Pros

  • Best customer service I have ever experienced. They are always quick to respond and really dig into the issue you are having to provide you with the best solution.

  • Significantly best and easy to use, the setup is quite easy to understand and can be done within a minutes. Besides, its not so expensive and a good support staff.

  • Their responsiveness, customer support, willingness to work with us to get the solutions we need is outstanding.

Cons

  • We've run into a few snags with the formatting of international currency and being limited to linking with a Google Data Sheet, but we have built in workarounds for that.

  • The widget is country specific: the search is limited to a select country. Customization of the widget from the front-end (not admin panel) is limited to a few parameters.

  • Somewhat difficult to learn since there are so many options.

"Exceptional Tool with Exceptional Customer Service"

Overall: This MetaLocator tool is easy to set-up, just as easy to manage, the customer support is exceptional, and the pricing is very reasonable. The tool allows a business to not only use a web based search, but it also allows you to use the same data source for the Interactive Voice Response (IVR), if you have a need to use that tool. The pricing for these services is very reasonable, and the customer service/support is outstanding.

Pros: Easy to Set Up Easy to Manage/Maintain Easy to Use Great Customer Support Great Package Options Very Reasonable Pricing

Cons: I cannot think of any improvements such that the tool is so easy to use and manage, and the customer service and support are great.

"I built a beautiful, user-friendly interface in 3 days!"

Overall: I was tasked with revamping our partner database, which was a huge undertaking (over 3k records). After the initial data cleaning process (which was not fun), I was able to move into the redesign of our database interface. This was the fun part. It took me 2.5 days to build the interface from scratch and complete all the customizations.

Pros: The amount of customization is phenomenal. I was able to edit every step of the user experience. No matter what I wanted there was some mix of configuration that would achieve what I needed.

Cons: The amount of customization can be overwhelming at first. There are so many different was to configure everything, it will be time consuming to set everything up initially, but it is well worth every minute of customization. The end result is aesthetically beautiful and user friendly.

"Not truly global tool"

Pros: - hundreds of options to customize the widget and display - great flexibility for data management - speed (load time of the widget) Overall one of the best tools if you can pass the configuration challenges.

Cons: - the widget is country specific: the search is limited to a select country - customization of the widget from the front-end (not admin panel) is limited to a few parameters - documentation is very shallow, examples are not working (or outdated) - customer support does not exist. You may receive a link to a documentation, but nobody will look to your issue. Summary: use as is and don't expect any fancy features from a demo. If you are looking a truly global or enterprise-level solution this is not the one.

Thanks for the review and I'll attempt to address each concern here: " the widget is country specific" It is certainly not. One of our strengths is multi-country, international search. "customization of the widget from the front-end (not admin panel) is limited to a few parameters" We have over 700 options including front-end. Everything from search options, colors, fonts and responsive behavior. I honestly can't imagine what this is referring to. "but nobody will look to your issue" We answer every customer question within our Scope of Support and SLA with an average response time of 2 hours. "documentation is very shallow," We have over 400 support articles at https://support.metalocator.com >a truly global or enterprise-level solution This is actually our specialty. Since this review is anonymous we can't address these concerns directly, but would welcome the opportunity.

"Easy Tool With Great PM & Tech Support"

Overall: My Project Manager, [sensitive content hidden] , couldn't be more helpful and cheerful, whether jumping on a call or quickly emailing me back with details.

Pros: The reporting is great and makes it easy for the Marketing team to see what information is missing.

Cons: I wish there was a more elegant solution to highlight a distributor nationwide. Currently, the map will zoom out, but the pin drop is not dead center. Also, it would be ideal to show the map not zoomed out and remain at the local level view, but list the distributor.

Cons: column mapping need to be accessible from background processesmapping should have validating and greater visibility as part of itcustomer support chat windows covers the screen, it needs to be able to be undocked so it can be moved to second monitorimport errors should be able to be sent to all admins not just to creator of job
