"Empower will kill your productivity"

**Overall:** Terrible. I’m not really sure how there are this many positive reviews. Terrible software that my company forces me to use. Please fix this.

**Pros:** Some of the features are a little easier to manipulate than the default PowerPoint features. Looks pretty professional at the end.

**Cons:** It’s the buggiest, slowest, most aggravating thing to ever happen to PowerPoint. In fact, I’m typing this in between clicks while working in empower. If I open up a chart and manipulate data, half the time it completely crashes PowerPoint and I lose all my work. The other half of the time it takes upwards of a minute in between clicks for PowerPoint to catch up. At this point, I would seriously consider empower to be malware. This is no hyperbole. This has been a common theme despite multiple updates over the last 2 years.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We want to clarify an important point. Describing empower as “malware” or saying it “kills your productivity” doesn’t reflect the software itself. With over 3 million users over the past 15 years and operations under ISO 27001 certification, empower has a strong track record. Issues like PowerPoint crashes, slow response times, or data loss are not caused by empower. These problems often stem from how Office, add-ins, graphics drivers, security tools, or system settings interact - sometimes in unstable ways. That’s why we offer structured diagnostics for users experiencing difficulties. Without examining the affected system, a reliable root cause analysis isn’t possible. What’s surprising is this: you mention serious issues lasting nearly two years, yet your first contact with us is a public review. That won’t solve anything. If you’d like our help, our support team is ready and available: support@empowersuite.com
