I switched to a competitor due to the slower updates and to make use of other features which Trainerize didn't have yet. Pros I loved the programming ease and being able to make changes to programs easily, the interface was very user friendly and my clients enjoyed the look and feel of the app. I enjoyed using Stripe to integrate payments for products and subscriptions I found this easy to set up and navigate. The cost for the app is pretty on par with competitors so the value for money is good. Cons I found some of the videos quite outdated for the exercise demos, I sometimes struggled to find a good form video and so uploaded a lot of my own instead. The integrations were lacking, being able to integrate a android watch would have been beneficial for my clients. I had to go back and forth with the customer support team when I wanted to unlink my Stripe account from Trainerize - I got resolved but could have been smoother and more efficient. I loved being able to upload custom workouts, videos, and progressions so clients could follow their plans clearly and confidently at home or in the gym. Cons There is nothing that I dislike about this app. If I need to think of one, it is the UI of the app that doesn’t look much appealing. Honestly the best feature is the ability to auto schedule messages. It would be nice to have MFP syncing issues resolved and the ability to delete automated messages without manually deleting one at a time. In general it's the same price for many other platforms out there that can do the same thing. Pros I like the ability to schedule in the calendar and even schedule auto messages. That feature is really nice and missing on a lot of platforms. Cons The issues with MyFitnessPal syncing over is constantly a pain. I've reached out to support multiple times and it's just an ongoing issue. It would be nice to have the same food database in Trainerize so clients who eat out don't have to use MFP. The ongoing problems have made my job longer and more tedious, because I have to individually go into each person MFP and calculate averages myself. It has everything you need to run your fitness business. Everything is simple on both the trainer side and client side. Pros Trainerize has so many features for both the trainer and the client. It’s really a one stop shop for everything you could need to run your fitness business. Cons There are a couple of features I wish they had that could help on the trainer side of things but they are always open to suggestions for the future. Pros Creating more advanced Training Programs which can be broken down into phases. This is a unique feature that I have not seen on other PT software that I have used. Cons I do not like the how ABC Trainerize looks in comparison to My PT Hub. I do not find Trainerize to be very user friendly/suitable for me. It covers the basics, but I expected a bit more in terms of features or a modern touch. Pros I liked that ABC Trainerize is straightforward and easy to use. It doesn’t overwhelm you with unnecessary bells and whistles—just the essential tools you need to get the job done efficiently. Cons I didn’t like that the workouts in the app looked outdated and not very modern. Also, syncing with MyFitnessPal wasn’t very smooth and could definitely be improved.
