It is amazing. I wouldn’t ever think of looking elsewhere for service.

Pros

I think their customer service is second to non. It seems I can do everything I need with my current subscription and when I cannot figure it out they are super quick to help. I never have to wait long to figure out how to get stuff done on hcp. Also though- the ease of running and managing a business with four vans is amazing. All of my customers, appointments, reviews, and accounts receivable in one spot is a HUGE money saver.

Cons

Sometimes I struggle with running reports. I’m sure their is a report for every single thing but sometimes I wish I could just select a pre made report that is used commonly,

I love Housecall Pro

Pros

I love that I can do everything in one spot. Employees can clock in, jobs can be scheduled. Dashboards are present to view performance, and credit processing is easy.

Cons

A bit expensive per month but it definitely has a lot of features. Every now and then it will have some bugs but easily fixed.

For small business it's perfect and as you grow it grows with you.

Pros

Ease of use. I like the way it notifies the customer. Paperless invoicing. Scheduling is a breeze. Employees dont have to hand money.

Cons

You can only talk to someone through the blue bubble. Adding things on it gets pricey.

Pros

Great product. I vetted 11 other solutions and this one was my favorite and have not considered any other solution. I have been with HCP since they were still working out some of the bugs but now it works great and easy to use. Guys have slowly adapted to using it, it is so easy to use on the app that even the old timers are using it daily. I also like that the staff at HCP take input from us and integrate changes to make the system work better for us.

There are still some bugs to work out. GPS does not work,

Pros

Very easy to implement and start using from day one. Prior to using Housecall Pro our company was still utilizing paper invoicing that either could not be read, or found when needed. Tried 3 other CRM softwares in the past 3 years but all were lacking in one way or another that made them deal breakers. Online booking is amazing, $80K in bookings that were scheduled online last year!

Cons

I would like to see the proposal tool and maintenance agreements features fine tuned with the suggestions from the groups users.

Time... The time saving is the best feature for me. Also, it helps the little 1 truck small business compete with the Big Boys! You look so professional and on top of things.

Pros

The ease of use and the constant updating of features. The HouseCall Pro TEAM. Second to none, all about customer service and helping you grow into the best company you can be!

Cons

I really can't think of anything. No software out there is going to have 100% of everything. But this is the closest thing out there. Anything I have come has not stopped me from using HouseCall Pro.

Cons

I think the merchant fee is too high. I am forced to use an outside merchant because saving $10k a year in fees is significant

Pros

Housecall makes us look professional before we have even met the client. We are able to manage multiple large accounts at one time while still receiving amazing one on one customer service.

Cons

I would love to have the ability to search for a invoice based on the invoice number but this is nit picky because everything else about house call pro is amazing.

Very happy I made the switch. They have flexibility in their pricing model allowing you to ala cart functionality which I greatly appreciate. It makes me feel like I'm not paying for things I don't need.

Pros

I have used a few packages in this space and I feel this is by far the most intuitive interface. Great use of color and screen layouts. The iOS app is fantastic. All of my team members were able to use it by just picking it up. I can't say that about any of the other packages we have used. This translates in to value and a return on the investment.

Cons

I've only been using it for about 3 weeks and I really don't have any cons. At first I would say I wish their support had a phone line but after interacting with them for a few weeks I can honestly say the chat has worked out really great and it has not been a problem.

My overall experience is good, I just wish you can update the website on the desktop, as for the house call pro app is perfect and straight to the point, works quickly and consistently, the desktop website is very slow and takes a while to load.

Pros

I like the convenience it gives to the customer, and a lot of other things like the option to be able to speak to a staff member.

Cons

The batch invoices, I would like to see a total at the end of all the batch invoices so if the customer wants to pay with one check, it would give the total at the end with all the invoices. Also, when changing the scheduling, I don't like for example if I'm changing the schedule for the following week, i have to constantly click to the week after I change something, it doesn't redirect me to the page I was originally on, I have to go back to the schedule.

Scheduling and rescheduling.

Pros

The support. Chat is almost always 2 or fewer minutes away and immediately provides some articles that contribute to understanding. Support people are excellent and have always answered my question efficiently. The pace of upgrades is also impressive, usefil new features are introduced regularly.

Cons

Sometimes navigation is a little clumsy. But still about the best I've ever seen.

Pros

What i find most important and great about this software are the ability to Filter reports, scheduling efficiency, invoicing efficiency, collecting payments, and how organized is allows you to become.

Cons

What i find about the software that is not helpful and would need some updating are the restrictions in regards to accessibility by others that are not admin. Its kind of you either can do it or you can't. No in between. I feel as if certain features should be accessible while others are not. Also Segmenting on the app is not allowed. Techs are not able to go to the existing invoice they are working on from the previous day and add a segment. They have to create a whole new invoice.

The customer service support is very good with training someone new to the software. HCP has a lot of easy training videos.

Pros

The HCP software is great for our carpet, upholstery and rug cleaning business. It makes it easy to send estimates, schedule jobs and follow up with our clients. It raises the bar for customer service and communication. We love the way it syncs seamlessly with Quickbooks and saves us a ton of bookkkeeping time. Absolutely love this software and it’s improving all the time as the HCP team keeps listening to its clients and adds relevant feature and functionality improvements.

Cons

I only wish there was a better way to keep track of clients that are on a waiting list. We get booked up for 2-3 weeks and have a ton of people who go on a waiting list. I use another software program to do these client call back reminders or add jobs on the “wait list”.

They are a strong prideful company and seem to be a good bunch of people. HCP has helped my business grow & continue to evolve as a company . I recommend them all the time .

Pros

Ease of use , the system is super user friendly . The company is constantly evolving their system & making it better. You can tell from the outside HCP has a great company culture, they are friendly & helpful. The HCP online community is great and i always like being involved in online chats.

Cons

Customer support is chat based, its often hard to get in touch with someone. From time to time the system lags and freezes or crashes. It would be very helpful if there was an offline mode.

How easy it is to use. For Scheduling Clients and employees to jobs. Invoicing and taking of Payments . Employees can invoice a customer very easily.

Cons

Map updates on employees could be better. If you could add an employees hourly wage to there hours, that would be a nice report. Reviews are not up to standards. I prefer Broadly for that. Customer service is only via chat. I like to speak with someone. Customer service could be better like Broadly's. If some how Broadly and House call pro were to merge. That would be an unstoppable and KICK ASS company. I would gladly pay More.

Overall we are happy with HCP. Customer service is always right there and they try to help the best they can. We are a little disappointed that certain features haven’t been addressed yet (even though we’ve even had phone conversations with employees that have called us for feedback and really like our ideas) - I.e. the ability to input equipment information for every location and warranty information for each piece of equipment.

Pros

We love how user friendly this software is and that it’s linked to Google Maps.

Cons

I don’t like that there is no ability to input equipment information or warranty information. I also don’t like that you can’t run specific tags and print a list (I.e we have contract customers and we can’t generate a spreadsheet for them).

### "Simplicity"

When I first came to work with the company they barely used the program and it was used as they wanted and manually writing calls in a book. I quickly jumped in and used the program fully when I say fully only what I've educated myself with and it's very useful but I know there is still much to learn. It kind of reminds me of a program I used at a casino where I was over warehousing and that was Crystal Reports Writer very Simple.

Pros

Ease and simplicity. If you know anything about data based programs this is definitely a great program for your daily scheduling , tracking your customers, reports, GPS tracking of services.

Cons

Reports are ok but could be expanded and when downloaded to Excel you have to totally recreate your report and also write your formulas for totals for monthly business. Reeventing the wheel is what I call it. Time consuming. Hopefully this will be corrected in the next upgrade.

Pros

It has streamlined our business in so many ways! We're now planning our work weeks out which makes our field team and customers very happy. We love that we'll be able to track our efficiency and the productivity of our team and really help us grow the business.

Cons

We have a lot of customers that are larger contractors so we have multiple jobs on the go at all times. Being able to have multiple contacts for one account that you can choose from and assign to specific jobs to receive text notifications would be a huge help.
