All inclusive customer info, scheduling, job info available to field technician.

Very helpful in working with our technician's virtually to schedule work

Cons

1\. Limited editing functions for invoices ... ie, no warranty return option ... "Due" Field ... it is great you now have an option to pick "Upon Receipt" or a specific date, but we also used to write in "No Charge Warranty Return" ... can a field be added for us to add our own descriptors? 2. Event tracking: ability to pull up/search for events 3. Customer history - better labeling on if an item is an invoice or an estimate. right now have to go into each one to define 4. Recurring events, if you change one event it's going to change all of them. Would like to just be able to edit one of the events in a recurrence to change info for a particular day

Great! I feel it was a great fit for our company. I also feel that they are always growing the product as well.

Pros

Easy of use! Easy to train dispatcher and techs. Love the tags! The tags allow us to make our processes/reports that works with our business. Integration between QBs very easy.

Cons

On mobile app, difficult for our techs to determine history of a job address, when customer has many locations. And wish there was a quick link from HCP to specific sales proposal under customer name.

We've been able to simplify and streamline our communication workflow between the office and plumbing team. It is much more transparent. The amount of money we are saving each since switching from expensive providers like ServiceTitan has been tremendous.

Pros

Housecall Pro user interface is easy to use on both desktop cloud and mobile app. Easy to book appointments-->dispatch to the team with no issues. We the ability to also manage the team out in the field without being tied to the office all the time. Their community on Facebook is by far one of the best and most interactive and helpful to all.

Cons

This product has been awesome and there are no negative feedback.

ServceTitan charges 300-500 per technician for their service which is really expensive and they offer a lot of features/functionalities that not quite streamlines. A bit cumbersome for technicians to use and understand.

User friendly, text and email correspondence ,history, charts for p and l with statistics growth charts etc , many more options like financing built in with software and phone service. The option to add tools as company grows.

Cons

As of yet have not found any issues, but would like to incorporate truck trackers

### "Makes My Business A Lot Easier To Run"

I looked for years for a CRM software to help manage my window cleaning/pressure washing company. They were all either too complicated or didn't fit my workflow, until I found HouseCall Pro. This software had made a huge difference in the functioning of my business. Before HCP we did everything on paper. Estimates, work orders, invoices, and schedules were all printed and our office was literally drowning in un-filed, lost and outdated paperwork. This really hurts when you find a stack of invoices that were never mailed. After all we are small business and don't have a full time office staff. After HCP everything is simplified by handling estimates, scheduling, jobs, and invoicing all at the touch of a button as the events are completed. This one feature alone pays for itself not to mention the dozen other things are simplified by HCP such as auto reminder emails to customers and text messages letting the customer know we are on our way. HouseCall Pro makes me look like a pro especially compared to other companies who barley even answer the phone! I \[heart\] HouseCall Pro

Awesome and responsive customer service They welcome input from users and implement most of it quickly Automatic reminders to customers Powerful iPhone app with all customer info at your fingertips Marketing module that auto sends postcards Great calendar function with easily movable jobs Google street view to see jobs before you arrive And many, many more

Cons

For me there are no real cons at this point. I could have listed a half a dozen 6 months ago but honestly they are improving the app and web portal so often that I really have no current criticism.

Pros

Easy of use in the mobile phase of the program, and the software's ability to send automatic reminders, postcards, etc to the customer.

Cons

Hard to think of one, but pictures of items in the inventory would be nice.

Pros

Before HouseCall Pro. I was doing all my invoicing via paper and having to get customers to sign paperwork then send to corporate offices or other places for payment. Now I invoice, get signature, and send out for payment. Now if I can get them to pay on-time that would be a plus. But HouseCall Pro has delivered for me.

Cons

Nothing really. Just wish more of the apps provided were auto included.

House call pro is an easy app to use. It took our company into the 21st-century and our customers love that they are notified when we are on our way and they get the confirmation of the appointment through their email. I love that I don’t have as much paperwork! The invoice is emailed to them for their records. I love that most times we have a picture of their property that we can add notes to the customers profile or necessary pictures. We also like that the app allows the customer to pay with a credit card or pay online. The staff at Housecall Pro are always able to answer questions through the chat room and help me with any hiccups.

Cons

When I enter a new contact profile and if information is incorrect, such as an address, and I correct it. It does not show up on the front page of their profile.

Everything is out in the open and can be deleted no way every storing anything that is Deleted there is no way to back up your company profiles in order to use all the services that they offer your office staff will have to have access to your complete company

Pros

There is no way to back this software up if anything is deleted it is gone forever also in order for all the features to work you have to have everybody on your staff to have complete access to everything in your company.

Cons

Software is easy to use We found that it had most of the pictures that we were looking for that is something that we like but we don’t like is the security and no way to back up the software anything happens all of your information and data is gone forever

We have used electronic invoicing since 2010. Last spring as a company I knew we had to look towards a cloud based system. We had already switched to a competitor of HCP and it wasn’t working out for us. Some of our requirements when looking for a new invoice company was to be cloud based, be very Innovative, and to be stable with a long term vision, yet innovative and adaptable to a quickly changing world. We found this in Housecall Pro. They have a vision and leadership to guide people in the service industry willing to change into a new changing economy. Our Spring sales numbers increased 120 percent when comparing 2018 to 2019 and I give all the Workflow Managment credit to the HCP program. We could not have done this without a efficient way to manage. They are also over the top when it comes to customer service. 5 ⭐️ s

We are able to eliminate the paper invoices and show when the tech arrived and finished if needed. This helps in a lot of areas. It also has helped us to see which invoices have not been received and /or paid as the case may be. Having a signature that we can email with the invoice is so helpful!

Pros

I do like being able to set up a schedule and change it when needed. It is good to have the knowledge of where the technician is if needed. I like being able to see who has not paid and when. Being able to see when the job was started, finished, changes made and submission to client is a big help. The ability to capture a signature is one of our favorite features. It is very easy to use once you have mastered the basics. There are a few things that were challenging to discover how to do it and needed some explanations. Over all it is a really great program.

Cons

We have had a few problems learning the software. Most of the support staff and very good and extremely helpful. There are a couple that need further training or something. The easiest thing is to wait and then contact them later. Sometimes you need to ask for someone in particular. If I am working on the app late at night or after hours then I will need to wait but that has worked out so far. I hope that maybe they will be able to program it to be able to add segments to a recurring job. I have a job that always takes at least 3-5 days. That means it needs to have segments and that of course means I can't make it recurring every 2 months. We had a little trouble switching over to a different phone but we got it worked out and now everything is fine.

Having access to top leadership to openly talking about issues, direction, support or anything is very rare. I love the software and has been a game changer for us. I didn't have everything we needed out of the gate, but knowing my concerns and needs are not being heard but either on the list or has been truly considered is huge. I wouldn't want to partner and grow with any other software company.

Pros

Their transparency on their direction, product development and getting users involvement. Our business relationship. I truly feel that the care about me and my success. Love the overall easy of use in the office and out in the field.

Cons

I wish the mobile app (android phone) had all the capabilities the desktop version has. I'm in the field a lot and sometimes have to wait to get to office to do things.

Housecall's commitment to truly listen to their users and develop based on their users needs and their commitment to offer me supporr when needed. Trying to run a small company and wear multiple hats I don't have time be sit on phone for hours and taking days / weeks to resolve questions or issues.

It has all the best features for a home service business in one and it also has access to the Housecall consumer booking app.

Pros

It has good features like Job Scheduling with a GPS tracking system, payment processing, automated receipts and invoice etc.

Cons

There is no chance to use HCP to create contacts that are legally binding.

I have been able to save a ton of time on scheduling recurring appointments, and the system sends out reminders so that I don't have to. I have also been able to keep track of receivables better using this system.

Pros

Working with Housecall Pro has allowed me to save a lot of time, and keep well organized. Setting recurring appointments is easy and keeps me on track so that no one gets left behind.

Cons

There are only a couple of things I would change. One of them would be the ability to get signatures via the email invoice, and the other would be having agreements I could send through the system for approval, and signature. Also, automatic reminders about due invoices would be awesome.

I loved their customer service. That is always a part of the way a evaluate a service.

Pros

The functionality of the app for my workers. The workers knew what the house looked like, they were given the directions to the location, and the workers did not have to sign - in to sign - out. This app allowed me to treat my workers professionally ... not requiring them to sign in, however, they did have to sign out.

Cons

The unattractive window for buying the services on line. It was unattractive and not very intuitive for people who want to book online and also their documentation (the "how to") should be laid out in a simpler way. It should be understandable to a 4th grader, yes I'm a retired educator.

### "A Dobre (Good) Day with Housecall Pro"

My overall experience with HCP has been a very good business relationship. For any issues I have had with HCP I am able to research their site for troubleshooting first then proceed with their help line. I am currently working with HCP help line to set up my customer base to customize several customers that have several properties and report under the one customer. Very helpful customer support.

Pros

I like Housecall Pro mostly for: First, due to the communication between Field Techs and the Customer Second, The tracking of time for the technicians scope of work. Third, The Technicians' ability to complete the final invoice and accept credit card payments on site.

Cons

My biggest dislike is the constant disconnect between Housecall Pro (HCP) and Quick Books Online (QBO) for tax values. This is due to QBO having auto tax percentage updates with the latest percentages for each jurisdiction whereas HCP tax rates have to be set up manually by the user. If the jurisdiction tax rate is not correct in HCP for the customer there is a disconnect and the user must re-process in HCP to match QBO for the correct tax rate per the address of the customer.

Reason for choosing Housecall Pro

I chose HCP over other products due to all of the features within the program, the developer having an understanding of what is required for my type of business and the customer service support (Facebook - Community Outreach). I love the support and resources.

Overall, Housecall Pro is a must have for everyone who runs a home services business. Reliable and easy to use.

Pros

Love how simple is to manage appointments, estimates, invoicing and customer communication. It allow me to view all my appointments in one place and also to remind customers and updating them on the status of their job.Invoicing is such a time saver!

Cons

May not be affordable for everyone, while it is user-friendly, there may still be a learning curve involved in getting the most out of its features.

Housecall Pro has helped as a software and as a community in building/ re-building my companies infrastructure. It's rebranded us in a way that represents the quality effort we put into our work now also extending into our virtual representation of the company.

Pros

This software brought my family's company into the era of information and streamline ability. It helped already top-performing employees become more efficient and proud of their part in the company, and employees who just got by; accountable and inspired to take on more responsibility because they could measure their own performance and see how much more serious customers and potential customers took them while using this very user-friendly interface.

Cons

I would love to see more features that help the guys in the field perform consistently across all projects like prompted checklists before, during, and after job buttons are pushed.

Having a free base platform really helped us get started and the ability to add on products as we needed them to help us justify the cost and start using the product like we do today.

### "Taking the Dive with Housecall Pro"

So far the software has worked very effectively. I hope it continues to perform well.

Pros

Housecall Pro made it so I only had to enter a customer's info one time. The software pushes everything to QuickBooks, google calendar, customer email and text. Before Housecall Pro, I was struggling to stay organized. I had hand-written notes, screenshots, and OneNote files. I had to then go to calendar and enter info, and it took forever. After I got Housecall Pro it streamlined everything and made it simple and fast. There is no comparison. You can't do business without a CRM like this one.

Cons

Ran into a couple of glitches that were easily resolved. Am not thrilled about paying $150 a month for software. That is a very expensive subscription. Another concern is if the software will continue to perform when it's processing thousands of client files. Users on Facebook complained the software lags and cannot find customers in database for 5 minutes because of the the large number of customers in their system. Only time will tell if these issues are legitimate...and at that point, exporting to a spreadsheet would not be ideal.

Better than any other product that I have had or tested, that why I'm still around.

Pros

How it transfers everything into QuickBooks online when it's integrated.

Cons

The only thing I miss from my old software is that I could see all my customers for the day on a map and I can complete my routing and scheduling based on that.
