I can't find this combination anywhere else. Pros I really liked how easy it was to add and edit locations and their individual data. The UX/UI controls were also very easy to use. Cons Some of the advanced settings were a little more difficult to understand at first, but the initial support I received during the setup process was super thorough and helped me get through those settings for our desired outcome. August 22, 2025 5.0 Overall my experience with MetaLocator has been great. I would recommend them to any business looking for this type of solution. Pros The customer support has probably been my favorite aspect of working with MetaLocator. They had a great onboarding process getting us up and running with our new Dealer Locator and have been able to quickly support with any issues or questions that we have had along the way. The platform is easy to use and makes things rather self-sufficient which is great. Also, in comparison to other vendors we have used in the past the service and experience is substantially better and at a better price point for what you get. Cons There really haven't been many negatives when it comes to working with MetaLocator. I think just noting an area of improvement (which I believe they are looking into) would be to allow for SSO for crowdsourcing accounts. I tested a number of programs and this one was by far the best. The customer support is amazing. I love the ability to simply message someone and get answers immediately. Cons I have not had any issues. Each time I was faced with a challenge in the system, I sent a message and had an answer that day or shortly thereafter. Pros The implementation team listened carefully to the problems we were looking to solve with our locator tool. Additionally, they were thoughtful in their strategy concerning how the locator should be built to improve the user experience. Cons MetaLocator's functionality is so much better than our previous platform. One con is that, after implementation, the support team doesn't support CSS changes. But, that is also standard and makes a lot of sense of many reasons. Pros Metalocator offered all the services we wanted to make it easy for patients to look for doctors and clinics offer Plaquex treatments. They offer several templates with various funtions and designs. The set up was quite easy and support was almost immediate and very helpful. For the price they offer a great service. Cons \- the widget is country specific: the search is limited to a select country - customization of the widget from the front-end (not admin panel) is limited to a few parameters - documentation is very shallow, examples are not working (or outdated) - customer support does not exist. You may receive a link to a documentation, but nobody will look to your issue. Summary: use as is and don't expect any fancy features from a demo. If you are looking a truly global or enterprise-level solution this is not the one. One of our strengths is multi-country, international search. Everything from search options, colors, fonts and responsive behavior. I honestly can't imagine what this is referring to. "but nobody will look to your issue" We answer every customer question within our Scope of Support and SLA with an average response time of 2 hours. "documentation is very shallow," We have over 400 support articles at https://support.metalocator.com >a truly global or enterprise-level solution This is actually our specialty. Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Exceptional Tool with Exceptional Customer Service" March 8, 2017 5.0 This MetaLocator tool is easy to set-up, just as easy to manage, the customer support is exceptional, and the pricing is very reasonable. The tool allows a business to not only use a web based search, but it also allows you to use the same data source for the Interactive Voice Response (IVR), if you have a need to use that tool. The pricing for these services is very reasonable, and the customer service/support is outstanding. September 18, 2024 5.0 I was tasked with revamping our partner database, which was a huge undertaking (over 3k records). After the initial data cleaning process (which was not fun), I was able to move into the redesign of our database interface. This was the fun part. It took me 2.5 days to build the interface from scratch and complete all the customizations. Pros The amount of customization is phenomenal. I was able to edit every step of the user experience. No matter what I wanted there was some mix of configuration that would achieve what I needed. Cons The amount of customization can be overwhelming at first. There are so many different was to configure everything, it will be time consuming to set everything up initially, but it is well worth every minute of customization. It has seamlessly integrated with Salesforce and allows us to have the most up to date information on our sites. We can customize the interfaces for brand consistency and to provide the best customer experience. Pros The product is easy to use and very flexible to meet our needs. The support staff is knowledgeable, friendly and prompt with responses. Cons We've run into a few snags with the formatting of international currency and being limited to linking with a Google Data Sheet, but we have built in workarounds for that. It does what it sets out to do, lets us build flexible and customizable store/product locators. We were able to customize the interfaces much more than other competitors in order to suit our needs, at a fraction of the cost of some alternatives I looked at. Their responsiveness, customer support, willingness to work with us to get the solutions we need is outstanding. I really can't say enough about how much time and energy they spent with us figuring out bugs and tricks, since our use-case was definitely not their standard use-case. And they have continued to be responsive and to put in more time and effort than our small company would get anywhere else. I am always impressed. Cons The interface itself is not the most modern or slickest out there, and is not always intuitive. But I'm glad we're not paying extra for bells & whistles like updated interface design, and the team always admits when something is difficult to do and is there to help us. They take our questions and feedback seriously, and work hard to address bugs or problems that pop up. Pros The reporting is great and makes it easy for the Marketing team to see what information is missing. Cons I wish there was a more elegant solution to highlight a distributor nationwide. Currently, the map will zoom out, but the pin drop is not dead center. Also, it would be ideal to show the map not zoomed out and remain at the local level view, but list the distributor. The set up is pretty easy and can be done in a few minutes. All you have to do is to login and add locations (or import locations from a file). Then you need to copy the line of codes into the code of your website and you are already done. The software allows you to choose from different options. However, the pre-configured themes are already good enough for normal use.
