### "Consistent PowerPoint Presentations"

I’ve been using empower for two years, and it’s made a huge difference in how my team creates presentations. It helps with design, layout, and template management, making sure everything stays on-brand and consistent across our team. If you create PowerPoint presentations regularly, empower is a great tool. It’s made my workflow faster and smoother, and I’d definitely recommend it. Given how much time it saves and the quality it ensures, I think it’s a solid investment.

Pros

The layout tools, design checks, and shared library make it easy to create polished presentations quickly. I don’t have to worry about slides looking messy or off-brand. It is also great for team collaboration - everyone uses the same templates and assets, so there’s no confusion or outdated slides floating around. The ability to automate updates across slides is a huge plus. If something goes wrong, the support team is quick, helpful, and patient. They even record troubleshooting videos, which saves time when similar issues pop up later.

Cons

I find it intuitive, but some colleagues struggle with certain features. A proper onboarding might help, but with busy schedules, that’s not always easy.

Good | can be recommended to office team members Floating license/ trial version access if offered, should make experience best.

Pros

Easy to use | Support from team if in any need is appropriate, precise | Auto renewal option is working well.

Cons

Migration of existing charts from old file (made with old version) to current version takes time. The migration shouldn't take much time. Can have floating license for use between team (even for single use) to promote usage.

Terrible. I’m not really sure how there are this many positive reviews. Terrible software that my company forces me to use. Please fix this.

Pros

Some of the features are a little easier to manipulate than the default PowerPoint features. Looks pretty professional at the end.

Cons

It’s the buggiest, slowest, most aggravating thing to ever happen to PowerPoint. In fact, I’m typing this in between clicks while working in empower. If I open up a chart and manipulate data, half the time it completely crashes PowerPoint and I lose all my work. The other half of the time it takes upwards of a minute in between clicks for PowerPoint to catch up. At this point, I would seriously consider empower to be malware. This is no hyperbole. This has been a common theme despite multiple updates over the last 2 years.

Very good. I use it on a wide variety of presentations. I particularly like the slide library function, to store and re-use slides

Great charts. Simple side bar to navigate a wide range of formatting options without having to search through menus. Access to a wide range of icons and images. Excellent charting tools

Cons

Can slow down Powerpoint after a while. I find I have to restart Powerpoint after a couple of hours of use.

Overall, the software performs as expected. It offers useful, easy-to-use functionality for charts, particularly Gantt charts, which are valuable for project management. Empower also provides a convenient and intuitive PowerPoint plug-in that streamlines slide creation and formatting.

Cons

The main drawback is that it can slow PowerPoint’s performance. Additionally, if the empower plug-in is uninstalled or the service drops out for any reason, I’m unable to update or modify any charts previously created through empower within PowerPoint.

I'm regretting the purchase because of the template formatting option limitations.

Pros

I like the convenience of having ready made and formatted charts, tables, etc.

Cons

It doesn't allow me to change my preferred theme. The default preference for Empower Express is a light background, however, our organization's PowerPoint templates are dark backgrounds with white or light text. This make working with Empower Express tedious because I have to wasting time changing the colors.

Very easy to use, I love the icons, images that are placed and can be replaced automatically. I also like the translation option and the numerous of templates, infographics and inspiration material

Pros

We use Empower daily. We have designed thousand of slides for our clients. It is easy to use and learn. It helps us minimize our time by 60-70%. We also like the automated consistency check tools.

Cons

Maybe some more functionalities would be great.

It is a valuable tool that has helped increase our productivity in our lab. The user interface is easy to use, making it a great asset to our operations. These features help keep your data safe.

Pros

It is a great tool for managing chromatography data. It's easy to use and provides lots of helpful features, like customizable reports and regulatory compliance features. I especially appreciate the intuitive interface and the fact that it's fast and easy to collect and process data. Plus, the customer support is great, so if I ever have any questions, I know I can get help right away. Overall, Empower is an excellent solution for managing chromatography data.

Cons

It has a lot of features and it is easy to use. However, there are some downsides to it. The user interface can be confusing, and there have been times when the software has slowed down or crashed. Additionally, the support organization is good, but you need to contact them more often than you'd like.

The library function is great as all colleagues have access to the same content and templates. With only a few clicks you have a selection of many icons, templates, slides, content - helps creating more professional slide decks.

Cons

I think AI features are missing. Comparable tools already have the ability to use AI generated content/templates which is very helpful and saves a lot of time and effort.

with this feature we can modernize the presentations, currently I use it is powerpoint, not only does it have a good gallery of images, it has more functions that help you correct errors organize your presentations so that they are more attractive when presenting an important report, very well this function of empower in power point

empower slides is easy to use and helps users to centrally manage important PowerPoint slides e.g. for monthly reportings. It informs the consumers of presentations about newer versions of slides and ensures that up-to-date information is communicated/presented

provide collections of single slides which can be edited by their authors individually organize slides in a folder hierarchy with fine granular permissions

Cons

The administration requires a deeper Windows server and SQL database knowledge. I am missing an administration cockpit/UI.
