I'm overall happy with the product. It does what I need it to, and there are still features that I haven't taken advantage of yet.

Pros

Pretty easy to use. Does my invoicing without any headaches.

Cons

My accountant doesnt use Quickbooks online he uses the software version and he couldn't integrate to two.

The one software that has helped us the most with invoices, scheduling and payment all in one that works great with Quick Books. Time saver with our day to day operation and able to book jobs online with customer made easy

Pros

Tech Support is always there to help when we need them. Easy set up and only took use about a week to switch over from paper work order to paperless. Online Booking with other apps and our website

Cons

Cell service at times can effect your tech from being able to operate but that can happen with any of this type of service.

We are extremely pleased thus far as mentioned above.

Pros

We especially our customers being able to "meet" our technicians before their arrival. In this time of uncertainty a picture and name provides a level of comfort that is unmatched. We also appreciate the ability to accept payment while on site thus decreasing the instances of duplication.

Cons

There is really nothing we do not like about the software. The service plans included do not necessarily provide the space for information we would wish to include; however, am sure this would be sufficient for others.

Housecall has completely changed my business. We have at least doubled our revenue in the last two years which I think a huge factor of that is house call. It gives us the ability to keep our customers in the loop. They love the constant commutation for the appointment. On the way texts, and appointment reminders are huge. It separates us from our competition!

The ease of use for the office and the technicians in the field.

Cons

Nothing, any issues that arise housecall is quick to remedy!

### "Enjoy House Call Pro (HCP)"

My overall experience with HCP has been exceptional! Erik, my account manager has been extremely available to my requests which allows me to further understand the product with helpful tutorials. Thanks Erik!

Pros

What I most like about the software is the ease of use. Very user friendly. Although the integration from Square to HCP took a little time to format and upload, it's all well worth it. I also like the fact that it's all in real time and the communication available to my customers.

Cons

With most, change is different and can be time consuming to learn a new software program. However, the integration from my old software to HCP took less than an hour (if you know what you're doing).

Worst experience of as a veteran would rather go back to war

Pros

Nothing at all its a scam. And not even worth a dollar

Cons

They don't stand behind there product and nothing goes over to quick books and there payment system is a joke to even use it cost us over $7000 dollars we lost after using there payment system they had no clue where the money was. The contacts do not load and you will get the run around from. There support team and and they have no respect for America or there veterans as business owners. The \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] said he will look into but never does and doesn't give a crap about you or stand behind his software. Dealing with them is worst then going into Walmart. They will bill you more then what you agreed to on your plan each month and then refuse to cancel the service.

Loving it- especially the website! Starting to pick up traction- sending people to our booking online even when they call on phone- once inital consult is done - we ask if we can send them a link to book online - it saves us precious minutes and upholds safety as we have no office admin person- just 2 main techs in the road and a business manager

Pros

From the software I use daily to the website I send customer to to book online, to the way it connects over to Quickbooks. Not to mention the Support and constant invocation and updates!

Cons

Certain items are just not customizable, may be for good reason to keep it simple-

House call pro has been great, for a new business I can honestly look back at define our first year as pre and post “house call pro”. The changes to our business where noticed immediately and it started feeling like we had a working permanent business rather than just a start-up. Would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed with Housecall Pro.

Pros

House call pro has been easy to set up, and user friendly. The staff are prompt to answer questions and have resolved every issue we came across with simple straight forward responses that allowed us to better navigate the features of the software. It has made our business more effetient and taken a lot of stress out of our lives. We feel more productive and our customers have voiced their appreciation of the prompts they receive that is automatically sent out.

Cons

We found we couldn’t book a job for multiple days without individually plugging in the information for each day the job would take. It doesn’t take to long to do but if the job takes a week and a half it’s tedious to block off that amount of time.

Fantastic. You've got a great company and we appreciate you greatly!

Pros

The customer service is top notch. We especially appreciate the chat with a customer service representative option that allows our company to easily reach someone who can seamlessly walk us through quick questions about working with the system and its functionality. Also, we appreciate that apps are frequently being added with new functions and options to help businesses thrive.

Cons

We do not particularly like the frequent reminders about upcoming events and mastermind classes that pop up when we are trying to complete tasks.

Overall Housecall Pro was easy to use if you don't get confused by too many features and things to click on. The data you need is there, but it can be easy to lose your place in the schedule if you use it to calculate how many hours each employee worked.

Pros

I used this program as an administrator to look at invoices for clients if they were paid so I could calculate the paychecks for employees. It was easy to see which employee worked which gigs.

Cons

It was very clunky to go back and forth between the schedule to see what employees did which job, and the invoice, and seeing if it was paid by the client.

Pros

The ability to sync with our Quickbooks Online and being able to email invoice directly from application. Not having to enter service tickets is a HUGE PLUS!

Cons

Our company has multiple jurisdictions for sales tax and some change quarterly. With that being said, any future appointments we set before the sales tax changes are made, if we don't update before the job is completed, we receive errors. It would be nice if it could update all future jobs already set.

Wonderful software!

Pros

Before switching over from pen and paper to take down notes for our AC calls, we were not very organized. As soon as we started using this software it is so simple to find customers and create bills for them as well.

Cons

A built in copy and past feature may be beneficial for the times when customers move and we need to copy over their old address or information that has stayed the same.

Our previous system was outdated and offered no customization or detailed history so this makes a big difference. This hit all of our major needs as well as many of our wants. It's simple enough that someone without a lot of tech/app experience can jump right into using it. Their are useful video tutorials if they want more assistance.

Pros

Being able to see customer history is a big thing for us - I can go to the customer and see all of the times we've been out. Seeing real time updates is a huge plus - I can see photos from the job site and notes immediately after our tech submits them in the field which means we can start ordering parts or anything else we need to do right away. Scheduling is easy and our techs get updates on their phone with all of the info they need right away. I like customizing employees photos and colors so visually the schedule is easy to tell who is scheduled before even clicking to get detail. The start and finish button are fantastic. One of the most useful features beyond basic scheduling is job tags and the ability to run reports. I can export our appointment data and sort it so we can really see where our time is being spend and how. Customer support/chat is really helpful.

Cons

There are a few features and functions that we would like that are not currently offered - fortunately they welcome feedback and do take our requests as considerations for future updates

### "No longer a weekend warrior"

This app is great and has definitely taken my business to the next level. I was using pen and paper before this and let me just say- it was a mess haha. This app has streamlined my daily scheduling and opened up new avenues of obtaining business as well. It took me from someone that appeared to be a “weekend warrior” and put me on the level of a professional business.

Pros

The “on my way feature” Credit card processing And the fact that this one app basically runs my business- don’t have to use multiple apps for different things.

Cons

I wish everything could be done from the app itself- there are certain things that have to be done from the desktop (like creating recurring jobs- which in my industry is 95% of my business)

looked nice in the videos and the free 1 person 1 year trial was huge because we were a new company just starting out we didn't know if we were going to make any money so that free trial really helped seal the deal.

### "Affordable and Easy to use"

Great program, has improved efficiency and information sharing, and has made it easier for us to provide top notch customer service.

Pros

This software is affordable. It has vastly improved efficiency in our office (we were still using paper). It was time consuming to get all of our paper records scanned in to the system but now that is finished and everything is easily accessible to all. We are better able to serve our customers and can quickly answer any questions they may have from our service. Our customers love that they receive notifications when the tech is on the way to their home and the photo of their technician, so they know who to expect. This program has revolutionized the way we do things in our office and I tell everyone I know who could benefit from it about housecall pro!

Cons

I wish the system would generate a list other than the task list to help us manage when our service agreement customers are due for their next visit, however, I have had other suggestions for improvement to the software and they have actually work on them, so I am hopeful.

### "A review of Housecall Pro CRM"

It is much easier to look up phone numbers, addresses, and prior work orders within Housecall Pro vs. our former manual paper system. Also a good feature HC Pro provides is the ability to collect payments in the field which is probably more accurate and faster than other methods.

Pros

Housecall Pro is a great CRM product. We are a plumbing company and we use this software every day and it helps us keep track of our customers in the cloud. We have not started using Housecall Pro in the field as of yet, but we will soon. Once a person learns the software it is fairly easy to upload a list of inventory items such as plumbing parts and then add these parts to a customer's invoice. We are experimenting with locating parts through voice recognition from the tablet and then adding these parts to the invoice rather than keying them in by hand. We use a time and material vs. flat rate customer invoicing system. Many companies are hard to reach or place you on long holds when you call them. Housecall Pro utilizes a chat feature which provides a timely response to our questions. Housecall Pro is an affordable and good quality software program that is web based. Some of the features of the program include job scheduling, dispatch, customer invoicing, the ability to accept credit cards in the field, and more. Overall we are very satisfied with Housecall Pro and recommend them as a Field Service Software solution.

Cons

It would be nice to have sub categories or some type of drop down menu for our parts so they would be easier to find. For example it would make sense to have a category called copper fittings and then a sub category called elbows, and then a sub category to that for different types of elbows such as 22, 45, and 90 degree. Since we are time and material plumbers it would also be nice to have an automated way to calculate our labor costs based on time spent on the job, but this still requires a manual calculation from what I understand.

Pros

I like the app and how simple/fast it is to add a new customer, notes and create an estimate, and then copy that to a job. I also like how I can track employees and business stats.

Cons

I don't like the limits on the app,i wish it were more like the online site. The scheduling process has greatly improved. I don't like the emails the site sends out when i try to edit them. i wish i could make them look nicer on the site instead of going to another company for that service.

Pros

The management at this company is amazing. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] the guy in charge with all the feathers in the hat is incredible. You can talk to him thew Facebook messenger and he will take the time to talk to you and help you out. Who does this with alot of workers? You can tell that the people working here are also professionals and and very helpful!! They even made a Facebook group to help fight and get threw this covid 19 situation. This company is awesome and if don't use this company then your missing out!!

I couldn’t be happier. They have made my life as a business owner a lot easier. From texting invoices to online booking. They are only getting better too.

Pros

I book jobs when I eat, sleep, shower. Most importantly when I am spending time with family. My voicemail directs them to my online booking.

Cons

They are always improving the software. They have monthly meetings with pros to tackle any issues. Or come up with new ideas to make things easier. Every time I got mad about something I realized it was user error.

They continue to listen to us users and add new features regularly, we have a forum on Facebook where one can discuss situations with other users all over the country.

Pros

Many features, invoicing,marketing, collections, my techs like the notifications and Google maps guidance, I like the GPS forf tracking where my guys are. I've been with hip since early on and have experienced the fantasy growth and many new features, customer service thru the bubble is second to none. I'm in the carpet cleaning industry.

Cons

Being cloud based there are some features I can't do in the field. It's app based and sometimes I get dizzy watching the wheel go round and round if I have a weak signal. Doesn't do taxes or payroll.
