Pros: Logos is an unbelievalble tool for Bible research, sermon writing and background research. I am constantly referring to many of the tools in several different tabs.

Cons: Some of the features are very difficult to use. The software is extremely powerful but some of the searches are difficult to figure out.

Overall: Logos is an unbelievalble tool for Bible research, sermon writing and background research.

Pros: Makes word studies so easy. Makes me a more effective Greek student. Helps me easily decide which versions of scripture to use for certain applications.

Cons: Not visually pretty (not that it really NEEDS to be though...). I think it would be great to add some extra devotionals or preaching stories applicable to various passages.

Pros: Love the fact that you can search across all resources and instantly pull those resources up in the links - basically like wikipedia. Saves so much time in searching out important resources. The portability of a library is also great. Being able to pick up where you left off on one device is also super useful. The extensive tools for studying the original languages are also incredibly useful - even if it takes a few hours to learn them all.

Cons: Slows down your computer a lot if it isn't powerful enough. Some things are not as intuitive as could be hoped, but fortunately there are really good Youtube channels to explain how to use it. The mobile app doesn't have/allow for the reading out loud option.

Overall: Financially, buying logos was challenging, but the reward was a great variety of tools. Don't buy beyond what you will use, however. Lot's of things look great, but you'll only ever use a fraction of it.

Pros: I like that I can access what I want whenever and wherever! I like that I can set goals, read daily devotionals, and have access to books that I would typically have to purchase individually.

Cons: The least I like about this software is the efficiency in reading scripture as far as keeping track of where you last read.

Overall: Growth!

Pros: Logos has been a go-to program for my personal study as a pastor for well over a decade. From their word-studies to the available commentaries, Logos is the one stop shop when it comes to Bible-study applications.

One of the greatest aspects about Logos is they have changed with the times. Since much of my studies and research is not accomplished in my church office, I now can access these tools on my phone, tablet or laptop.

If you are new to Logo, begin with the FREE Logo 7-Basic. I truly believe you will find their resources as helpful as I have.

Cons: Because Logos has so much to offer (i.e., original languages, courses, lexicons, commentaries, sermons, journals and multiple translations), getting to know the flow of the software can be a bit overwhelming at first. However, it is rather user-friendly and intuitive.

Overall: Logos provides all the necessary resources available for accurate and in-depth study of the Bible at your finger-tips. The greatest benefit is having the resources available at any moment on my tablet or phone. This is a must-have tool for anyone studying the Bible for personal benefit, or teaching others.

Great way for spiritual growth, starter packet it's a bit expensive.

Pros: Got the free trial and it's a great way to study the Bible and God himself more deeply, excellent way to compare versions and other books. It's great that you can have that with you on your phone

Cons: The translation comparisons are my least favorite, it took a while for me to get it. some of the 17 books were not what I would of pick. I've only used the free trial, still thinking about buying a packet.

Pros: It is easier to use than most worship software. Seems to be designed with ministers in mind who are busy and wanting to quickly load worship slides.

Cons: It can seem complicated but customer support will work with you. Can be time consuming but worth it in the end

Pros: Logos offers a massive library. I have books on every area of theology at the tips of my fingers. I love being to open large works on my laptop, phone or tablet.

Cons: The languages tools, though I'm told they are excellent, are very difficult to use. I've had logos for four years and I still don't know how to use most of it.

Overall: I love the library!

Pros: I like that the team can make updates in other locations and not have multiple copies like PowerPoint. I also like that slides can be jumped if necessary. I like that it offers scrolling text at the bottom to notify people without stopping an event.

Cons: The upload function does not work the best. One of the teammates uploads a PowerPoint presentation into it and the system loses all the data and just leaves the right amount of blank slides.

The library of backgrounds just loads them in order of download which makes it hard to find the right one if you have many backgrounds.

Overall: Project slides for events.

Pros: I like the ease of use and the package deals that are available for this software. I do believe it is the most updated software for church presentation on the market.

Cons: Price. Though it is not to bad I wish there was a basic version that would be a one time payment and not an monthly fee.

Overall: Great product and is everything you need in your church, however the cost for a small church maybe to much. There are other softwares that will fit the need at a better deal. However I will have to say they are not as good.

Pros: It's easy to use.

Cons: Can get costly over time.

Overall: Proclaim has been easy to learn to use. It is full featured and the user interface is very intuitive. They have some extra nice features built into the software such as the availability of pre-made professional slides that can be easily purchased incorporated into a presentation. Also, I think it was genius that they designed the software with the ability to record a sermon and made that feature super easy by creating buttons to the use in your regular playlist to start and stop the recording.

Pros: I like the ease of use of this software and the array of features. It makes it easy to make a large number of slides without having to format each individual when creating song lyrics or a long list of points.

Cons: Max video upload is 300 megabytes, which isn't too bad, most of the time you wouldn't need that large of a file. The Program can be a bit laggy at times especially if you don't sync your slides a little bit ahead of your service or program.

Overall: I use proclaim to create slides for church services as well as just a general platform for managing what goes up on the screen during services at our church. Our preschool also uses it to do presentations and activities with their classes

Recommendations to other buyers: This is a great software, but depending on your organization size and service setup you might do just as well with a cheaper and simpler keynote, powerpoint, or google slides.

Overall: I've demoed Proclaim several times now, wanting to switch our lyric and projection software. I really want to use Proclaim, but it just doesn't seem to fit our needs. They are a cloud solution, first and foremost, which provides some nice integrations and collaborative tools, but it seems to hinder other parts of the software. It's dependent on a CCLI license and SongSelect integration, which adds to already expensive pricing. The software is also focused on upselling you to the other Faithlife products, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the costs quickly balloon and just aren't reasonable for most churches.

Pros: Easy to get started and fast learning curve. Cloud-based data storage - syncs across all devices - IOS, Android, Mac OS, Windows. Subscription-based pricing - very affordable and high-value feature set for the price.

Cons: Song management UI to make it easier to manage a master list of songs independent of a particular presentation project. Audio recording project history and post-service publishing and review after going off-air and shutting down Proclaim would be a great enhancement.

Overall: Just started using Proclaim for a recent worship weekend where we had a total of five hours of worship with multiple worship teams. Proclaim did the job and more and was very easy to setup and ran flawlessly throughout the weekend - highly recommend this cloud-based platform for flexibility across devices and desktop OSs.

Pros: Simple, easy to use presentation software. Interface is great for volunteers to help use.

Cons: Connections to the presentation can be slow, causing slide transitions to happen with a significant lag. Limited display options. Inability to insert new slides within a song. Bugs and quirks abound.

Overall: Proclaim is a cloud based SAAS for churches looking to present songs, slides, videos, and more. Part of the FaithLife family of products, Proclaim offers integrations with a number of the other FaithLife products for advanced features. Proclaim will push Bible verse or screen cues to congregants using the FaithLife Logos Bible app. We have found this feature to be clever, but not terribly useful, as most people use the LifeChurch Bible app at our location.

There are a number of quirks in the Proclaim software... it will overwrite songs if you press enter to early when loading a song. Cloud based is great, but the presentation will sometimes lag if the connection to their servers are not strong. Presentation options are limited.

Basically, if you are looking to use it outside of their *exact* intention, your user experience may suffer. However, if you are comfortable in the box that they provide, you will be rewarded with some great presentation software.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is a great platform for a smaller church with limited resources. If you can get past the bugs and know how to work with the software, you will be rewarded with a rich presentation
