Patch Connect Plus helps SCCM administrators patch over 320 third-party applications(across 200 vendors) via existing Microsoft SCCM server. You can automate patching, deploy directly from a native SCCM plugin, auto-detect and publish patches and view the complete SCCM deployment data. Also, publish third-party update catalogs to SCCM current branch by downloading the catalog cab file and configuring it using auto catalog scheduler. This product is very useful to send 3rd party software deployments through SCCM and it supports wide range of application catalog in it. The publishing updates to SCCM is being handled by the product periodically and it has very clean interface to manage. Once the updates are being published, the technicians can send updates through SCCM manually or automatically (with ADR).

Pros

The first thing I like this product is that the installation/configuration part is very simple. There are some documents/info on it's website to configure it. Additionally, the product can also create packages for software deployments on SCCM automatically which is a game changer in my opinion. It supports over 1K 3rd party software and the installation parameters are also in the software packages. It's literally just-one-click operation. On the other hand, the software updates or deployments can be deployed via pre/post scripts which is big plus to customize the deployments in detail.

Cons

Even if the product can support a big range of 3rd party softwares, the technicians cannot create packages over Patch Connect Plus to update the softwares. Still as contacting with support team, other softwares which covers some requirements can be added into the catalog.

Overall this is a really good solution.

Pros

This is the best patch management solution I ever used. currently, my company also using this tool to do server patching. The reporting is also really good and the features of this tool are really well. 3rd party patch manages also working really fine and also the downstream type branch distribution also working really well. This is a really good patch management solution for large & medium scale companies

Cons

The only thing is the cost, License cost is really high and not recommended for small companies only for large and medium scale companies.
