Food & Beverages Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Flashy with a side of bugs" December 5, 2025 3.0 Overall, my experience with Prezi is a bit lukewarm because from the user end, viewing the presentation is amazing because it is different and feels more interactive than PowerPoint. It’s something new and different that is outside of what users usually see. However, from the back end as a builder of presentations, you can get easily frustrated because of the preset settings within each frame or slide and having to constantly zoom in and out of each slide. Pros What I like most about Prezi is that the interactive feature is embedded and built-in, which makes it easy to quickly make presentations and focus on what content to deliver. There are several design options, which gives you the opportunity to either do the corporate branding design or to come up with your own. What I also like about Prezi is it ability to integrate different types of files, especially media files, and have the capability to play that media file within the presentation. Cons It can be really difficult to navigate when building Prezi presentations because you have to constantly zoom in and out which can cause bugs and issues because of the user interface you are required to work with. Pros The ease of creating visually appealing presentations when needed. Prezi has been one of my favorite presentation platforms to use since high school and being able to integrate fun yet professional presentations into my work when needed is a delight. Cons When comparing Prezi to Microsoft PowerPoint, it can be a bit confusing. I'd say the only real downside to Prezi is the learning curve. It takes some business hours to train employees to use it, but overall it has been worth it as an alternative to traditional presenting solutions. Pros Our meetings are usually 2 to 3 hours, and it can be boring to sit through a linear way of going through topics. Prezi adds an element of interactivity to the way you navigate presentations. Cons I think there is a learning curve with Prezi. It is not straightforward to start making presentations. Also when overusing effects it can be a bit distracting.
