The platform made it simple to upload and manage a large list of locations, and the ability to fine-tune the look with custom CSS gave me total creative control. Overall, Storemapper a powerful, user-friendly solution that delivers a professional, fully branded store locator with minimal hassle that I will recommend to industry peers. Pros It was great to have full flexibility with custom CSS, so I could perfectly match colors, fonts, and pin designs to my brand. Uploading my entire location list was effortless: I simply prepared a CSV, imported it, and everything populated within minutes. Their chat agents are also extremely helpful. \[sensitive content hidden\] . in particular was a rockstar. She helped me push a strange issue immediately to the dev team to get things resolved for a quick turnaround timeline I have on my end. Cons The backend is occasionally slow to refresh after edits, and there isn’t a one-click way to clear the location cache. Sometimes you need to re-save or re-import records to force a map update. Bulk editing tools are limited, so making changes to many locations at once can be time-consuming. It's been a roller coaster to find this solution, then to understand it and sort out the bugs that come up along the way. Pros Customer support/service! We were looking for a way to solve our mapping problem - how do we show customers where to go? Our best thinking until Storemapper was Google maps and it just didn't look right. Then comes a piece of software that works and it comes with an extra team member! \[sensitive content hidden\] is patient, listens to really understand our use case and then supports us in implementing a solution that works! Cons I need to assign someone to this software to really understand it and make the best use of its potential. At this stage good enough is good enough, but long term Storemapper really requires the investment to fully utilize the capabilities here. E.g. there's a setting to make the map run better when it has a lot to load. When I was sitting down with a partner business (one of our customers) it didn't work properly. Luckily it's early enough that the customer understood but it was a scary moment for me. (Once again a quick call with \[sensitive content hidden\] and the issue is sorted! Thank you!) My recommendation is to spend the time to learn and test before launching customer facing builds. Pros We love how easy it was to set up and make frequent updates which we do quite a lot for these two music holidays....we have over 2500 locations in our Storemapper database and at anytime time close to 1,000 of these locations are being displayed on the Map for Teach Music Week (March) and/or Kids Music Day (October). Cons We've utilized StoreMapper for both Teach Music Week and Kids Music Day for 4 years now and nothing negative to report at this time...
