Hutchinson- Prezi" February 17, 2022 4.0 My overall experience is good as when I make presentations, my Power Points stand out. Pros This software will give you an unique advantage as it relates to the creativity of your presentation thus allowing your presentation to stand out. Cons It will take some time to adjust to its features and be able to access the full capabilities of the platform Alternatives considered [Microsoft PowerPoint](https://www.capterra.com/p/141633/PowerPoint/) Reason for choosing Prezi Creative Templates available in Prezi outweighed that of Microsoft PowerPoint Switched from [Google Slides](https://www.capterra.com/p/178686/Google-Slides/)[Microsoft Power BI](https://www.capterra.com/p/176586/Power-BI/) I made the switch due to the level of creative possibilities which the Prezi platform afforded to me Review Source VR Verified Reviewer Academic Instructor Higher Education Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Good and Convenient " September 19, 2019 5.0 This software saved my time a lot. You can use a lot of multimedia. Huge amount of templates and pre-designed ideas. Cons Very sluggish if you are not on high end computer system. If an error appears, sometimes is not easy to figure out what's happening to solve it and avoid making it again. Tons of features that may overwhelm the user to do simple stuff. Switched from [Microsoft PowerPoint](https://www.capterra.com/p/141633/PowerPoint/) Trying a more fancy alternative Review Source Luis Enrique G. Pros What I love the most about prezi is how easy it is to work with it, you can make the most beautiful and smoothest presentations without being or needing a graphic designer. It is a good way to impress someone when doing a presentation. Cons It's paid version is really expesnive, and since most of the times people will require you to use powerpoint presentations you will not get the most from it all of the time. " April 9, 2019 5.0 With Prezi , I can make professional presentations with eye-catching content. It enables me to represent the services in an efficient way and gains the trust of the audience in most reliable way. Pros Prezi Business comes with the most advance way of making presentation slides. We can choose from several of modern templates and designs and can implement them in our slides. We can also easily arrange the content and can add attachments too. Gaining the access to the account is also very much easy and reliable. We have already improved the way we present our products and services to the clients and the employees. It has enabled us to take a step forward easy preparation of presentation with minimal efforts. Cons With Prezi , I've encountered few issues which includes difficult user-interface and hard to implement designs and expensive templates. Thus , a simple basic user can't even use it properly. It's really hard and time-taking to implement all the features and the additive tools. Prezi for Business is also somehow quite expensive . But all the features and qualities of this tool are worth each and every penny. Review Source Surabhi S. With cloud storage it gives me chance to use it from any devices, which came for 36-84 USD for year , which varies from other similar services provider. Easy interface makes our task easier. They need to improve in some tools section also, That's not a big issue here. Pros Cloud based presentation maker software, give me chance to view and edit my presentation from any devices. As well as I can store all my presentation in the cloud. Sharing with a group of people is very easy in Prezi. Security and Privacy is well maintained and I can easily able to download my presentation and use in offline. They continuously update their resources and added new presentation styles Cons Sometime I faced , some tools have lack of precision during use, not fully customized. They need to work on their Support too. Switched from [Microsoft PowerPoint](https://www.capterra.com/p/141633/PowerPoint/) I want to try cloud based presentation making software so that I can operate from any place. December 8, 2021 5.0 Prezi has been the solution to a lot of our presentation problems. Benefits including ease of use and saving of time have been realized. Pros My favorite feature is the customizable template feature. Cons Sometimes, the software lags and that is what I like least about Prezi. Review Source VR Verified Reviewer Senior Manager Higher Education Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Much more powerful and engaging than PowerPoint" June 13, 2019 5.0 Has really helped with student engagement in lectures and training sessions. Pros Really innovative visualizations which keep growing and expanding all the time. Over the past three years the range has really exploded and it's much easier now to create timelines and complex animation paths than before. Cons It's easy to overuse the animation effects which some audiences have complained about motion sickness. Use them in moderation and don't feel the need to over do it. Review Source ET Evelyne T. The app is a good idea and functional. They have some good templates. Cons 1) Difficult to use—I spent a lot of time learning to use it. And was actually quite excited about it initially but it is much harder to learn and navigate than other presentation software. PowerPoint is a better bet. 2. Program is unreliable—there are huge glitches. I lost sleep over this and am pretty angry about the company’s lack of response to my request for a refund, which is justified in my opinion. I couldn’t use it for the presentation after over 30 hours of work. —Black screen error (makes editing impossible—not just hard) and takes a computer science major to fix (I tried to add the suggested computer code but didn’t have any luck) —When transferring between computers you can lose all your formatting —DO NOT USE THIS FOR A SERIOUS PRESENTATION 3) Try not to use the zoom in feature too much. It makes people dizzy if they get motion sick easily. Less so when you keep the lines straight (meaning the path for the slides). When they are curved the rotation can be too much for some people. I like that I can share it with others easily. I like that you can have many effects in your presentation. Zoom in and then zoom out to see the full presentation. I like all the options that are available for this software. I like the creativity of it. Cons I do not really like that other people can see what you have made. I am a person who likes to share, but I do not like that it can pop up when people are looking for information about that topic. I can't be critical at all. Because my presentations with Prezi made a significant impact on the audience, and after the presentation, I got feedback for sure that your presentation was excellent. Well, this is a great event for me. Powerful with dynamic and page transitions are intriguing. The templates are more expansive than I can imagine, and there are slides suitable for every theme. There is no need to worry. Cons Honestly, I can't make a negative comment. maybe it could have been more affordable or had monthly payment bands. It fulfills its functions! Pros It is the most dynamic way to make presentations. Used it for really important creative projects (mostly commercial). Pros Prezi is the answer for your question "how can I make a beautiful presentation?". I like to make presentations in Prezi because I can use any data and media and they will look much better and original than on a classic pages mode. It is interactive and provides more freedom. I am not limited with the page format. Cons Requires good Internet connection, sometimes presentation can run slower than expecting due to various effects, and requires some knowledge from the person who views my presentation, when I just share it online.
