February 13, 2018 5.0 Pros The ability to handle most aspects of a client matter in one centralized location has proven to be the most efficient part of using Practice Panther. Our favorite sub-feature is the workflow organization, which allows us to map out future tasks and events in a matter. This provides an useful map of the case, and helps organize our work. Cons Some of the software integrations can take time to set up; better defaults would be helpful. It's super easy to use and great for those who aren't educated with computer programs and such. I have everything in front of me and don't really need to worry about logging into other sites. My employees love it just as much because we are all connected and can see what tasks are coming up. Definitely recommend this to those with small businesses like me. Pros I like the invoicing tool the best, it allows us to see how often a client has viewed their bill. In addition it makes addition of interest every simple. Also, clients can click a link and pay directly. Makes collection . Ugh easier as well. Cons The only thing I wish it would do, is make a calendar entry a time entry with the cluck if a button indicating it is complete. Would save on duplicating steps. Pros I like being able to track all my matters, tasks, and contacts in one place, while integrating with my other cloud services, like Google Suite and Quickbooks Online. Cons As a new user, I've had a couple of questions about how to use things and get the most out of the integrations, but the help staff has been great getting me up to speed. I'd love to see a secure client portal that doesn't rely on a second sign in to Box.com. That's a bit clunky and not what people are used to with client portals. Review Source KV Kelly V. Pros I really like the email integration. The workflow feature is very helpful and keeps everyone on top of their assigned tasks. Our firm likes the ability to be able to add in whatever information we need per the type of case. Cons The payment feature because we do not currently utilize this feature of the program. Pros I am moving towards checklist based practice methods and automation, so I really like the templates and workflows that allow me to save a lot of time. Cons Trust accounting reconciliation and tasks are not intuitive. It took me awhile to figure it was under "activities". I wish there was direct bank syncing, rather than through Quickbooks. Pros It is super easy to use and initial set up was a breeze. It offers a lot of features for a very reasonable price. Training and support were readily accessible when needed. Pros It is easy to use and I like having it on the go. One feature I liked was that I could hide client info if I ever need to check in and add billing on the go. I'm happy to let you know we just released a new feature called "Privacy Mode" which lets you hide the financials from the dashboard. DJ/Event Manager Entertainment Used the software for: ### "PayPanther keeps me organized" June 16, 2014 5.0 I run a DJ music blog and have a private event DJ company catered to social and corporate events. Pay panther has helped us manage our contacts, leads , clients, and most importantly - upcoming gigs. The user interface is very easy to use (which is very important to us coming from the internet industry). We use the shared calendar to schedule meetings and track our events. We love the project management feature although we wish we could rename it to "Gigs" instead of "Projects" but we've been told that's coming soon anyhow. It's made us much more organized as well as make us realize how unorganized we were before just using shared excel spreadsheets and our shared calendar with Google. Practice Panther is hands down the easiest and best software I've used. Pros I like how easy it is to use and how well it works with quickbooks. I'm no bookkeeper by any stretch of the imagination, but Practice Panther makes me look like I'm good at it. Cons I think it's a little pricey, especially with a small office like mine. December 4, 2017 5.0 A great web based firm management tool that really helps my firm run smoothly. Pros Without a doubt, the support. I have called late in the evening for help and they are there. The support staff walks me through whatever I need and are very patient with me. When there is something that the software is not yet able to do, they make a note of that. They are constantly adding helpful features. Cons Once in a while (once a week or so) when I click the timer at the top of the webpage, it doesn't display as started. It used to be very time consuming doing everything multiple times and keeping track of our notepads and excel spreadsheets (esepcially when we spilled coffee on them). The software has helped us get control of your clients and reorganize our business. Pros Took us minutes to setup for the first time and figure out how to use custom fields. The only thing I would change would be a way to personalize invoices a little more. Pros Ability to keep time and create invoices from those time inputs. Cons The fact that I can't color coordinate the calendar once I sync it to my gmail, it all appears in one color. Pros The tasks and What's Happening now feature are great to keep the whole team up to date and working on the cases. The customizable intakes and custom fields feature are great for making the data storage process as effective as possible. Cons There are some minor quirks with slight delays in loading instant searches on the search bars and some minor issues in the importation of data from a different software. Not to mention the convenience of having a single button on every screen that can take me anywhere on the site. Ultra convenient! Cons The only con I can really list is that the mobile app appears to be a port from the website using the app as a wrapper. I'd really like to see a fully native iPhone app that doesn't require scrolling or zooming in and out to get things done. Review Source SD Simone D. Pros The functionality far surpasses any existing offerings in the South African market but more importantly PP offers amazing support and knowledgeable staff members which is a huge benefit to the entrepreneur. PracticePanther is more cost-effective and it is a far superior application to those currently being offered in the South African space. I also greatly appreciate that customer support is very fast and helpful. Any questions I have, I can message them through a chat and have a response within minutes. AJ has been very helpful even though I asked so many questions. Cons I feel that I definitely need to watch more of the intro videos so I do not have to rely on customer support.
