimes it times out in the middle of filling out the form to schedule a consultation that can be a little frustrating but that doesn't happen often

Overall: Overall I'm really impressed with simply book me as I had said it's a very user-friendly program and I'm able to reserve multiple consultations with ease

Pros: I conduct digital research with psychiatric populations and I am the principal investigator of a NIH funded study that is evaluating the feasibility of delivering group therapy using mobile platforms. SimplyBook.me is an amazing solution to schedule visits with research participants. Our research participants can now book sessions with different members of our team (program coordinators, assessors, therapists). This has greatly accelerated the operationalization of our study procedures.

Cons: Honestly I cannot think of any flaws. Maybe the admin portal can be initially intimidating, but one easily learns how to navigate it and customize the experience.

Overall: Major upgrade compared to traditional means of scheduling appointments. Will never switch back to phone calls and voice messages! My staff and research participants are thrilled to use it, so am I!

Pros: It seems lightweight and not overbearing with 'in your face' features. The pricing model is very fair and cost effective my for micro business. These are the benefits on which to grow, prosper and keep me as a customer.

Pros: Its free standard version is so packed with features that I have found it sufficient for my office operation. Particularly useful are intake forms and scheduling button. Ability to set different schedules by service was extremely helpful This solution offers such easy booking interface that it became widely adopted by the patients in a very short time

Cons: Some features require quite a bit of sophistication to set up (CSS rules - not standard). Integration with Google my business would be nice

Overall: We were able to offer online schedule for the first time and grow the practice

Pros: THe software works really well for me as customers are able to book appointments when I am not able to take calls / when I am closed. That the software enables me to provide details of the services I offer, that I can make each service a different length of time (for a long time I thought I would not be able to use this software as some appointments need to be one hour and others one and a half hours. It is great that It syncs with my google diary automatically.

Cons: I am unable to log in to the software though my android phone which is a real downpoint. Also when I log in via my face book page I seem to need to repeat the log in process. My customers have tried to download the app but have reported to me that it does not work - I have not tried it however.

Overall: It saves me time and it makes it easier for customers to book an appointment with me.

To address your comments, if you use Chrome or Firefox on your android device you should not have any problems logging into your system. Please contact our Live Chat support if you experience such problems.

As for the facebook login, I have asked our tester to look into that, it should not need double login process, so if there is a problem there it will be fixed.

With regards to the app then we have been updating a lot of features recently and it often takes a bit longer to update the apps. We actually recommend all clients to book directly through the web page as it is fully mobile responsive so in fact there is no need for the client booking app.

Pros: I like that I can allow individual service providers to have their own logins so they can manage their own schedules. SBM allows us to set up a great variety of appointments and request all sorts of information from people booking appointments.

Cons: This is not the most intuitive system to figure out but because there isn't an endless amount of features it's not too difficult to figure out. I do not like that people who want to leave a review must be signed into facebook.

Overall: We get the ability to book appointments with cat adopters to the people giving appointments to sign adoption contracts

Pros: Easy to set up and get started. Ideal if you just start out with a small business or salon and want to get your online marketing off the grounds. With a limited amount of bookings per month you can keep using it for free by simply renewing your free subscription monthly. The interface is quite clear and intuitive, simple to adjust and add pictures, pricing, time slots etc. It's free to use and you get one month where you get to experiment with all the additional features. Be aware that you probably don't really have enough time to properly set up, test and evaluate all the features so be selective with the ones you need most and only test those.

Cons: Unfortunately there is no option for customers to pay online through the 'ideal' system (used in the Netherlands for 90% of online purchases). Although there is a way to build it into your site itself it is a big hassle and not what you hope for when starting with a booking tool. Make sure your most prominent payment methods for your clients are supported. If they are, then this is a great platform with lots of free stuff and plenty of options to expand. If you're using the free system then make sure to renew you subscription in time or risk getting bookings at unavailable slots.

Overall: Free online bookings with a professional look and feel.

Pros: It is simple. The Emails to my practice and to patients remind the registration. The Special Days function keeps the open times management easy. I have 2 nurses and some temporary stuff from time to time - the instruction how to use SimplyBook has never taken more than 5 minutes.

Overall: Sorry, I had to rate Customer Support and Features&Functionality with 4 stars - I never really needed them, so I have no idea how good they are. But the fact that a system works fine without the need to contact Customer Support is really a good thing :)

Pros: You can always get hold of a live human being (via there chart software) to answer questions in real time and if you catch them when they are closed they are quick to get back to you once they are open for business.

The software interface and dashboard is simple to use which I like. It comes with a very basic package that you build ontop of whatever features you would like so you just pay for the features that you want.

Cons: It's strength is also it weakness.

You build it piecemeal which means you pay for each additional feature you want.

Overall: Overall the money has been worth it

Having the ability to book online has really been a boon for our business and I love the fact that I dont have to try and figure anything out with the software I can just hit up their customer service team and get a quick answer to my questions.

Pros: compared to other solutions, there is lots of flexibility in adding options and also customizing to match your website, also i love the tech support which is usually immediately available via chat which is a big advantage

Cons: not everything is intuitive, i've had to ask tech support for instructions several times, but at least i got immediate help.

Overall: automated my scheduling of first appointments including payment and saved me alot of money on having to do a phone call first. since i can charge at the time of scheduling i offer a discount and patients have incentive to schedule immediately instead of timely phone calls. also existing patients can self schedule instead of trying to reach me.

Pros: I was looking for a program that I could embed to our website and allow customers to schedule delivery appointments with us. This program was easy to use and very clean looking. I loved the look on our website, and that it would send confirmations to our customers.

Cons: Our delivery business is based off appointment days and not specific times. Where instead of dedicating a specific time we set a certain time frame. This is app, being great for specific timed appointments, is limited to those who need customers to set a specific day. You have to set an appointment to an all day slot which can be confusing to the customers. Would be a great app for a hairstylist, nail salon, etc.

Overall: I did reach out to customer service to ask if there was any help for our company (who does deliveries) to schedule days versus a time. The gentleman who helped me was very courteous. He suggested using the all-day allotment, which would work ok, however, to keep customers from getting confused, was not what I was able to use.

Pros: The calendar is really easier to use than it is with all the similar appointement scheduling softwares. It provides a clear and modern page for your customer.

Cons: It lakes many features for my personal buisness:

_Not compatible with french summer hour

_Online help not very friendly

_No differences between new and old patients which is a big issue for medical supplies (appointements could be restricted to particular patients )

_Cancellation for paid appointements is not automacally refunded by the customer

_ No way to ask for paiements to clients when you give by yourself the appointement on simplybookme.

Regarding your comments then I will try to answer each one here:
1. Time change: It should always work correctly, if you book at 14:00 on Saturday for Monday and time changes on Sunday, the booking will stay at 14:00 for Monday.
2. Online help: We usually get great feedback on our Live Chat and I looked at your chat and could not see that she was unfriendly, please send me an e mail and let me know if otherwise.
3. You can solve this by creating a specific service which only members could book (old patients) and not new patients.
4. You are right that would be great to have the refund automatic, but since our clients are using so many different payment providers this has not been done yet.
5. Very good point, we will discuss this with programmers.

Pros: I like how they have managed to cover pretty much every relationship that I would want between the data types. From Providers, Services, Users, Products, Time Schedules, etc... I have been able to be as creative as I want due to their extensive data system. When you combine this with the ease of use for basic computer users, it will create a very usable environment. I was able to completely set up our company scheduling system and implement it on our website in one day. I replaced a system that we have been using for a few years now. I was so impressed with this system, that I replaced a system that is already paid for until late 2019. It was worth the switch. This system is less than half the cost also.

Cons: Since we are a small business, we have only about 50 bookings a month (if that). I'd like to see an advanced basic level that gives you about 8-10 custom features with a low # of bookings per month. Price this between Basic and Standard and I think you would attract even more small/medium businesses.

Overall: Cost and functionality.

SMS & Email automation (although not perfect as if I edit twice or three types with things I forget to add as a note for the Service Provider it emails the client every time "updating" the booking. I wouldn't want them to see it every time, so an option to skip the email update would be great.)

Cons: Can't colour code by services

When you cancel a booking it still remains on my Service Provider's Google Calendar. So sync creates the bookings but doesn't delete them when I cancel the booking.

In South Africa, with the exchange rate, extra features get expensive at $40 each

Overall: The extra features I would need for my small business are expensive when going over 3 on the basic package

First of all in the email and sms settings there are check boxes which you can check or uncheck related to notifications. So you can actually uncheck the box next to notifications to clients for updates.

Secondly, in the Google Cal Custom Feature, you can check the box where it says sync both ways, and then a cancellations should sync just as well as the bookings.

For the pricing then we strongly recommend to take the standard package like most of our clients do and benefit from 8 great custom features.

Pros: They have a very wide set of features for users that are using their scheduling interface. The API seems to be quite robust as well handling many of the core scheduling features in it.

The pricing is based on features and number of bookings which is very scalable for our use case that has lots of people that require a calendar but may never use the booking features that are provided by this integration.

Cons: They claim that their product is HIPAA compliant. However, turning on the HIPAA compliant features shuts down access to their API, which is the only thing we are using them for.

Their API support is very poor. Most of the time they just say they cannot help and their answers are very abrupt and unhelpful answers most of the time (you have to keep nagging to get a decent response). There are bugs here and there in the API. The documentation for their API, though large, is incomplete and lacks thorough/clear explanations and neglects things like how call backs work etc.

It looks like their feature set is growing but the API capacity is not.

Overall: The service has a powerful API that has documentation that is good enough to get you up and going with an implementation. It has some bugs and has poor technical support. The pricing model is very scalable if you have lots of people that need to have calendars/scheduling that don't necessarily use the scheduling capacity (provided by the API) in your application (they charge per booking not per calendar). The nail in the coffin for us it the lack of HIPAA compliance for the API. Their sales page touts HIPAA compliance but this is not possible if you are using the API and this is not stated anywhere. Your team could spend time and money encrypting all your data yourself before it gets to Simplybook.me's servers but it just makes it painful to use compared to other services out there that offer this out of the box.

Pros: Excellent value compared to other products. Very good feature pricing structure. Support is immediate through chat and they are excellent. Lots of flexibility with services and statuses.

Cons: Lacks basic refinements such as; page navigation difficult at times as windows are off screen or covered by a pop up, not possible to delay notification emails/SMS messages when creating an appointment leading to multiple sent when mistakes corrected, no easy and clear way to enter and view worker off time as only visible on provider view.

Overall: Value for our usage.

Regarding the comment on the notifications then if you click on that pop-up it means that you have read it already and that is why it says 0 notifications. But normally when you click on
such notification it should lead you to the calendar page where you can check bookings. There you can can filter cancelled bookings to check those only, and there you can see it. If you have any problems with that please contact our Live Chat and they will help you out.

With that being said (or hmmm written), it is a good idea to let the notification stay for longer, have it bold when unread and normal if read. We have added that task to the to-do list and hopefully you will be able to benefit from that sooner than later. Thanks for the tip!

Pros: It's easy for clients to use online. Once you have figured out how to set it up it's easy to change and adapt as needed. It's handy I can link it in to my website and my facebook page. It's great to be able to see all the reports and to be able to check client reports as well.

Cons: The feature I like least is the classes option as you can't link classes to a provider so I had to use services instead. This annoyed me as I had set everything up as classes and then had to reset it all up again as services. I wish that there was an app that my students could use to book in and out on their phones that would be great. I know you said that also that you can use webpage on your phone but it's very fiddly. Especially if I am trying to look at who is booked in and I have 15 names all squished together (that's how many I can fit in one class/appointment).

Overall: Less phone calls and messages as clients can manage their own bookings. I can also keep track of how busy I am and if classes are getting quieter.

Pros: Since I discovered this service in 2013, I have been using it as an on-line self-service appointment scheduler. The flexibility to customize our appointment times, dates and number of persons per appointment is fabulous. I also like the report listing and that I can import it in to Google Calendar for others to manage the schedule. Great value for the cost and the fact that I can pay just to use it for 3 months and my set-ups are not deleted is great. We don't have a need for a 365 day a year scheduler.

Cons: The recent website updates have been a little confusing for me; however, I only use the system once a year to set-up our appointments. I get lost best I don't know how to best set things up; however, the on-line help and the Live Chat features help me out without fail.

Overall: Professional service/product and expectional value.

Everyone, i've contacted through the years have been so kind and wonderful.

Pros: Every SimplyBook.me plan includes an unlimited number of service providers, services, and clients. Pricing is based on number of bookings and number of chosen custom features. This enables you to start using the service even if you are only starting out building your business, without restricting the way your business is structured.

Cons: I would love to see them add the Thai language. Also if they could provide integration with the Zoom video conferencing platform then that would be really great. Most of my students are Thai at the beginner level and also we use Zoom which is the best video conferencing platform just like Simplybook.me is the best.

Overall: It allows me to free up my time to do my teaching and follow up with students. No need to make scheduling in my time.

Pros: I like that I can distribute services to my staff members and categorise the services via location which is really important to me as I didn't want a long list of staff to appear on the booking page, only the ones who was in the same area as the customer.

Cons: Some bits are tricky to use and when asking for help from staff to use the platform you are generally just given a link to a manual sheet. It doesn't tell you how you can use the booking system to its full potential and it would be nice as a paying customer to be able to speak to someone on the phone so they can get a feel of what you are trying to accomplish. That being said, it may be the reason why it doesn't cost as much as other platforms and i am happy with the price I pay monthly as it is affordable, especially as a start up business.

Cons: There is sadly no `offline website editor ability - any changes you make go online straight away and you can't test them.

Booking Troll has its own theme right now but we have on our to-do list to allow for the promotions to appear on the booking pages as well, hopefully that will happen sooner than later. However you can choose the background image (which covers almost all the page) on BookingTroll and that way you can truly brand your Bookingtroll website.

With regards to the client settings, in fact the clients do merge if phone and e mail are identical, but even better is to use the login custom feature if you want your clients always to stay unique.

As for the variables, it is enough to place the cursor where the variable should be inserted, then to just press the relevant variable it in the variables box to ease your life when customizing the email, sms and feedback request texts.

Pros: It had the basic things I need. I have spent a few days on a booking service search for my company website. I can arrange my service timetable to my wishes (at least so far). Its an advantage since I could not do exactly that on some other providers. But the main thing that held me to this provider is the ability to translate the booking interface to any language. Sure you have to do a lot of translations yourself and the way to do it is pretty basic, but hey it actually works. Thumbs up for that.

Cons: Just like any software, there are some things you have to get used to. I wont get into specifics, since its not that big of a problem, but you do need to spend some time getting acquainted to the software principles. After that you're good to go. Its a con to my mind to spend time on something that is supposedly easy and fast.

Overall: Despite some time consuming learning it is the best service I could find. It looks good, it translated to my language, it has a reasonable pricing and some additional tweaks and shortcuts i had had no time to get familiar with. But I will. I would subscribe again.

Cons: I think it is designed more for salons rather than fitness classes, which is what I use it for. On the booking site, it would be good if the sessions on the same day would show right bellow each other, it doesn't need to take up so much space, it confuses members who are not good with computers.

Also, in the site I used before, members could see who else was booked in the same class, which they liked.

Overall: I can make all the changes myself and it seamlessly reflects on the booking site.

Pros: This program allows me to SIMPLY and seamlessly book interviews on my online calendar; I have used this software for about 7 months now and I'm continually impressed by the utility of SimplyBook.me compared to other scheduling solutions that are out there. The SimplyBook.me platform is flexible and consistent, and in the instances where I did run into issues, the support team always provided a rapid solution. One thing I particularly love is that they offer a free monthly option for organizations with 50 bookings or less per month; this was a great way for me and my volunteer organization to test the waters and ensure that things would work well for us. If you can find another product that does as much for as little as SimplyBook.me costs, please let me know!

Cons: There's not much to dislike! However, as I've used this in the context of a small volunteer organization, buying individual custom features is quite expensive.

Overall: Improved productivity and efficiency of bookings for my volunteer organization!

Pros: It was easy to understand and easy to set up. It does what I needed it to do.

Cons: I am a start up so I only need minimum features but wish their was a 5 feature instead of 3.

Overall: I needed a way for my customers to book themselves and pay online for my services and I searched several options. Most offer free trail month and I decided to use simplybook.me because of the name (simplybook.me), the booking page can be used as a stand along booking website, the url was simply, and since I did not need a lot of features, I was able to set up a professional looking booking webpage that I could direct customers who were interested in my services to go online and book themselves in and pay. This saves me time. Also simplybook.me notifies me when someone books and the customer also. Best thing yet, is that simplybook.me also reminds the customer a day before about their appointment as well as myself. There was a little searching to learn what I needed to set it up, but you can online chat with individuals before you even decide. I learn a lot from doing this. Also there is extensive online search through the help center that shows you how to set things up. These things allowed me to custom my webpage for customers to book into. Great site.

Pros: The support is great. And I like the layout when working in the program and functionality of the program on my website. I also like the customer gets an email reminder and can get a text reminder. The visuals are straight forward for the customer as well. Compared to other programs I have tried I prefer SimplyBookMe

Cons: I had an issue with changing from trail to pay and the system did not register I had paid so I had to prove I paid to get access. However this was done in a speedy fashion. Another issue -I wanted to see how the text would work and paid in the trial version and then I was told they did not know how to transfer that credit to the paid version. That should not be an issue.

Pros: The software has lots of useful features and options. It can be used either as a stand-alone (customised) appointment booking webpage or it can be integrated into and existing company website. It also synchronises with existing calendars so that you can continue to use existing calendars. Reminders before appointments can also be set up for both the customer and the service provider. Customer support (via web chat) has also been responsive when I have had cause to use it.

Cons: It can take a bit of time to set it up in the way that works best for you. Some of the options are not fully intuitive so that it can take a bit of time and testing to get it to work in the way that you want.

Overall: My clients can book appointments and get immediate confirmation that the appointment has been booked. The reminders before the appointment are also useful. Synchronising with existing calendars is also invaluable .

Pros: Very easy to use, I had searched lots of systems and the level of customization to get the look and feel of my brand was a big factor in my decision. The features are also great and I never miss appointments due to the notifications.

Cons: There isn't two-way integration with gmail so you need to manually manage appointments between those two calendars if you are using two systems. However, it can add your appointments to your Gmail.

Pros: I like the ease of use and the directions and assistance always available. Simply book me is always updated and adding new features to compliment my business and assist with day to day tasks of synchronising my appointments. I love the analytical part of the system that allows me to keep track of all my appointments, hours and money

Cons: There is nothing I do not like about Simply book me. It is easy to use, 24/7 online help with everything and great feedback from my clients who can choose their times with ease.

Overall: I save a lot of time not having to text or email my clients to confirm their attendance to appointments. I have less cancellation and no shows due to the reminder texts and emails.

Pros: Simplybook.me was a great service around the board, when our organization decided to move some scheduling systems online. The thing I liked most was the cost effectiveness that of the service, which enabled us to try the service out and make an informed decision as to whether or not online scheduling was the right fit for us.

Cons: Although customer support was quick and always able to correct any issues we experienced, the thing I liked the least was having to contact customer support. A lot of times, the grammar in support emails and chat was so poor that it required several attempts to understand what they were trying to say.

Overall: Our experience with Simplybook.me was a great one, and it was a major player in our determining a game plan on moving all our scheduling systems online.

Pros: My customers pay up front and always turn up. They get reminders which is great. Also they can make their bookings anytime without having to speak to me.

Cons: It is hard work to set up special offer / multi pack deals and sometimes seems inflexible.

Pros: price is more that i was paying to the site that i used before ( they shut down ) it seems to be at least as good or better than many similar products . but, i won't know until i've used it for a while ( first day , today ) although only via "chat " the staff is super helpful!!!!!!

Cons: very complex, and difficult to navigate. no call center for quicker help. only "chat" . of course this seems to be the way many companies are going. you're not getting a human on the phone, and if you do, it won't be without a very heavy accent, i assume.

Pros: The calendar is very easy to use.....it links to my website beaufully my clients of all ages find it easy to use

Cons: I wish there was an option to have a 14 or 18 hour sms reminder option.......I am currently using the 12 hr reminder-unfortunately I have a 12 hour cancellation fee policy. The 18 hours sms notification is too early/long........would love to have more options such as 14 or 18 hours instead!

Overall: Very reliable has never failed on me or my clients

Pros: This is a testimonial from a client that I only received because SimplyBook works very well!

-Excellent technological part and ease of scheduling.

Loved the ease in the online scheduling process, clean, well located location and modern and new decor.

Cons: I would like to be able to do some customizations, although the system allows several and you had an option that the login screen was the first one to appear on the site.

Pros: I like the fact that it is very accessible and the Support is second to none. I like the fact that changing the look of the product is relatively easy even for someone as computer inept as myself!

Cons: I run Classes, I would like to be able to offer a single class pass plus 5 and 10 class passes. The system does nto allow for this as you have to buy the product as a membership to create the class pass. Then use the Pass. For single Use this is too long a process and will put people off. SO to be able to have the 2 systems, to just purchase a single use product at the same time as have the "membership" is pretty important. Ease of use for the client is so important and can put people off.

Overall: I have been able to set up a booking system relatively quickly

Cons: The prices and the short time for renewal are pretty expensive.

Pros: There are so many features that are easy to use but you have many ways to customize the small details. I was so happy to have a platform that took our payment method, and split our service providers schedules while linking to our personal calendars. The best part is everything is Live so you don't have to go in and remember to manually sync things they do it for you.

Cons: To get everything set up it does take some time but is so worth it. Also there is a slight learning curve but once you see the ins and out it is actually quite simple.

Overall: I couldn't be happier with them I tried so many other scheduling apps and platforms and none of them came close to this product. I ended up getting a paid membership because I can't run my business with out it because it saves me so much time.

At last the home button then no it can not take users back to your page. However you could use our widget and then the whole booking process will remain on your page so that your clients never leave your homepage. Cons: It is sometimes difficult to find your way around the admin site - especially when using so many extensions. But the help offered by the chat service has been excellent and invaluable when required.

Pros: SimplyBook.me can be used as a personal or a team tracker. It provides a more wide feature and caters to more specific needs for scheduling. Unlike other appointment tracker, SimplyBook.me can track personal appointments such as salon appointment, exercise routines or doctor check up schedules. It caters to a more vast audience. I have been using this software for the office team and for myself. Since it is highly customizable, appointments can be specific. Bookings are also possible with this software which is an advantage.

Cons: There are multiple times where booking is difficult as time coincides with other bookings which was not tracked by the software. Also, as I enter more schedules and appointments for tracking, the slower it became.

I hope these disadvantages can be looked upon for the next updates.

Overall, the software is great and highly recommended.

Comments: I have had several problems with software. One, I am a mobile business and need the home address of people who book appointments. The company is out of Iceland so sometimes there are things that are not set up right for the U.S such as, I need the AREA code when people leave there phone number. But there is a box for country code (which allows only 2 digits) where people are mistakedly putting the area code which leaves me short a digit in order to call them if I need to- Such as to ask for thewir address. I am connected to google calender and clients are not supposed to be able to book over google events in my calendar, but that has happened.

Our users are in fact from all over the world with about 50 percent of them coming from the US. Generally our US users fix beforehand the country code selector so their clients only have to insert their phone number including area code. What you are referring to is that often area code is sometimes in parenthesis and separate from the rest of number (area code). In our case the client insert area code and rest of number all together but country code can never be confused with area code as it is a country based selector. You are right that it might be confusing if people are used to typing in area code in a separate field and that is something that we will look into adding in the near future.

Booking over Google calendar event can only happen if the checkbox has not been checked where you choose to SYNC BOTH ways. Please check if that was the problem in your case.

Pros: From a user point-of-view, it is SUPER easy to use. It is both visual (as I configured each service provider to have a photo) as well as intuitive.

Something to consider is a theatre style booking, the kind they do for movies.

Cons: Some features are hard to find but with such an efficient help desk who answer questions in real time it makes the whole process very easy to use.

I would like to see you develop a theatre-style / movie booking template where users can choose a seat number and not a time. Administrators will then be able to configure their theatre space by number of rows and number of seats per row and your system will draw up a "plan" instead of the timetable schedule that you have now.

Overall: It automated a process in my school that would normally have been done manually. And since this is an online booking system, it takes out the human factor of parents coming to complain that they did not get an appropriate booking slot.

Pros: all the custom features are awesome. It is the only automated booking system that suits our needs (and we have tried a lot)

Cons: We have a lot of different services that are very similar, with only slight differences in the time or cost. We also have different instruments (categories) for these different services. Without a duplication feature when creating services, it took me literally 3 straight days (16 - 20hrs) literally!! to setup all our services one by one. It was very frustrating and I didn't even know at that point if the software was going to fit our needs. Luckily it did! A duplication would surely be a welcomed addition for all using the software. I really liked the welcome videos provided in the interface, but I feel there is a serious lack of descriptive videos on all the features available online. I would strongly recommend adding more.

Pros: I've used the free feature for a year now. I have a small consulting business and it works perfectly for my client load. I only have to "renew" every month, free of charge. I highly recommend Simplybook.me to any startup.

Cons: Because I use the free version, I can't book from my mobile device. The upgrade is affordable so once my business is ready for the next level I will get this feature.

Overall: We have up until now used a different system and found Simplybook on a search trough Google. We have just programmed it to our fir our business and needs and our impression, so far, is that it's easy to program and to use for our clients.

I have to say that our absolute best exerience so far is support though the Chat function offered by Simplybook.me. It's fast and the response is really helpful and accurate.

There are som issues regarding Approving (Extra features). If you need to use this option this is not "good" enough for companies with a lot of booking. But if you have a little volume of booking and always people that can approve the request at once/fast this feature will be perfect for you aswell.

The App possibility is a good asset.

And with some small more possibilities it will be greate.

Pros: Ease of use for my clients to schedule or change their appointments. Also, like the appointment reminders.

Cons: Clients should be able to see their appointments when looking at the schedule. I use it mostly on my IPHONE and would like an app to use instead of going through the web browser.

Pros: I like the fact that I have been able to source a product that does exactly what I need it to do and then implement it all myself without needing tech advice.

Pros: The clean layout and excellent live support.

Cons: Figuring out what their terminology mean. Some of the terminology is not so easy to figure out. Took me awhile but once I had that sorted it was a breeze. The sizes of graphics for the different themes are not readily available however the excellent people at the Live support function can give you the necessary information in seconds.

Overall: I took a long time before I decided to take the plunge with an online booking website. I am quite computer literate in that I design my own websites in WordPress and use software extensively in my coaching endeavours. One of the major obstacles was that I am in South Africa and currency control can be a nightmare. Thankfully they have a wide range of transaction options available. Of which three was available in South Africa. However the cost factors is kind of limiting and came as a surprise. A lot of expected standard features are not available as default and you have to increase your subscription to access these features.
