My overall experience is good. I find the website useful.

Pros

I like the support with cloning the Community Force scholarship application. The online webinars are useful. I like the ability for reviewers to score the essays which helps with determining scholarship awards.

Cons

UCONN School of Nursing has a one-to-many scholarship application. It would be useful if the individual scholarship names could appear in the award notifications.

Despite the initial setup, our experience with CommunityForce has been overwhelmingly positive. The platform has brought structure and efficiency to what was once a cumbersome process. We've been able to scale our scholarship program from supporting 50 applicants to over 200 without adding staff, thanks to the automation and streamlined workflows.

Pros

The platform's automated workflow management has been a game-changer. What previously required countless hours of manual processing now flows seamlessly through customizable review stages. The applicant interface is intuitive, which has significantly reduced support requests from applicants. I particularly appreciate the ability to hide certain applicant demographic data for an unbiased review process and the new AI detection feature - this has been invaluable for our review process.

Cons

Initial setup was intricate, but the implementation and support teams were very responsive and our applications were live by our needed deadline.

Overall, my experience with Community Force has been very positive. They are responsive to any issues and quickly respond.

Pros

Community Force is a very good platform for managing our student grant processes. It is generally pretty intuitive and the help center of resources fills in any gaps. I like the notification system and the ease of sending student proposals out to reviewers. The reviewer system is easy to navigate for our reviewers as well. The system integrates with our Single Sign On and Banner, which is really nice for our students. And for the price point, it is wonderful!

Cons

I wish you had a bit more control over the auto-feeds into the notifications and I wish their was a way for students to collaborate on a proposal where you could keep some sections of the application private (so one student wouldn't see the private info of another student).

Pros

Community Force fits our needs to recruit scholars. I am new to the program so I have reached out to customer support multiple times. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] were both helpful and went above and beyond my expectations to ensure I was able to access the required data. They also helped to customize the questions as needed. I am impressed with the sincerity of their employees and the quickness of their responses.

Cons

The software is not as user friendly due to html coding on the front side but it is easily learned.

Customer service responds incredibly fast. Users log the issue through the Zen Desk and an email is sent almost immediately for initial troubleshooting, after which a tech representative follows up with step-by-step assistance. Community Force's customer service is their strongest asset.

Pros

Having the ability to set up a scholarship program with over 130 scholarships with varied criteria was a great benefit. We are able to have one common application that matches student information to each scholarship fund's criteria. The program tracks scholarship award amounts annually, has the ability for students to accept their scholarship via the same application, and we can communicate with students through the program with notifications of upcoming deadlines and other vital information. The common application can also be cloned and updated each year so a new application is not created from zero yearly.

Cons

We do wish a text messaging option were available to communicate since students are very text-driven.
