September 25, 2017 5.0 Firmwide consistency in our branding - which is really important. It saves me hassles, it saves me time. The customization of the software is so practical and almost too good to be true. But it's TRUE! Pros I like the instant updates, firmwide. I like the interface both on the back and front end. I love the organization of the site. I love how quickly I can download data. And Seismic saves me hours per week. Cons I find it difficult to get training at my level - partially because what I use Seismic for is very specific. Plug ins usually break my PPT. Review Source Sage C. Seismic houses a ton of resources and collateral for us to use to help educate us and our clients/partners. It is easy to find what ever youre looking for with the search bar, otherwise very organized with the different folders! Their reaction to those suggestions is always top on their list. They are striving to be user friendly, and that level of service, and reaction to those suggestions, certainly speaks to that. Pros The software is very intuitive. Search engine is a format similar to what we are used to on platforms such as google. Allows for favorites, common, and keyword searches. Takes the fumbling around through drop down menus out of the equation. Cons Sometimes trying to just use menus to find topics can be daunting, depending on the # of menus, or levels of tiered topics. August 2, 2017 4.0 Obtaining a central content repository that most all employees can access. The content also gets pushed into the Salesforce interface based on predictive content configuration. The tracking and reporting is also better than our old system, which was a series of online folders. Pros Provides a central repository that pushes predictive content into Salesforce along with tracking and reporting capabilities. Cons My current company made the classic mistake of not performing enough up front preparation and design/structure strategy before starting to use Seismic. I am now trying to help them clean up and organize our content and develop business rules for admins and user. However, this is not the fault of Seismic. Review Source OC Olivia C. Pros Content is easy to find, the insights from content engagement and the reports and dashboards are extremely helpful and detailed. Rather intuitive. I like the way filtering to find specific types of documents for specific purposes. Cons It really depends on the content. If you don't have much, then it won't be very useful. Sometimes sharing with prospects is a pain as well. Tracking is nice, but the extra step can sometimes prevent someone from opening since they don't want to enter their info again. I really like using the resource when prospecting and its organization makes it easy to find what I am looking for quickly. It's been incredibly helpful in my role as a BDR. Pros I really like the organized, neat, clean userface of Seismic. Navigation is pretty seamless and I am able to find resources with a quick search. Cons I don't know that there is much to dislike. I feel like the number of times that reps have had to reach out to marketing to ask about collateral has been cut down, because of Seismic's search functionality. It's also a lot easier to track prospect acitivites, which is a feature we didn't have in content management platforms prior. Pros \- Salesforce Integration - Really user friendly! - Good seach functionality - Visibility into prospect activities Cons Right now, I don't have any major complaints with Seismic. The tool is great and very flexible but the customer success teams are dedicated to just that - my team's success. Cons The Control Center requires Silverlight, so it doesn't work in Chrome or on my phone, which limits what I can do while I am on the go. But, that is going to be updated in the near future.
