With SlideDog you can blend PowerPoints, PDFs, websites, Prezis, videos and more together without having to stop the flow of your speech to bring up the next item on the screen. It's perfect for people who use multiple forms of media in their presentations and also an especially great tool when you have multiple presenters at an event. It was great until my subscription renewed in early May 2026. I have been subscribed since 2022 and have never had a problem. We went to display our church service videos/PowerPoints at the beginning of the service and it said I needed to update the key. After working 2 weeks with the \[sensitive content hidden\] , it still did not work. He told me he sent me a refund, but it never came, and he stopped communicating with me.

Pros

Ease of use and functionality. I could train my team to use it quickly and it worked great on my production and development computers.

Cons

When you lose focus of the window running Slidedog (on a Windows 11 machine) the PowerPoint presentation would hang until you restart it by selecting one of the slides.

Switched from

OpenLP was glitchy and it wasn't user friendly.

Pros

SlideDog was easy to use and had numerous functions available for use. WIth guides on how to use them as well as being intuitive, SlideDog is a powerful piece of software for all ranges of users.

Cons

Live editing. SlideDog fell short when I wanted to edit slives live for users to view. I had to resort to PowerPoint for this key function. Additionally, the cost seems quite high and could hold back small businesses.

Pros

It is very easy to navigate and does exactly what it promised. It is really great to merge different formats into a presentation without worrying how to attach or embed it.

Cons

I wish it could be integrated with Microsoft Teams or Miro.

Pros

I could bring in multiple formats and multiple PowerPoint presentations into one main presentation.

Cons

User interface seemed small - difficult to make changes on the fly during live events. Not available on Mac and the software's features were not worth maintaining a Windows system in a Mac based production workflow.

Pros

A grande variedade de recursos que o SlideDog dispões é incrível, como também o fato de ser uma possibilidade além dos programas que estamos acostumado a ver. Quando me deparei com o SlidDog demorei a me ambientar com os recursos, mas depois que aprendi como usá-los percebi a qualidade das minhas apresentações aumentarem.

Cons

A questão de ter um preço para ser usado, sou um profissional da educação, então enquanto alguns programa dispões de descontos ou até mesmo de gratuidade para profissionais da educação no SlidDog não encontrei essa possibilidade, mas com todas as ferramentas que são gratuitas eu consigo desenvolver uma grande variedade de apresentações.

Pros

on inquiring my employees (who use this software) told me it is comparatively easy for a new user to adapt to this one as compared to other major software.

Cons

I don't know because some of my employees under me started using it and ti felt like they are comfortable with it.
